Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini sedang berlangsung di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Pendidikan melalui daring atau online di Indonesia, dari PAUD sampai perguruan tinggi, sudah mulai dilakukan pada Bulan Maret 2020. PAUD di Kota Semarang saat ini berkembang dengan cepat dari berbagai skala. Implementasi Teknologi Informasi di bidang pendidikan melalui daring adalah dengan menggunakan media sosial atau Learning Management System (LMS). Whatsapp adalah salah satu media sosial yang sering digunakan dalam pendidikan melalui daring. Penggunaan Whatsapp memunculkan beberapa masalah seperti file tugas tidak bisa diunduh oleh orang tua, terhapus secara tidak sengaja dari gadget guru dan ukuran file yang terlalu besar untuk gadget orang tua/siswa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan dilakukan penyuluhan kepada guru PAUD DABIN I tentang penggunaan Google Classroom sebagai LMS untuk menciptakan proses pembelajaran luring yang tidak monoton dan mengurangi permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada selama menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp.Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic is currently taking place all over the world, including Indonesia. Education through online or online in Indonesia, from PAUD to tertiary institutions, has begun in March 2020. PAUD in Semarang City is currently growing rapidly from various scales. The implementation of Information Technology in the field of education through online is by using social media or the Learning Management System. Whatsapp is one of the social media that is often used in online education. The use of Whatsapp raises several problems such as the assignment file cannot be downloaded by the parents, accidentally deleted from the teacher's gadget and the file size is too large for the parent/student gadget. Community service at this time will be counseling to PAUD DABIN I teachers about using Google Classroom as an LMS to create an offline learning process that is not monotonous and reduces the problems that exist while using the Whatsapp application.

Abstract

In the field of image watermarking, the singular value decomposition has good imperceptibility and robustness, but it has high complexity.  It divides a host image into matrices of U, S, and V. Singular matrix S has been widely used for embedding and extracting watermark, while orthogonal matrices of U and V are used in decomposition and reconstruction. The proposed signum of cosine matrix method is carried out to eliminate the generation of the three matrices at each block and replace it with a signum of cosine matrix. The proposed signum of cosine matrix is performed faster on the decomposition and reconstruction. The image is transformed into a coefficient matrix C using the signum matrix. The C matrix values are closer to the S value of singular value decomposition which can preserve high quality of the watermarked image. The experimental results show that our method is able to produce similar imperceptibility and robustness level of the watermarked image with less computational time.

Abstract

The Sokoguru Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO), with one of its activities which is a place for empowering the communities. After conducting an interview with the foundation managers and a survey of the member of the community, the results show that the ability to do entrepreneurship online is essential for the community. Therefore, the community services’ team provide training for the community about the use of social media, especially using Instagram to do digital marketing.This community service activity methodology uses a Participatory Rural Approach in the form of training and mentoring. The service is carried out in 3 stages: preparation, training and evaluation. Preparation is done by seeking information on material requirements for training. The training stage is carried out using an online system with Zoom Meeting (due to COVID-19 19 pandemic). Next, the training is filled with the presentation from the community service’s team, question and answer and sharing experiences.The result of the evaluation, this service activity adds new knowledge for participants (100%), usefulness (52.6%: very useful, 47.4%: useful). As well as increasing interest in online marketing by 73.7% from the previous 57%. Apart from scientific articles, the output of this activity is in the form of training modules, articles on the Kompas mass media, and video documentation on the YouTube channel.
