Abstract

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has proposed a policy for employees dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic situation since 2020 in the form of a circular containing a work from home policy in order to prevent and control Covid-19 spread at OJK, which was later replaced with Guidelines for Working in the Adaptation Period “New Habits for Employees in OJK”. This policy requires employees to work from home while still paying attention to work-life balance and producing the same high performance as working in an office. The purpose of this study is to fill the gap in investigating potential factors of employee productivity while working from home since the Covid-19 pandemic such as work-life balance and work stress. This study uses a quantitative method with a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and using AMOS application tools. The research sample was 360 respondents with positions ranging from administrative level to Deputy Director in all work units at OJK. The results of this study reveal that working from home, work-life balance, and work stress have a significant influence, either directly or indirectly, on productivity of employees.

Abstract

Research on green entrepreneurship behavior is still leaving questions related to the support against the grand theory that has been already acknowledged by academicians or practitioners. This article serves as a literature review of recent findings related to green entrepreneurship behavior variables reviewed from the underlying theories. Using content analysis from previous research articles, the researchers conducted a study that focused on the underlying theories and antecedents of the green entrepreneurship behavior variable. The article selection process is based on internationally reputed journals published over the past five years (2017-2021), searches on the Science Direct web, using the keywords 'green entrepreneurship', 'sustainable entrepreneurship', 'ecopreneurship', environment entrepreneurship, and 'antecedents'. The results showed that there are various theoretical concepts that can be used to explain and determined the antecedents of green entrepreneurship behavior. This includes psychological, personality traits, and contextual factors that were identified as antecedents of green entrepreneurship behavior. For further research, there are many related issues that can be analyzed, such as the decision-making process to become green entrepreneurs, the implementation of green entrepreneurship practices, etc.

Abstract

Customer incivility in the service industry has been shown to substantially contribute to high employee turnover. However, the underlying psychological mechanism involving sequential mediation, as well as the moderating role of socioeconomic status in this relationship, remains underexplored. This study investigates the sequential mediating roles of emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction in linking customer incivility to turnover intention, while examining socioeconomic status (SES) as a moderating factor. Grounded in Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, data were collected from 219 restaurant employees in Surakarta, Indonesia (with a minimum of 6 months' tenure and direct customer interaction), and analyzed using SPSS Regression and PROCESS Macro to test a comprehensive 12 hypothesis encompassing direct effects, simple mediation, sequential mediation, and moderation. The findings supported all hypotheses: customer incivility significantly increased emotional exhaustion and turnover intention while decreasing job satisfaction. Emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction were found to sequentially mediate the relationship between customer incivility and turnover intention. Additionally, SES significantly moderated this process, with lower-SES employees experiencing higher levels of emotional exhaustion. These results extend COR theory by revealing a stepwise resource depletion mechanism and identifying SES as a critical vulnerability factor. The study offers practical recommendations for proactive organizational interventions, including emotional regulation training, structured peer support, and SES-responsive wellness programs. Future research is encouraged to employ longitudinal designs across diverse service sectors to enhance the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the management capacity of the Manggar Batik SME in Sumber Village, Kradenan District, Blora Regency, through the implementation of a simple accounting system, innovative batik product designs, the use of appropriate technology in the production process, and a digital-based marketing strategy transformation. The background to this activity is the socioeconomic conditions in Blora Regency, which still faces a high poverty rate (11.49% in 2023), limited competitiveness of local batik products, and limited market access for SMEs to consumers outside the region. Program implementation methods include outreach, technical and managerial training, the application of production technology (feeder tools and paper stamp techniques), digital marketing assistance through e-commerce, and sustainability evaluation and follow-up. The program implementation involves strategic collaboration between universities and SME partners through participatory knowledge and technology transfer. The results of the activity show significant improvements in several aspects: a more organized financial recording system, the successful development and registration of innovative batik motif designs for intellectual property rights (IPR), increased production efficiency and consistency through the use of feeder tools, and expanded market reach through digital marketing. The contribution of this activity not only strengthens the competitiveness of the Manggar Batik SME and opens up opportunities to increase local community income, but also supports the achievement of university performance indicators and regional development goals, particularly related to poverty alleviation and the development of a creative economy based on local culture.
