Abstract

This study is intended to understand how parents of early childhood instill clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in them in urban village areas during the COVID-19 pandemic. By allowing conditions to run naturally, the use of a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic pattern is the choice in this research method. All informants are devoted to families who have children aged 5 years who experience school from home by collecting data through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. As a result, PHBS education has been carried out by parents according to the abilities and conditions of each family. These limitations cause certain behaviors that occur during a pandemic that do not run optimally, such as the use of masks. Suggestions for further studies are research on PHBS education which involves three educational environments for early childhood, both during the pandemic or normal.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat dan kemampuan literasi dasar peserta didik Indonesia mendorong Pemerintah Republik Indonesia untuk lebih menggiatkan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yang tidak hanya melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah namun juga peran dari akademisi dan orang tua murid. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yang ditetapkan dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 23 Tahun 2015 tetang Penumbuhan Budi Pekerti bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan minat membaca peserta didik dan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis agar pengetahuan dapat dikuasai secara lebih baik oleh peserta didik. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan participatory action research sebagai pendekatan penelitian dengan tahapan kegiatan yang terdiri dari observasi lapangan, focus group discussion, modeling, dan penciptaan lingkungan sekolah yang literat. Studi ini menghasilkan beberapa poin utama yaitu (1) penyusunan program-program literasi dasar yang dapat diterapkan langsung di sekolah. Program-program tersebut terbagi menjadi program rutin harian, mingguan, bulanan, dan semesteran; (2) percontohan kegiatan literasi dasar yang melibatkan akademisi dan orang tua; serta (3) penciptaan lingkungan sekolah yang literat.

Abstract

In relation with the school, it may be stressed that effectiveness of the school is in its specified procedure to develop a consistent organization based on the need which centralized on the school principal managerial process. Because, the system, management, as well as school procedure and its organizational development lay on the hand of the principal, who is then considered as the evaluation standard. This managerial process can be judged from the function of organizational structure optimally, teachers performance, professional school personnel, the development of learning activity, the implementation of rule and regulation, academic development and the achievement of education aim. Due to this reason, the more skillful is the principal, teacher, and other school personnel the more effective and efficient the whole school system and its management. The main requirement of organizational effectiveness is by understanding various methods how an organization is effective. In this case the manager of an organization is not only to identify various dimensions of critical institutional performance, but to mobile the organization towards effectiveness. The effective school models consist of three levels; school, class, and the student background.

Abstract

Abu Hanifah meletakkan Hadis Mutawatir sebagai bentuk tertinggi yang diyakini kebenarannya tanpa sikap suspektif dalam melihat validitas sebuah hadis. Hal ini tentu dipengaruhi oleh jumlah kuantitas (alkamm) perawi yang banyak, serta ke-‘adalah-annya, disertai tempat kejadian turunnya (makanu al-wurud) hadis tersebut. Sehingga sesuatu yang telah ditetapkan secara mutawatir akan menghasilkan ilmu yang pasti (alilmu al-dlaruriy) sebagaimana seseorang melihat kejadian secara langsung (al-mu’ayanah). Jadi jelas bahwa Abu Hanifah dan pengikutnya melihat bahwa hadis mutawatir menghasilkan informasi yang tidak diragukan lagi. Namun, di sisi lain Abu Hanifah mengatakan bahwa mutawatir tersebut tidak mutlak dibatasi dengan jumlah kuantitas yang banyak, akan tetapi sebuah hadis akan mencapai derajat mutawatir, apabila hadis tersebut telah disepakati dan diterima secara aklamatif oleh seluruh umat tentang keabsahannya. Tulisan singkat ini mencoba melihat sisi kecil dari pemikiran Abu Hanifah tentang hadis.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is the urge to do the best possible, in order to obtain the best results in accordance with the expected conditions, by trying hard, and outperforming others based on certain quality standards. The low development of achievement motivation of children aged 4-6 years and the application of the role playing method still uses limited media. The purpose of this study is to describe how to provide achievement motivation, and how children respond when giving achievement motivation. The methodology used in this study is a literature study that describes how the role-playing method is used in TK ABA Buntu Dea, Tongko Village. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of research through the role playing method can affect achievement motivation in early childhood because with achievement motivation children can get to know each other's characteristics better, and increase self-confidence. Thus the role playing method is considered effective as a learning method to increase achievement motivation in early childhood.

Abstract

The purpose of this study relates to the identification of Islamic relations and national culture from Abdurrahman Wahid, a national figure who has extraordinary education and experience in the plurality of the Indonesian nation, to then analyze democracy as an important way of religion along with Indonesia's plural culture in the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. A qualitative descriptive character study relies on a basic literature review of Abdurrahman Wahid's various works, including relevant secondary sources. Everything is analyzed for its content so that it can be concluded that Islamization is a model that is not needed in the relations of Islam and national culture in Indonesia. Appreciation for the diversity of the nation is a safe gate so that the religion of Islam becomes a staple color in the nation's culture. This would not have been possible unless they put forward a just democratic life in their society. Options that do not deviate from maqashid Sharia

Abstract

The background of this research is learning problems, low teacher performance, character, work programs are not implemented properly due to the less than optimal leadership of the principal. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the leadership of the islamic schools head integrated with religious values? The purpose of this research is to describe and find the leadership of principals who are integrated with religious values. This study uses a qualitative method of multiple case study types. The research locations were Madrasah Aliyah Madania and Salaffiyah Islamic Boarding School Fadlun Minalloh D.I. Yogyakarta. Data sources include: Headmaster, Madrasah, Deputy Headmaster, and Teachers. Data collection techniques include: in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results: the application of integrated leadership to religious values includes: Deliberation, effective communication, collaboration, cooperation, honesty, responsibility, trustworthiness, strategic thinking. Headmaster need to implement planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring.

Abstract

Learning and teaching a foreign language is challenging, but research has developed effective methods to teach it in a short time with reasonable effort. The difficulty of acquiring a language depends on the learner's age and environment. Children need more time than adults, and learners in a language’s native environment require less time than those in unfamiliar environments. This study investigates how the mother tongue influences Arabic language acquisition among new students at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Jakarta. This research aims to analyze the factors that lead to the influence of the mother tongue on acquiring the Arabic language. The researcher used a qualitative approach for this study, and the data collection method for this research is divided into three sections: observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings identify three main factors: (a) internal factors (psychological), such as stress and motivation, which affect language acquisition, with each student's motivation differing due to the language's novelty; (b) external factors (linguistic environment), where the environment plays a key role in motivating students, including interactions with teachers, senior students, and staff; and (c) the curriculum, which must align with the needs of beginner students learning Arabic.

Abstract

Purpose - Charismatic leadership is often regarded as a central leadership model in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), especially due to the strong influence of the kyai as both religious and institutional leaders. However, the sustainability of teachers' organizational commitment in such institutions remains a challenge. This study aims to examine the direct influence of charismatic leadership on organizational commitment, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction in this relationship. Methods - This research employed a quantitative survey method involving 566 educators from Pesantren Darunnajah Indonesia. Data were collected using validated instruments measuring charismatic leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and the Baron and Kenny mediation test, supported by SPSS software. Findings - indicate that charismatic leadership significantly influences both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Additionally, job satisfaction is found to mediate the relationship between charismatic leadership and organizational commitment. The level of charismatic leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment among respondents was generally high. Implications/limitations: The findings provide empirical support for leadership development programs in pesantren that emphasize charismatic attributes such as vision, empathy, and personal influence. Originality/value: This study contributes to highlights the strategic role of the kyai not only as a religious figure but also as a professional leader within organizational frameworks.
