Abstract

One of the skills that students need to possess in the 21st century is the ability to think critically. Students' critical thinking skills can be developed in natural science learning. Nonetheless, not all learning models can help students improve their critical thinking skills. Undoubtedly, a suitable learning model must be chosen; the most crucial step is understanding the student's preferred learning method. This study, therefore, aims to determine the influence of the inquiry learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in terms of various student learning styles. This study used a quantitative research approach. The method used was an experimental research method with a 2x2 factorial ANOVA experimental research type. This research was conducted in class V at eight elementary schools in Majalengka Regency, with a total sample of 262 students. The data collection instrument employed was an essay test. The data analysis techniques utilized were the normality test, homogeneity test, and the Two-Way ANOVA test using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this study demonstrated that the critical thinking skills of students with a kinesthetic learning style had a higher average score than those with an audio-visual learning style when the teacher applied the inquiry learning model to natural science learning. It was because the activities of the inquiry learning model in science learning involved a lot of physical movement activities, which are characteristics of students with a kinesthetic learning style.

Abstract

Students are required to have critical thinking skills in order to be able to implement their knowledge. However, in reality, many students still have low critical thinking skills. Many students are less enthusias-tic about asking, answering, and expressing their opinions. This research aims to describe strategies for building critical thinking skills in elementary school students through an independent curriculum. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive analysis techniques with three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are: the principal's strat-egy for improving students' critical thinking skills by implementing extracurricular activities. Class teach-ers, by implementing differentiated learning, implement projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila and literacy students. As well as campus students, by implementing morning numeracy, morning literacy and additional classes for students who need intensive assistance. After implementing these various strategies, students' critical thinking abilities can improve, and even their' character can improve.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan filter udara racing terhadap emisi gas buang pada mesin EFI tipe EJ-VVT-i. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur parameter emisi utama, yaitu karbon monoksida (CO), hidrokarbon (HC), dan nitrogen oksida (NOx), serta membandingkan hasil emisi antara penggunaan filter udara standar dan filter udara racing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan pada emisi gas buang. Penggunaan filter udara racing, yang didesain untuk meningkatkan aliran udara ke mesin, menyebabkan penurunan kadar CO dari 0,98 g/km menjadi 0,82 g/km dan HC dari 0,12 g/km menjadi 0,08 g/km, mengindikasikan peningkatan efisiensi pembakaran. Namun, terjadi peningkatan kadar NOx dari 0,07 g/km menjadi 0,09 g/km, yang disebabkan oleh suhu pembakaran yang lebih tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan filter udara racing pada mesin EJ-VVT-i dapat meningkatkan performa mesin melalui pembakaran yang lebih efisien, tetapi juga berdampak pada peningkatan emisi NOx.

Abstract

Pancasila merupakan dasar sekaligus sebagai ideologi bangsa Indonesia menegakkan prinsip-prinsip kehidupan bernegara. Dalam menerapkan Nilai-nilai sila ke-5 pancasila siswa menanamkan dan menerapkan secara nyata di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan nilai nilai sila ke-5 pancasila. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu berupa sosialisasi kepada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kereng Bangkirai Kota Palangka Raya. Sosialisasi merupakan suatu proses sosial yang dialami seseorang atau kelompok untuk belajar mengenali serta menghayati pola perilaku, sistem sosial terkait nilai dan norma. Hasil dari sosialisasi yang sudah kami lakukan menunjukkan bahwa rata rata siswa sudah menerapkan nilai sila ke-5 pancasila pada kehidupan sehari-hari terutama dilingkungan sekolah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kereng Bangkirai sudah mendapatkan sosialisasi tentang Nilai-nilai sila ke-5 pancasila dan menerapkannya di kehidupan sehari-hari.
