Abstract

Artikel ini membahas jenis kelamin dan bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan pada siswa yang terjadi di sekolah menggunakan teknik meta analisis. Studi meta analisis ini sebatas membuat tabulasi data dengan menghitung jumlah persentase. Sampel data dalam studi ini mencakup 8 artikel dengan variabel dependen yang sama yang terbit mulai tahun 2001 sampai dengan 2011. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan jika jenis kelamin laki-laki bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang paling sedikit dilakukan adalah menggunakan istilah-istilah tabu sebanyak 4%. Bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan paling banyak adalah membandingkan manusia dengan hewan yang dianggap negatif sebanyak 13,2%. Adapun jenis kelamin perempuan bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang paling sedikit dilakukan adalah menggunakan istilah-istilah tabu sebanyak 1,8% sedangkan bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang paling banyak dilakukan adalah julukan atau sapaan yang diambil dari karakter fisik sebanyak 15,8%.

Abstract

As a language with agglutinative morphology type, Indonesian has not shown serious firmness in various morphological cases, especially valency mechanism caused by morphology + verb process. To deeply dissect the valency mechanism, especially inflected verbs in Indonesian, a qualitative method with descriptive type is used with agih (distributional) method and direct element sharing technique to analyze the data. The results of this study show the existence of valency mechanisms in the form of inflected verbs in Indonesian, namely (1) valency increase in the causative morphological structure with {meN-kan} marker, (2) valency increase in the benefactive applicative structure with {di-kan} marker, (3) valency increase in the locative applicative structure with {meN-i} marker, (4) valency decrease in the ergative sentence structure with morphological cases {ter-}, {ke-an}, and {∅}. This study shows various valency mechanisms that are dominant in inflected verbs even though in some cases they appear in ergative forms that do not have markers.

Abstract

This is a True Experiment study by using Posttest Only Control Group Design with the title "The Influence of Mind Mapping Method Implementation on the learning outcomes of Social Science Class in State Junior High School 6 Purwokerto Grade VIII". This study aims to determine the effect of applying the mind mapping method to the learning outcomes of Social Science Class. Population used in this research is grade VIII in SMP N 6 Purwokerto. The sample taken in this research is class VIII D as experimental class with 35 students and class VIII E as control class with 34 students. Besides, the sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. This research shows that there is influence of the application of mind mapping method in the learning outcomes of Social Science Class in grade VII in State Junior High School 6 Purwokerto. The student's achiement using the mind mapping method is higher than using the lecturing method. The results of data analysis using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 16 for windows software shows the average value obtained by the experimental class is 80,2 while the control class is 72,4. Mind mapping learning is proved effective to improve student learning achievement. The influence of mind mapping learning method to learning result is marked by t count > t table that is 3,958 > 1,980 and mean of experiment class value is higher than control class that is 80,2 > 72,4. The implication of this research is to improve the learning result of social science class, the teacher is expected to apply the mind mapping method in IPS learning to improve the learning outcomes and hopefully can provide enough tools and materials for making mind map.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' interest in writing and participation in learning activities related to direct and indirect sentence materials by utilizing the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) model supported by Pakalating media. The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted over two cycles, with each cycle comprising two sessions. The study was carried out in the fifth-grade class of SDN 2 Mayonglor. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using a combination of quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students' interest in writing. The questionnaire results indicate that the average percentage of students' interest in writing increased from 35.9% in the first cycle to 81.5% in the second cycle. Similarly, observations of student learning activities show an increase from an average of 68% in the first cycle to 92.2% in the second cycle. These results highlight the effectiveness of the STAD model combined with Pakalating media in fostering enthusiasm, motivating students, and significantly enhancing their interest in writing.

Abstract

Bahasa memiliki peran penting dalam proses konseling. Diakui atau tidak, salah satu faktor keberhasilan konseling ditentukan oleh ketepatan pemilihan bahasa seorang konselor. Melalui bahasa, pesan yang ingin disampaikan konselor akan diterima oleh klien, begitu sebaliknya. Maka dari itu, perlu adanya strategi pemilihan bahasa agar konseling menjadi efektif. Tindak tutur santun sebagai strategi pemilihan bahasa untuk komunikasi konseling yang efektif sangat tepat. Terdapat tiga kaidah yang harus dipatuhi agar tuturan memiliki ciri santun. Ketiga kaidah itu yakni formalitas (formality), ketidaktegasan (hesitancy), dan kesamaan atau kesekawanan (equality). Intinya, dalam kaidah pertama terkandung maksud tuturan hendaknya harus bersifat formal, jangan terkesan memaksa, dan jangan terkesan angkuh. Pada kaidah kedua, terkandung makna agar penutur memberikan pilihan kepada mitra tutur, jangan terlalu tegas, atau bahkan bersifat kaku dalam bertutur, sedangkan pada kaidah ketiga terkandung makna agar penutur memperlakukan mitra tutur sebagai teman penutur. Sebagai seorang teman, si mitra tutur haruslah dapat merasa aman, sama, dan sejajar dengan si penutur. Penutur adalah konselor sedangkan mitra tutur adalah klien. Jadi, melalui pemilihan kaidah-kaidah dalam tindak tutur santun dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pemilihan bahasa untuk komunikasi konselor yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the information representation and the role of e-news media on bullying cases of students with learning difficulties or called slow learners in e-news media. This research uses qualitative research through content analysis. The object of the research is e-news about bullying cases by two teachers in a school in Medan and bullying cases by several students in a school in Semarang, on detik.com and kompas.com. The results showed that the representation of information about bullying on students with learning difficulties in schools included information about the beginning of viral cases on social media, personal experiences, negative impact on victims of bullying, the results of investigations of various related parties, consequences for perpetrators of bullying, information containing support for victims of bullying, policies and programs to prevent bullying, information containing education for the public, information in order to build awareness and solidarity and action of the anti-bullying movement. These representations of information illustrate that e-news media do not only present news in the sense of reporting a case, but also support information literacy by providing understanding, concern and awareness of bullying cases. Meanwhile, e-news media have played a role in disseminating information, conducting anti-bullying campaigns, creating an open culture in discussing cases of bullying in the public sphere, providing education, building public awareness and solidarity in bullying prevention actions, providing advocacy, intervention and collecting feedback from the public on policies and implementation of the anti-bullying movement. In the end, e-news media is expected to be able to participate in the bullying prevention movement in schools.

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the function of politeness utterances used by nursemaid increating the character of street children in the Children Nations Shelter (RSAB)Soegijapranata Social Foundation (YSS) Semarang. This research is a qualitative descriptivestudy which designed with pragmatic approach triggered by Leech (1983) by basing its analysisfooting on the language functions (language functions) expressed concretely in speech acts. Theapproach is focused on the analysis of the utterances situation goal-oriented, linking a set ofprinciples conversation with their functions. The results of this study indicate nursemaidutterances who obey the principles of politeness of feeling maxim, kindness maxim, permissionmaxim, humility maxim, agreement maxim, and sympathy maxim have function as a tool increating the character of the street children who relate with themselves in relation to others, Adversity Quotient (Intellectual Quotient, Emotional Quotient, and spiritual quotient), the ation and state in relation to the world, and to the Almighty God

Abstract

This study aims tol improve studentl learning outcomesl by using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model assisted by Pop-up Book media in the Pancasila Education subject in class V of SDN 1 Panjang. This type of research uses a classroom action research method with 24 students as research subjects. There are 2 cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques in thisl study include interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. This study uses the expert judgment validation type which includes validation by material experts and media experts to test the truth of the instruments used in the study. The student's score before the study was less than the KKTP, which was 70. After the study was conducted, there wasl an increase in cycle I, namely 75% tol 83.5% in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk campur kode dalam lirik lagu pop Jawa karya Denny Caknan (2) mendeskripsikan fungsi campur kode dalam lirik lagu pop Jawa karya Denny Caknan. Pemilihan sumber data penelitian menggunakan akun Youtube Denny Caknan dikarenakan dalam akun Youtube tersebut terdapat lirik lagu atau karya Denny Caknan yang diunggah di media sosial. Dalam peneliti memfokuskan bentuk dan fungsi campur kode dalam teori Seowito (1995). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman (1984) yang memiliki beberapa tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penegasan kesimpulan atau vertifikasi dan penyajian data. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik informal. Hasil penelitian bentuk campur kode dan fungsi campur kode dalam lirik lagu pop Jawa karya Denny Caknan didapati penyisispan campur kode dalam bentuk kata, frasa, klausa dan perulangan. Fungsi campur kode yang digunakan adalah untuk menegaskan suatu maksut tertentu, untuk menunjukan identitas diri dan pengaruh terhadap persoalan yang dibicarakan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using padlet media in beginner-level BIPA learning. This type of research is experimental. The research sample for this study was BIPA students at Muria Kudus University, totaling 27 people. The data in this study are the results of BIPA learning using Padlet media. Data analysis techniques at this stage used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that Padlet media was effectively used in learning beginner-level BIPA at Muria Kudus University. Students' beginner-level BIPA learning outcomes improved by using Padlet media compared to before using the media. Padlet Media provides feedback, information exchange, and portfolio documentation for learning implementation.
