Abstract

This research is motivated by the people in Indonesia which consist of various ethnic groups and cultures, each of which has a regional language. This will cause the Indonesian language to receive influence from regional languages, including Sundanese. Like the students of Madrasah Tsanawiah Mathla ul Anwar Banten who use two languages, namely Sundanese as the first language and Indonesian as the second language. The Indonesian language they use is only in learning situations at school, while in their surroundings they use Sundanese as their daily language. Of course the Indonesian they use, especially when students communicate verbally, is still influenced by Sundanese. The problem that the writer examines in this research is the students' oral style, namely how the form of Sundanese phonological interference to Indonesian and the factors causing phonological interference. The method used in this research is descriptive method and research techniques are used to complement this method with literature and recording techniques. The results of the recordings are then made transcript and then interpret the errors, analyze the errors found, and interpret the results of the analysis and conclude them. The results showed that there was the addition of the phoneme h, the replacement of the phoneme f to p, the replacement of the phoneme a to e, the replacement of the phoneme i to e, the replacement of the diphthong au to o, the elimination of the phoneme e, the removal of the phoneme h As for the factors that cause interference by speakers include: bilingualism, lack of loyalty to Indonesian language users, and eliminating rarely used vocabulary.

Abstract

This research is motivated to create a pleasant learning atmosphere or situation and create a productive learning process and change the teaching paradigm into learning, with this change the educational process into a process of how to learn together between teachers and learners and apply the right learning methods. Based on the results of the initial survey conducted by researchers showed that the quality of writing learning in Indonesian subjects in class XI students has not reached the minimum completion criteria (KKM) limit, this can be seen from the results of writing test scores that have not reached the target and the average grades of students obtained during the paragraph or essay writing test. In accordance with the development of science and technology have also emerged several new learning methods that are breakthroughs such as quantum writing methods in writing essays. This research uses action research methods focused on classroom situations, commonly known as classroom action research. Data collection techniques that are carried out include observations / observations, namely activities carried out by researchers and collaborators to observe students in Indonesian learning. As for the results of recapitulation of data or grades of students of grade XI IPA 3 in writing exposition essays using quantum writing models in cycle I obtained an average of 74 and cycle II obtains an average score of 79, with the minimum completion criteria specified by the basic competence of writing exposition which is 78. So the target of achievement of the goal in the writing skills of the exposition essay is 90% achieved or successful means that students are able to write well.

Abstract

This study examines the deixis phenomenon in the novel Si Anak Strong by Tere Liye by using a pragmatic study. One of the reasons the author examines the novel Si Anak Strong as the object of research, is because it has various forms of deixis and has its own characteristics, making it interesting to study. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, namely a description of a situation that takes place not only collecting data but also analyzing, interpreting, and concluding. Based on the results and discussion of research that has been carried out on data from sentences in the dialogue of Tere Liye's novel Si Anak Strong containing deixis, it is found that there are forms of person deixis, space/place deixis, and time deixis. In this regard, the researchers used the results of the research as teaching materials for learning Indonesian Language and Literature at the XII grade high school level by referring to the 2013 revised 2017 curriculum syllabus. In addition, the researchers used novels as teaching materials for Indonesian Language and Literature learning in high school from grade level. XII in improving language skills.

Abstract

Analysis of language errors is a process of investigating the use of language in both speech and writing. Analysis of language errors can be carried out by analyzing in the areas of refined spelling errors, word formation and choice errors, sentence construction errors, paragraph errors and discourse errors. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe language errors at the syntactic level in outdoor media in zone five Pandeglang district. In addition to the research objectives above, the authors also make efforts to find improvements so that they can obtain common understanding and views so as to avoid misinterpretation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research was conducted based on observations of places with outdoor media in the Pandeglang district, namely the districts of Menes, Patia, Sukaresmi, Panimbang, and Labuan. Concrete steps in this research include collecting error samples, identifying errors, explaining errors, classifying types of errors, analyzing errors, and evaluating errors. As for the results obtained in general, there are errors in writing words in phrases, mistakes in writing foreign words in phrases, and ambiguity errors in phrases.
