Abstract

The Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration establishes Healthy Village Homes (RDS) in every Village in the Regency and City where stunting prevention is prioritized. Based on the preliminary survey, the implementation of RDS activities in Kemuning Lor Village was not going well so that it had an impact on stunting and other nutritional problems in the village. The purpose of this community service activity was to implement a Family Nutrition Information System (SIGA) in RDS that could be used by the community for early detection of stunting and other nutritional problems. This activity was attended by 24 participants consisting of village officials, RDS managers, and communities with toddlers. The activity phase included a preliminary survey, permit coordination, system creation, preparation of the SIGA manual book, socialization of SIGA implementation, and evaluation. Evidenced by the increased knowledge of participants in early detection of stunting and other nutritional problems after being given socialization and training. It is recommended for RDS managers to develop RDS as a stunting control center in Kemuning Lor Village by providing more intense socialization and health education to the community.

Abstract

Technological advances have an impact on health services, one of which is the use of hospital management information systems in the research unit of the Dr Sardjito hospital. However, the implementation of the system encountered obstacles, including the absence of notification of the maximum loan limit and the absence of case classification based on disease in the borrowed medical record file. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the hospital management information system in the research unit. This research was a qualitative research with respondents 3 officers in the research unit. Data collection through in-depth interviews and observation. Data were analyzed using content analysis method. The results showed that the system does not have a notification if the number of files borrowed exceeds the maximum limit, the system produces loan data and medical record return data accurately, but the system can be accessed simultaneously on different computers. This study suggests to hospitals to add a notification feature if the number of files borrowed exceeds the maximum limit and add a medical record borrowing feature based on disease classification.

Abstract

The number of scientific journals, especially in Indonesia, is not commensurate with their quality. This can be seen from the number of journals accredited by SINTA which is not comparable to the number of journals indexed by Garuda. One indicator of a quality journal that is highly useful is the number of citations (scientific impact). In the substantive elements of journal accreditation assessment in Arjuna, the number of citations includes points that have a high score (maximum 8) if those who have cited them over the last 3 years are high (>30 citations). However, to find out the number of citations, the journal must be indexed in dimensions which are crossref products. In accordance with the latest journal accreditation guidelines released in 2021, citations that are recognized only use dimensions. But the problem is that the dimensions calculation process is not real-time, where the citation calculation results will be displayed four times a year. This is certainly not effective considering that scientific articles in journals can be cited by other articles at any time. It is mandatory to use dimensions because currently the Garuda and Sinta portals do not accommodate the needs related to citation calculations. The next problem is that there is no platform in one application that can bring together writers and journal managers, so up to now writers have been looking for just any journal for publication, on the other hand, journal managers have been aggressively promoting through email broadcasts and calls for papers, but sometimes it doesn't feel optimal. So the solution to this problem is the need for a multifunctional platform in the form of a scientific journal citation calculation application and article hub. The results of the research are in the form of a blueprint for the application of citation calculations and articlehub in scientific journal publications. Where the blueprint shows that the citation process is real time or up to date so that the latest number of citations in scientific journals can be known.

Abstract

Stroke is the main cause of death in Indonesia. Identification of stroke risk factors can use the Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS). Researchers have designed and developed a CDSS using the Framingham Risk Score (FRS) method to identify stroke in patients. The study aims to identify stroke risk factors using CDSS with the Framingham Risk Score method in dr Soebandi Hospital. This research was an analytic observational study using secondary data from medical record documents of neurology patients. . The sampling technique used was incidental sampling that met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria used in selecting medical records were medical records that had complete data regarding gender, age, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, smoking behavior, history of diabetes mellitus, and the patient's stroke incidence thus obtaining 14 patient medical records.. Data were analyzed using the FRS method. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there were 8 patients with high risk and 6 patients with low risk. However, further research needs to be carried out on the relationship between variables so that they can contribute in more detail to efforts to reduce the prevalence of stroke in society.

Abstract

Patrang Health Center as a health facility that organizes medical records in supporting the provision of individual health services is carried out semi-manually and hasn’t implemented SIMPUS where the recording is still performed manually and assisted by using Google Sheet. The average number of daily visits that aren’t comparable to the staff available and haven’t optimized technology has hampered the process of providing medical records so it can affect the quality of service. This requires a system that can support the implementation of medical records so it can optimize the staff in providing outpatient services. This study aims to built an electronic medical record of outpatient services at the Patrang Health Center by using the R&D as a research type and using the Waterfall as a system development method which includes the phases of defining requirements, design system, implementation and testing the system using the Black Box testing method where the menus and functions are in accordance with user requirements and run successfully. The system has a menu to record registration activities, examinations, medicine data management and making reports so that it can improve the quality of officers in providing services.

Abstract

In 2018, the Indonesian Ministry of Health conducted a survey revealing that the rate of deliveries via Caesarean Section (C-Section) had exceeded the WHO's maximum standard of 17.6%. At Aulia Hospital in Pekanbaru, the prevalence of C-Sections reached 76% per 1000 births, significantly higher than the international benchmark. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing delivery methods using the C4.5 algorithm. The research employs a quantitative analytic approach with Secondary Data Analysis (SDA). A dataset of 500 records with 11 variables was utilized, including maternal age, gestational age, hypertension, hemoglobin, glucose levels, delivery history, fetal position, Cephalopelvic Disproportion (CPD), premature rupture of membranes (PROM), oligohydramnios, and estimated fetal weight (EFW). The C4.5 algorithm demonstrated 92% accuracy in predicting delivery methods, with a precision of 75%, indicating its ability to correctly identify necessary C-Sections. Furthermore, it achieved a recall of 100%, reflecting its effectiveness in identifying all actual C-Section cases. The rule tree analysis highlighted delivery history as the primary determinant in selecting the delivery method. These findings are expected to support medical decision-making processes regarding delivery methods and improve the management of high C-Section rates.

Abstract

The increasing population is followed by a rise in waste production, both organic and inorganic. A preliminary survey showed that households generate a large amount of organic waste that has not been properly processed. The community tends to dispose of waste at landfills and then burn it. The aim of this activity is to implement the Eco-Friendly Project by converting organic waste into eco-enzyme in Kemuning Lor Village, Jember Regency. The target participants of this community service activity are members of the PKK, health cadres, youth groups, and village officials. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding, and they were able to independently produce eco-enzyme from organic waste. It is recommended that continuous activities be conducted to provide health education to the community, and that the results of this community service activity be disseminated widely to the public.
