Abstract

Background: Information governance plays a central role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance in public institutions. In the context of public administration, particularly in Indonesia, the implementation of information governance remains inconsistent, leading to issues such as information disputes and limited access to public data. The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act was established to promote openness; however, its success depends significantly on the maturity level of information governance in public institutions.Objective: This study aims to analyze the maturity level of information governance in public institutions within the Yogyakarta Special Region and to explore the relationship between information governance and the implementation of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act. The assessment framework is based on the maturity model developed by the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA).Methods: A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative data. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and observations involving key informants and respondents, including heads of administrative units, information managers, and records managers. The study was conducted in eight government institutions in the Yogyakarta Special Region.Results: The maturity levels of information governance across the eight institutions vary significantly. They range from sub-standard to in development, essential, and transformational. None of the institutions achieved a fully transformational level. Only the Department of Agriculture attained levels 3 and 4 (essential and transformational) across all eight indicators: accountability, transparency, integrity, protection, compliance, availability, retention, and disposition. Most other institutions remain below the essential standard, especially in accountability and transparency, which are critical components for effective information governance. Furthermore, the study finds a strong interconnection between information governance and freedom of information: effective governance enhances FOI implementation, while the FOI Act positively influences governance practices.Conclusion: The maturity of information governance in public institutions in Yogyakarta remains uneven, with most institutions yet to meet essential standards. Strengthening accountability and transparency should be prioritized. The study concludes that information governance and freedom of information are inherently linked—improving one supports the success of the other. Enhancing information governance is thus essential for realizing the full potential of FOI implementation in public sector institutions.

Abstract

Usaha Gapit Gamoh di Kecamatan Rengel, Kabupaten Tuban, merupakan salah satu pelaku UMKM yang berperan penting dalam peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat melalui produksi camilan tradisional. Namun, usaha ini menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya penjualan akibat belum optimalnya penerapan strategi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan UMKM Gapit Gamoh melalui implementasi strategi digital marketing guna meningkatkan daya saing dan perluasan pasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan mitra secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan, mulai dari observasi kebutuhan, sosialisasi, pelatihan digital marketing, hingga pendampingan dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, serta analisis kuantitatif terhadap peningkatan jangkauan media sosial dan volume penjualan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap kemampuan mitra dalam mengelola media sosial, membuat konten promosi, dan memanfaatkan fitur Instagram Business. Peningkatan ini berdampak langsung pada perluasan pasar hingga ke luar wilayah Tuban serta peningkatan penjualan sebesar 20–25% setelah program berjalan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan digital marketing berbasis partisipatif ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi digital, kepercayaan diri, serta daya saing UMKM secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Sistem informasi memiliki peran penting untuk menyajikan laporan secara akurat dan sistematis. Sistem informasi pengarsipan digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan arsip di kabupaten Bondowoso, khususnya pada Bagian Protokol dan Komunikasi Pimpinan. Sistem ini berbasis web dan menggunakan metode Waterfall yang mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, hingga pengujian. Program PHP dan database MySQL, yang memungkinkan sistem ini mengotomatisasi proses pengarsipan, sehingga mempermudah pencarian, penyimpanan, serta pelaporan arsip dengan cepat dan akurat. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan risiko kerusakan dan kehilangan arsip fisik dapat dikurangi. Antarmuka berbasis web yang diterapkan memungkinkan akses data arsip dari berbagai lokasi dengan lebih mudah, sehingga mendukung kebutuhan operasional Pemkab Bondowoso Bagian Protokol dan Komunikasi Pimpinan  secara optimal.

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri rendah merupakan salah satu masalah yang dialami oleh penerima manfaat di Panti Pelayanan Sosial Taruna Yodha Sukoharjo. Kepercayaan diri yang rendah akan membuat PM kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi dan kurang optimal memanfaatkan potensi yang dimiliki. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri adalah dengan konseling kelompok. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri penerima manfaat di Panti Pelayanan Sosial Taruna Yodha Sukoharjo melalui konseling kelompok. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui 5 tahapan, yaitu koordinasi dan asesmen awal, penentuan subjek sasaran, persiapan, pelaksanaan konseling kelompok dan analisis data. Peserta konseling kelompok adalah 12 orang PM laki-laki, dengan rentang usia ± 14 -19 tahun dan berasal dari peminatan jurusan bengkel, komputer, las dan menjahit. Konseling diberikan sebanyak 1 kali selama 120 menit, terbagi dalam 2 kelompok yang masing-masing diikuti oleh 6 orang PM. Sebelum dan setelah proses konseling tingkat kepercayaan diri peserta diukur dengan skala kepercayaan diri. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri PM di PPS Taruna Yodha Sukoharjo meningkat setelah diberikan konseling kelompok. Dengan demikian konseling kelompok dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri PM dan membantu mengatasi permasalahan psikologis yang lain. Abstract

Minyak Jelantah, used cooking oil that is used repeatedly, has bad impacts on health and the environment. This program aims to increase public awareness of the dangers of using Minyak Jelantah (used cooking oil) and provide skills in making aromatherapy candles. This program involves planning, education, simulation, and evaluation stages. Training participants, specifically Family Welfare and Empowerment Organization (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) women from Tergo Village, were given education about the benefits of aromatherapy candles and practical skills in making candles. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge about the dangers of Minyak Jelantah (used cooking oil) and the benefits of aromatherapy candles. The process of making aromatherapy candles is simple and economical, using ingredients that are easy to find. This program has succeeded in increasing environmental awareness and providing an economical alternative to the use of Minyak Jelantah (used cooking oil). This program is advantageous in reducing environmental pollution and increasing public understanding of health.

Abstract

The research aims to explore how education level and motivation influence the adoption of premarital HIV screening tests in Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency, in 2024, focusing on biological perspectives of HIV. HIV, a virus impacting human immunity by targeting CD4 cells crucial for immune response, underscores the significance of understanding its biological mechanisms to enhance early detection and prevent transmission. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, the study involves 61 mothers of prospective brides and grooms, sampled through accidental selection. Data collection utilizes a questionnaire to gather primary data, analyzed via chi-square tests. Preliminary findings reveal a substantial 63.94% participation rate in premarital HIV screening, with 52.52% having higher education and 63.9% showing high motivation. Bivariate analysis demonstrates a significant correlation between education (p-value = 0.001) and motivation (p-value = 0.000) with the uptake of premarital HIV testing. Emphasizing the role of education and motivation in promoting HIV screening, the study advocates for encouraging prospective couples to undergo testing early. This proactive approach aims to identify and manage potential HIV infections promptly, mitigating further transmission and enhancing overall health outcomes.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi informasi di era globalisasi menjadikan digital marketing sebagai alternatif dalam memasarkan produk. Kemajuan teknologi dan basis pengguna internet yang besar membuat banyak pelaku usaha yang beralih dari teknik pemasaran konvensional ke pemasaran digital dengan memanfaatkan e-commerce. Sebagai salah satu platform e-commerce yang memiliki jangkauan pemasaran cukup besar di Indonesia, Shopee menjadi salah satu peluang untuk UMKM dalam memasarkan dan mengembangkan bisnisnya di era digital. Dengan menggunakan konsep transformasi digital tulisan ini mencoba untuk menjelaskan mengenai bagaimana kampus UMKM Shopee berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam upaya pengembangan pelaku usaha berbasis digital di provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Technological advances and large internet user base have made many business actors decided to switch from conventional marketing techniques to digital marketing by utilizing e-commerce platform. As one of the e-commerce platforms that has a large marketing reach in Indonesia, Shopee is an opportunity for UMKM to develop their business in the digital era. By using the concept of digital marketing, this paper aims to describe how UMKM Shopee campus acts as a facilitator to develop digital-based business actors in the East Kalimantan Province. The presence of UMKM Shopee campus as a training and mentoring service center for local UMKM is a great opportunity for any business actor in marketing and business development in the digital era, especially in East Kalimantan Province.
