Abstract

Based on the need analysis conducted, the problems are Bubutan subdistrict of Surabaya City has a large number of young people, but it is not balanced with productivity. In this stage, adolescents should be directed to carry out positive activities by their interests. Results of the initial assessment found that young people in Bubutan are interested in the field of entrepreneurship. Still, unfortunately, most of them did not have basic entrepreneurial knowledge and skill. The solution that is expected to be effective for those problems is an entrepreneurship education program to empower self-potential in the entrepreneurial field. In fact, the implementation of this program can be a solution to the need of young people in Bubutan, which was lack entrepreneurial education. This program was given to Posyandu Remaja with consideration that they can become initiators for other adolescents to develop productivity, quality, and self-character in the industrial era 4.0, which demands global competition.

Abstract

Parents/caregivers are the most important actors in preventing dental caries since early childhood. Parents have a major role in introducing the importance of maintaining dental health in children. One of the methods that parents can use is by telling stories about dental health to children. Based on previous study showing high prevalence of dental caries among children in Semarang City, we would like to initiate a storytelling training program for parents of students studying at Komunitas Rubbik Indonesia, Semarang. The purpose of this community service program is to provide knowledge of storytelling techniques with children's story books with the theme of dental health. The method that will be used is the creation of dental health education storybooks for children aged 4-7 years and providing training on storytelling techniques for 25 parents of children in the Indonesian Rubbik community. The evaluation of this program shows that parents acknowledge satisfaction with the program and there is a significant difference in the results of pre-test and post-test for parents' knowledge regarding dental health. This activity was able to start the process of using storytelling techniques as a method of dental health education in children.

Abstract

Satisfaction with life is an important element of mental health as its protective features against depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. The bottom-up theory of life satisfaction explained that satisfaction in specific domains tend to sum up to general life satisfaction. accordingly, studies reported that relationship satisfaction predicts general life satisfaction This cross-sectional study aims to investigate the role of two variables, namely perceived social support (PSS) and mattering. We hypothesized that PSS and mattering perform full serial mediation on the link relationship between relationship satisfaction and life satisfaction. 256 individuals who live in several urban areas in West Malaysia were recruited through purposive sampling to respond to online form consisted of scales of relationship satisfaction, satisfaction with life, general mattering scale and multidimensional scale of perceived social support. Bootstrap method with 95% confidence interval and 5,000 samples was conducted through PROCESS Macro model 6; the results suggested that a significant, full serial mediation occurred. Additionally, both PSS and mattering significantly predicted life satisfaction after controlling for each other.

Abstract

Abstrak Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB-C) Aditama Surabaya memiliki romobongan belajar (rombel) SD, SMP, dan SMA dengan total 7 kelas berisi 25 siswa berkebutuhan khusus yang meliputi autis, gangguan pemusatan perhatian dan hiperaktivitas, disabilitas intelektual, hingga tuna grahita. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra berkaitan dengan berulangnya kasus pelecehan dan perilaku seksual berisiko pada anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), sedangkan sekolah belum memiliki satuan tugas yang memberikan edukasi hingga menangani permasalahan seksual yang memadai. Tujuan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah memberdayakan guru SLB-C sebagai agen peduli edukasi seks di lingkungan sekolah kepada siswa-siswa berkebutuhan khusus, staf sekolah, hingga orang tua sehingga dapat menjangkau semua level yang berhubungan dengan siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Target jangka pendek yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SLB-C dalam melakukan edukasi seks sehingga kesadaran siswa berkebutuhan khusus dan lingkungan sekitarnya meningkat. Metode pelaksanaan program PKM meliputi sosialisasi, psikoedukasi, dan unjuk keterampilan. Materi yang disampaikan adalah karakteristik perkembangan ABK, perilaku seksual pada ABK, batasan hal yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilakukan di tempat umum, kesehatan reproduksi, perlindungan diri dari kejahatan seksual, dan pola asuh positif pada ABK. Target jangka panjang yang diharapkan adalah agen peduli edukasi seks mampu menjalankan fungsinya secara berkelanjutan sehingga kasus-kasus pelecehan, kekerasan, dan permasalahan perilaku seksual pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus dapat teratasi. Kata Kunci: ABK, edukasi seks, guru, pendidikan seksual, SLB Abstract Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB-C) Aditama Surabaya has elementary, junior high, and high school classrooms with a total of 7 classes containing 25 students with special needs including autism, attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity, intellectual disabilities, and mental disabilities. The problems faced by partners are related to repeated cases of sexual harassment and risky sexual behavior in children with special needs (ABK), while schools do not have a task force that provides education to deal with adequate sexual problems. The purpose of the community service program is to empower SLB-C teachers as caring agents of sex education in the school environment to students with special needs, school staff, and parents so that it can reach all levels related to students with special needs. The expected short-term target is to increase the knowledge and skills of SLB-C teachers in conducting sex education so that the awareness of students with special needs and the surrounding environment increases. The method of implementing the PKM program includes socialization, psychoeducation, and skill demonstration. The materials presented are the developmental characteristics of children with disabilities, sexual behavior in children with disabilities, limits of things that can and should not be done in public places, reproductive health, self-protection from sexual crimes, and positive parenting in children with disabilities. The long-term target is for agents who care about sex education to be able to carry out their functions in a sustainable manner so that cases of harassment, violence, and sexual behavior problems in students with special needs can be resolved.. Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul pada remaja di Kecamatan Kedamean Gresik adalah meningkatnya kasus perundungan dan kekerasan seksual. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan Kepala SMP N 16 Gresik, terjadi peningkatan kasus perundungan sebesar 20 persen di tahun 2025 dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Penulis berinisiatif untuk mengadapakan pelatihan konselor sebaya dan pertolongan pertama psikologis untuk mencegah kasus perundungan dan kekerasan di SMP N 16 Gresik. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran pentingnya kesehatan mental di kalangan remaja, melatih kemampuan dasar menjadi pendengar yang baik dan kemampuan memberikan pertolongan pertama psikologis, serta mencegah terjadinya kasus perundungan di kalangan sekolah. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian mix-method (kualitatif berupa wawancara semi terstruktur dan kuantitatif berupa analisis t-test untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan). Wawancara semi terstruktur dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi narasi pengalaman peserta pasca mengikuti pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan, wawancara dan analisis data uji data t-test, pelatihan konselor sebaya dan pertolongan psikologis pertama terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan mental remaja, meningkatkan pemahaman pencegahan perundungan dan peningkatan kemampuan siswa untuk menjadi pendengar yang baik. Selama 4 sesi pelatihan, peserta berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam menerapkan tiga prinsip pertolongan pertama psikologis, yaitu melihat, mendengar dan menghubungkan ke profesional. Pelatihan ini juga direncanakan menjadi program tahunan OSIS SMP N 16 Gresik, sehingga dapat memberikan dampak jangka panjang untuk kesehatan mental remaja dan pencegahan perundungan di kawasan SMP N 16 Gresik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan psikoedukasi konselor sebaya dan pertolongan pertama psikologis terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap pentingnya menjadi pendengar yang baik dan kepedulian kesehatan mental remaja.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out based on the results of a needs analysis of the incidence of psychological problems at SMK 4 Pancasila Ambulu, Jember Regency. Guidance and Counseling (BK) revealed a total of 84 cases found during the first trimester in 2023, including conflicts with families, bullying among teenagers, academic stress, and interpersonal conflicts that led to psychological problems in students. This is faced with limited resources so that the range of handling of students' psychological problems is ineffective. Therefore, this community service aims to form agents of change who care about mental health to help deal with adolescent psychological problems through increasing the capacity of PMR cadres as peer counselors. The activities were carried out in several forms, including Instagram Live for a total of 2 (two) sessions with the topics of Variety of Adolescent Mental Disorders and Detection of Adolescent Mental Disorders, peer counselor training, as well as discussion forums and peer counselor role-play to equip cadres with the knowledge and skills to carry out their role as counselors. The results showed that the capacity of the cadres had significantly increased in knowledge and skills as peer counselors (ES = 1.54). Along with increased capacity as peer counselors, cadres are able to effectively carry out their role as agents of peer mental health care. The cadres have handled the psychological problems of students at SMK 4 Pancasila Ambulu under the supervision of a psychologist. The empowerment of PMR cadres as peer mental health agents also received support and commitment from the school by formally establishing peer mental health care agents. The activities carried out by peer mental health care agents are expected to continue consistently so as to fully support student well-being.
