Abstract

Smartphone is one of the highest in demand human needs nowadays, and especially in Indonesia, Samsung is one of the largest companies that feed the needs of the market. There are a number of Smartphone brands that existed in the market, the basic reason why people buy Smartphone are the same, but the real question, which is why people choose to buy Samsung while the rest purchase other brand is going to be elaborated in this research. The objectives of this research are to analyze the personal factors influencing the purchasing behavior of Samsung Smartphone in Manado and identify factors that have dominant effect on personal factors influencing the purchasing behavior of Samsung Smartphone in Manado. To achieve these objectives, the Associative method is utilized to derive the association between two variables or more with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis as the tool. After an examination of 100 respondents the result of the research shows Personal factors which are Age and Life Stage, Occupation, Lifestyle, and Personality. Personality has a significant effect in the purchase of Samsung Smartphone in Manado. This research indicated that the personal factors influence the purchase of Samsung Smartphone in Manado. Therefore, Samsung should be considering a strategy to maintain company’s performance. Keywords: age and life stage, occupation, lifestyle, personality, purchasing decision.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was held in Manado as a developing city in Indonesia. The populations in this research are all the buyer Asus laptop in Manado with sample size of this research is 100 respondents. Importance and Performance Analysis were used to analyze the twelve indicators in this research. The results of this research show Durability is located in quadrant I “Concentrate Here” (high importance, low performance), Quality, Convenience, Appropriateness, Good fit, and Easy of Care are located in quadrant II “Keep up the good work”(high importance, high performance), Price, Color, Attractiveness and Style are located in quadrant III “Low Priority”(low importance, low performance), and Fashion and Brand Name are located in quadrant IV “Possible Overkill”(low importance, high performance). the company of laptop Asus should be maintain the durability of battery life so the consumer can used the laptop longer and make more color options, make the new style of the laptop, and the price of laptop is affordable so the consumer attracted to buy laptop Asus. ­­Keywords: product attributes, asus laptop, importance and performance analysis

Abstract

The high number of imported product sales have made foreign companies became more interested to enter Indonesia’s market, including the Etude House cosmetic producst. In order to maintain the existence of the company, a strong brand equity should be built. Aaker’s brand equity theory is used in this research, involving brand loyalty, brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand association. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of brand equity on consumer purchase intention. The data collection method used the non probability convenient sampling technique. A sample of 100 questionnaires were distributed to the customer of Etude House in Manado, and multiple regression analysis was used.Previous research from Jalivand, Samiei & Mahdavinia (2011) proves that all the elements of brand equity has a significant influence on consumer purchase intention in automobile industry. The findings of this research shows that simultaneously all the elements of brand equity has a strong influence on customer purchase intention. While partially only perceived quality and brand association influence customer purchase intention, whereas brand loyalty and brand awareness does not have any significant influence on customer purchase intention. Thus, Etude House should build a good relation with the customer to create strong brand loyalty and improve the product’s design to be more attractive and easy to remember by the customers. Abstract

Abstract: In an organization, a change is needed. An organization capable of facing change can be referred to as a developing organization. One of the obstacles in the organization is resistance to change. Resistance in an organization has a negative impact on running the changes, because with resistance attitudes, a person will reject changes and will not experience changes or progress in the organization. In this research, there are 20 variables that defined as factors that influence employee resistance at Lotus Resort. The analysis and discussion from this research there are 13 variables that correlated with the factor that already conducted. The findings from the factoring process there are 3 factors that influence employee resistance at Lotus Resort. First factor is Trust In Management with 9 independent variables (Fear Of Loss Of Job, Uncertainty, Leadership Style, Regulations By Government, Trust In Management, Rumors, Structural Inertia, Decision Making Process and Self Development). Second factor is The Ability Of The Change Agent with 4 independent variables (Time, Ability Of The Change Agent, Organizational Structure and Relationship With The Colleagues). Third factor is Poor Communication with 2 independent variables (Poor Communication and Capability Of Employees). Where the research shows that Trust In Management, Ability Of The Change Agent and Poor Communication are contributing factor in affecting the resistance. Keywords: Employee Resistance, Organizational Change, Confirmatory Factor Analysis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu indikator yang penting dalam suatu perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kemajuan perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan, disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian melalui uji t variabel pelatihan dan disiplin berhubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan variabel komitmen berhubungan negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. perusahaan perlu memperhatikan pelatihan dan disiplin kerja di dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasional perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dari perusahaan tersebut dan perusahaan PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia agar karyawan lebih meninggkatkan komitmennya dalam perusahaan atau berorganisasi agar kedepannya karyawan-karyawan dapat setia dalam tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai anggota organisasi, berhubungan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan variabel komitmen organisasi belum memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: pelatihan, disiplin,komitmen, kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Abstrak : Citra Rumah Makan yang sudah terbentuk di mata masyarakat sebagai tempat yang enak dan santai untuk menikmati menu atau hidangan yang tersedia. Persaingan yang ketat menyebabkan suatu restoran perlu melakukan usaha pelayanan terbaik kepada konsumennya. Hal ini menyebabkan restoran–restoran yang ada saling berlomba untuk menyediakan kemudahan dan kelengkapan produk yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen untuk tercapainya kepuasan konsumen. Perusahaan harus berusaha keras mempelajari dan memahami kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumennya melalui kualitas pelayanan, harga, kualitas produk harus dipertahankan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Kualitas Pelayanan, Harga dan Kualitas Produk Terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen Pada Rumah Makan Raja Oci Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan dilaksanakan di Rumah Makan Raja Oci Manado pada bulan Juli - November 2018. Populasi penelitian yaitu 9045, dengan sampel 100 responden yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner dan  analisis mempergunakan aplikasi komputer dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, harga dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada rumah makan Raja Oci Manado. Rumah Makan Raja Oci sebaiknya tetap mempertahankan semua kualitas pelayanan, harga dan kualitas produk yang ada agar dapat selalu diterima dikalangan masyarakat dan bisa saling menguntungkan bagi pihak rumah makan. Kata Kunci: kualitas pelayanan, harga, kualitas produk, kepuasan konsumen

Abstract:  The success of a football club will not be separated from the role of fanatical fans who have always supported in each of their matches Whatever type of items associated with the club favourites would definitely be collected one of them soccer jersey t-shirt, Teams now try to direct their customers through the stores in which they market team related products, author interest to explore the condition that drive the customers purchase intention of the sport product in sports station Manado. This research Analysing Factors That Drive Customers Purchase Intention of Licensed Team Merchandise Sports Station Manado with 100 respondents are contributed and the Factor Analysis method is used in this research. There are four main findings in this research, which are: The first conclude component in this research is Brands; The second conclude component in this research is the Customer Loyalty; The Third conclude component in this research is Perceived Relative Price; The last conclude component in this research is Atmosphere. There are also nine recommendations that can be drawn in this research, which are, Product Variety, Product Quality, Product Packaging, Satisfaction, Trust, Habit, Perceived Quality, Perceived Value. Keywords: purchase intention, licensed team merchandise, sports, factor analysis

Abstract

Turnover is commonly problem faced in PT. Kawanua Dasa Pratama (Freshmart Superstore) Manado. Turnover intention comes up as a plan to quit from company. Most of the turnover brought an adverse influence on the organization, both in terms of cost and in loss of time and chance to take advantage of opportunities. High job satisfaction and organizational commitment will reduce employee turnover intention rates from company. This research aims to find out how job satisfaction and organizational commitment can affect the turnover intention of employee in PT. Kawanua Dasa Pratama (Freshmart Superstore) Manado. Multiple regressions model is used to answer the research problem. The total sample for this research is 100 employees, and questionnaire had been using to obtain the information. The research findings show that the independent variable job satisfaction and organizational commitment had a negative significant influence to employee turnover intention simultaneously and partially. The management of Freshmart Superstore Manado may consider about the satisfaction of employees, such as the salary, promotion, and also appreciation for their work.
