Abstract

Kasatker Disinfolata (Navy Information and Data Processing Service) is an institution in the Indonesian Armed Forces engaged in the field of information and data processing. This institution is a professional supervisor of personnel who handle information and data processing. As an adviser for the infolahta profession, the task is to plan, prepare, implement, control and evaluate the assignment of infolahta professional personnel. In realizing consistency in control of the infolahta profession within the Indonesian Navy, it is necessary to reform and organize the infolahta profession personnel in the form of personnel coaching. The problem that will be faced at this time is that there is no data that states the infolahta profession. To support these needs requires a decision support system to facilitate the determination of infolahta profession soldiers. For research using the Profile Matching method as a decision support system. Based on three criteria, namely general education, service in infolahta and military education in terms of Specialist Development Education (Dikbangspes). From the results of this study resulted in a form in the form of personnel recommendations with the highest value from each profile target

Abstract

Penyebaran COVID-19 sangat cepat yang membuat pada tanggal 27 Februrari 2020, sudah menginfeksi 78630 orang di China dan 2747 orang lainnya meninggal dunia. Keberadaan COVID-19 di Indonesia sendiri pertama kali terkonfirmasi pada tanggal 2 Maret 2020. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan melakukan peramalan penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia menggunakan metode Random Forest Regression. Raw Dataset yang digunakan adalah dataset yang di dapat dari situs www.kaggle.com yang berisikan record sebanyak 10695 record yang dirangkum dari tanggal 1 Maret 2020 hingga 21 Januari 2021. Jumlah fitur yang dimiliki raw dataset sebanyak 37 fitur. Proses preprocessing pada penelitian ini terdiri dari konversi fitur, seleksi fitur dan mendapatkan fitur untuk model. Metode seleksi fitur yang digunakan adalah Recursive Feature Elimination yang berhasil menyeleksi fitur dari dataset yang tadinya berjumlah 37 menjadi 20 fitur. Pelatihan model menggunakan training set yang berjumlah 8555 record. Peramalan menggunakan model Random Forest Regression akan menggunakan validation set yang berjumlah 2139 record. Hasil perhitungan error pada model Random Forest Regression tidak besar, yaitu sebesar 6.477 untuk peramalan New Cases, dan 0.2469 untuk peramalan New Deaths  yang artinya hasil nilai yang diramalkan dengan nilai aktual tidak berbeda jauh.

Abstract

Pengolahan informasi sebagai bentuk dari pengembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat adalah pengenalan tulisan tangan. Pengenalan tulisan tangan saat ini banyak diimplementasikan untuk melakukan identifikasi dokumen-dokumen penting berbentuk digital. Pengenalan tulisan tangan cetak dengan benar dan akurat dapat digunakan untuk menunjang kegiatan manusia baik dalam kegiatan sehari – hari, sekolah, maupun pekerjaan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan melakukan pengenalan tulisan tangan cetak menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network pada perangkat mobile. Penelitian juga akan mengimplementasikan model CNN yang dihasilkan pada android dan mengidentifikasi tulisan tangan yang diambil secara langsung menggunakan kamera. Proses pelatihan menggunakan library tensorflow pada bahasa pemrograman python, dilakukan secara online. Model CNN berhasil dibentuk dengan jumlah 11 hidden layer, terdiri dari 5 lapisan konvolusi, 3 lapisan max pooling, 1 lapisan flatten, dan 2 lapisan fully connected. Model mengambil masukan berupa citra berukuran 28 x 28 piksel dan menghasilkan keluaran berupa pengenalan tulisan tangan cetak. Total parameter bobot yang dimiliki oleh model berjumlah 1.556.495 variabel. Model CNN yang sudah dilatih berhasil diimplementasikan dan dijalankan pada aplikasi android. Berdasarkan perhitungan Global Performance Metric, Aplikasi berhasil mengenali citra tulisan tangan 1 kata dengan akurasi 82,12%. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mengenali tulisan tangan cetak dengan akurasi tinggi pada perangkat android.

Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 or coronavirus disease is the cause of the world pandemic in 2019 (Adnan et al., 2020). In its development, SARS-CoV-2 has occurred mutations, resulting in the emergence of several new variants (Hartono and Yusuf, 2021). One of the efforts made to determine the occurrence of mutations is to build and analyze phylogenetic tree (van Dorp et al., 2020). ORF3a protein is one of the constituent genes of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Ahmad et al., 2022). The dataset was obtained through a database that has been publicly published on the NCBI website (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/). The data used are homo sapiens from China (Wu et al., 2020), USA (Daniel et al., 2020), France (Shannon et al., 2020), Indonesia (Rantam et al., 2021), Australia (Caly et al., 2020), and Mexico (Mendoza-Salazar et al., 2022). The phylogenetic tree was constructed using the Neighbor-Joining method. The result is ORF3a from Mexico and France are closely related. ORF3a from Mexico and France have the same level of distance and similarity with ORF3a from China and ORF3a from Indonesia have proximity to ORF3a USA.

Abstract

Tafsir is a discipline in the study of the Qur'an which aims to understand the meaning and messages contained in the holy verses. One of the interpretation approaches that has been developed by the Mu'tazilah school of thought is the Mu'tazilah interpretation method. This method focuses on the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an related to aqidah, namely beliefs in Islam. The purpose of this study is to dig deeper into the Mu'tazilah's method of interpretation of the verses of the Aqeedah, and to understand the main views used by Mu'tazilah scholars in their interpretation. Through a qualitative approach and literature analysis, this research involves an extensive literature study on the works and important views of Mu'tazilah scholars. The Mu'tazilah interpretation method emphasizes rationality and logic in the interpretation of aqidah verses. The Mu'tazilah scholars use a common sense approach, think critically, and reason logically to deal with the theological problems contained in these verses. They try to combine religious principles with those of philosophy and rationality. The results of this study reveal that the Mu'tazilah interpretation method of the verses of aqidah includes several main principles, such as the theory of God's justice, human freedom, rejection of absolute destiny, and the oneness of God. Mu'tazilah scholars also use linguistic approaches and historical contexts to understand the meaning of these verses. This study also highlights the influence and relevance of the Mu'tazilah interpretation method in the contemporary context. By understanding the Mu'tazilah interpretation method, readers can explore the thoughts and approaches used by the Mu'tazilah school in understanding the verses of the Aqeedah. This provides valuable insight into understanding the differences and variations in the exegesis of the Qur'an, as well as contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of aqeedah in Islam

Abstract

The person’s retina has its uniqueness that can be used as biometric recognition. The use of the retina as a marking feature in biometrics is more accurate in making calls, verification, and authentication. Retinal biometric characteristics are unique and difficult to manipulate, thus making the retinal biometric system one of the most reliable biometrics compared to other biometric characteristics. The retinal biometric system can be formed using extracted retinal vessels. The difficulty in extracting retinal vessels is a characteristic of retinal vessels. itself includes (central artery, central branch artery, central vein and central branch vein), the ratio of the thickness ratio between the different retinal arteries and veins (2:3), the location of the retinal artery and vein and the color. This complexity often results in errors in the retinal blood vessel extraction process, where not all blood vessel objects can be extracted properly which can reduce the accuracy of the retinal biometric system. This study will address the problem of extracting retinal vessels by proposing the use of an extraction method to produce truly unique retinal features to be included in the retinal biometric system by tracing all branches of the retinal vessels (consisting of: bifurcation, trifurcation and crossover). ). The accuracy results show that 99.81% of the images were correctly detected. The blood pattern is obtained by doing extraction which includes the preprocessing stage and is continued by doing the blood extraction stage. This pattern extraction result is used as a unique pattern to be included in the feature vector of the biometric system in identifying person based on the retina.

Abstract

Stunting adalah gangguan tumbuh-kembang anak akibat kekurangan gizi kronis dan infeksi berulang, sehingga tinggi badan kurang dari standar dan perkembangan otak terganggu. Penyebabnya adalah faktor sosial-ekonomi (kemiskinan), pendidikan, pengetahuan tentang makanan dan kecukupan ASI, serta kurangnya protein hewani dalam makanan pendamping ASI (MPASI), setta faktor sosio-budaya dan penyakit lainnya. Kasus stunting di Kabupaten Lombok Utara (KLU) khususnya di Kecamatan Bayan cukup tinggi disebabkan asupan kalori yang tidak adekuat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) tentang manajemen reproduksi dalam pengembangan kambing perah dengan tujuan menciptakan ketercukupan protein hewani asal susu untuk mencegah meningkatnya kasus stunting di KLU. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan partisipatif dan inovatif melalui penyuluhan dan diskusi dengan khalayak sasaran kelompok peternak dan masyarakat di Desa Pemenang Barat. Materi yang disuluhkan adalah cara pemilihan calon induk kambing perah yang baik, teknik perkawinan yang benar, manajemen induk bunting (kandang, pakan, penanganan kelahiran), waktu dan teknik memerah, serta penanganan air susu hasil pemerahan. Hasail kegiatan menunjukkan, PkM berjalan baik dan lancar, dimana peserta sangat tertarik dengan solusi pemecahan masalah stunting yang disuluhkan. Peserta telah memperoleh pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan tentang manajemen reproduksi kambing perah yang baik dan benar. Mereka berharap dapat memperoleh anak kambing yang sehat dengan produksi air susu yang optimal guna meningkatkan ketercukupan protein hewani, terutama untuk ibu hamil dan bayi di bawah tiga tahun (balita) dalam 1000 hari kehidupannya. Hasil evalusi menunjukkan, pelaksanaan PkM cukup berhasil terlihat dari dukungan, sambutan dan antusiasme peserta penyuluhan yang cukup baik saat diskusi, tidak ditemukan faktor penghambat yang berarti.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) Batch VII of STIBA Makassar in Kurusumange Village, Maros Regency, is a form of field-based academic activity aimed at implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Observing the reality of the community with minimal religious guidance, this study aims to examine how students contribute to society through religious programs carried out during the KKN period. The method for implementing the service program began with mapping community problems and needs using SOAR Analysis. Subsequently, work programs were designed based on the community's needs. From the analysis conducted, several religious activities were formulated, including Social Services (BAKSOS), the Pious Children Festival, Short-Term Islamic Boarding School Programs, Muslimah Study Circles, Teaching Quranic Education Centers (TPA/TPQ), Funeral Management Training, Weekend Tahfiz, DIROSA (Adult Quranic Education) Teaching, and other activities. It can be concluded that these activities positively impacted the Kurusumange Village community, particularly in religious aspects, aligning with the objectives set for the KKN program.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the motivation of new students in choosing the economics education study program at the teaching and educational sciences faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Sampit. This research is research ex post facto which is research revealing facts based on measuring symptoms that already existed in respondents before this research was conducted.  In this research, respondents were determined using the method Purposive Sampling. The respondent criteria used are as: (1) the respondent is a student of the 2024 FKIP UMSA economics follows education study program, (2) the respondent has completed the KRS for semester 1. With this method, 3 respondents were obtained and 1 informant as reinforcement data validity. The data collection technique used was oral interviews. Next, the data is processed by: (a) reducing the data, (b) presenting the data and (c) drawing conclusions.  The results of this research show that the motivation of new students in choosing an economics education study program consists of internal and external motivation. Internal motivation is due to intuition/feelings covering 1 person and external motivation is due to broad job prospects as many as 2 people.

Abstract

Inflation is a crucial economic indicator, and its growth rate is always aimed to be low and stable to prevent macroeconomic disruptions that might lead to economic instability. Considering the significant impact it can have, predicting future inflation values is essential. This study focuses on forecasting inflation, particularly in the province of West Java, using the ARIMA, Linear Regression, and Triple Exponential Smoothing methods. The goal is to find the method that yields the lowest error to ensure more accurate forecasting results. The research employs inflation data from June 2009 to May 2023 in West Java, collected from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of West Java Province. The study involves several stages: (1) collecting inflation data, (2) preprocessing the data, (3) constructing forecasting models and obtaining results, and (4) comparing accuracy outcomes. After comparing the methods, it was found that the Triple Exponential Smoothing method emerged as the most effective one. This method exhibited the lowest error evaluation, with an RMSE value of 0.1719703, indicating good accuracy and suitability for forecasting inflation values in the province of West Java for the future
