Abstract

The increasing security concerns and urban lifestyle distractions have led to negligence in home security. Consequently, innovative security systems are necessary to automatically assist homeowners in securing their homes. This research addresses this issue by proposing the implementation of an automatic door lock security system through the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol on the NodeMCU ESP32. It aims to integrate existing home security systems with the Internet of Things platform using the Telegram Bot API, focusing particularly on access control for entering and exiting the house. By employing the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) measurement method, this research determined the ideal distance for automatic door locking by the security system. After collecting the data using one device, the researcher tested them nine times at distances ranging from 0 to 2 meters. The results indicated that the system had a detection limit at a distance of 1 meter with a signal strength value of -85 dBm. Additionally, the power consumption of the security device was measured at 1.645 mA, and the average delay time for data transmission from transmitter to receiver reached approximately 2.22 ms. In conclusion, the prototype security system in this research was successfully designed and operated according to its objectives

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi industri 4.0 mendorong kebutuhan pemantauan parameter listrik secara real-time untuk efisiensi energi. Dalam penelitian ini membahas perancangan sistem monitoring arus listrik berbasis mini SCADA menggunakan PLC Haiwell dan sensor PZEM-004T. Sistem ini dirancang untuk membaca dan menampilkan data arus listrik secara real-time menggunakan protokol komunikasi Modbus RTU. Untuk memastikan integrasi dan komunikasi berjalan lancar, perangkat lunak Modbus Poll digunakan sebagai alat bantu pengujian dan pemantauan data. Sensor PZEM-004T untuk mengukur parameter listrik seperti arus, tegangan, daya, dan energi, sementara PLC Haiwell berperan sebagai pengontrol yang mengolah dan meneruskan data ke sistem SCADA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memantau arus listrik secara real-time pada beban handbor dan gerinda dengan akurasi 98%.

Abstract

The need for identification of spice plant species is very important to achieve accuracy levels accurately and efficiently. Previous researchers have demonstrated the success of this CNN method in classifying various spice plant species. However, only three species of Zingiberaceae (also known as ginger) spice plants were studied in this research: ginger, turmeric, and galangal. There has not been much previous research on these plant species. To ensure label accuracy, this study compares the performance of two popular CNN optimizers, Adam and SGD. A dataset of spice plant images obtained from Internet websites was then diagnosed by experts. To prepare for training the CNN model with VGG19, the image data is pre-processed. The pre-trained VGG19 architecture is used as the basis for spice plant classification. The classification accuracy is used to evaluate the performance of the model. The results of the study show that in the classification of spice plants, the use of the pre-trained VGG19 architecture is used, providing research results that also show that the architectural CNN method successfully classifies Zingiberaceae spice plant species. Consistently, the use of Adam's optimizer resulted in higher accuracy than SGD. This suggests that Adam's optimizer may be more effective in optimizing VGG19 model parameters for spice plant classification

Abstract

Salted egg is one of the egg types that has a lot of devotees because it tastes a little salty and savory. Salted eggs are usually homemade in various regions. The easy process of making them has attracted many people to do so. This study developed a PLC-based on automatic system for a salted egg maker using the osmotic pressure method to accelerate the opening of the semi-permeable membrane on duck eggshells so that the salting mixture seeps into the eggs more quickly. It was carried out in an osmotic pool containing water and acetic acid at a concentration of 5%. The data collection process in designing the salted egg maker consisted of evaluating the performance of photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, temperature controller, thermostat set point, baking time, and salted egg durability test. The results of the tests indicated that the time needed to make salted eggs from raw eggs to cooked eggs only took 36 minutes using the machine designed. Additionally, the presented salted egg maker reveals the short making time, and long salted egg durability. altogether revealing full potential to be easily used for practical applications.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia teknologi pada saat ini telah mencapai titik dimana semua aktifitas dapat digantikan oleh mesin, dimana mesin adalah sebagai alat bantu manusia dalam melakukan banyak hal. Untuk membuat sebuah mesin dapat beroperasi secara otomatis dibutuhkan beberapa bagian, diantaranya software, hardware dan mekanik. Pada pelatihan yang di selenggarakan oleh Program studi Teknik elektro ITATS ini adalah dengan membuat sebuah sistem pengatur kecepatan motor menggunakan mikrokontroler. Target pelatihan ini adalah siswa SMK area Surabaya, pelatihan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap, proses pembuatan program, proses memasukkan program dalam mikrokontroler untuk mengatur nyala LED dan mengatur kecepatan motor. Dari hasi pelatihan yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan bahwa siswa SMK mampu membuat sebuah program sederhana untuk mengatur menyalakan lampu LED, mengatur kecepatan motor, dimana untuk kecepatan motor di bagi menjadi tiga, kecepatan lambat, sedang dan kecepatan tinggi. Dari pelatihan ini diharapkan siswa SMK mampu membuat sebuah sistem sederhana menggunakan mikrokontroler untuk membuat sebuah sistem otomatis.
