Abstract

Kumbang tanduk (Oryctes rhinoceros) merupakan salah satu hama tanaman kelapa yang termasuk ke dalam family (Scarabaeidae: Dynastidae) dan ordo Coleoptera. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kepadatan dan komposisi stadia O. rhinoceros di Desa Jerukwangi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah O. rhinoceros yang tedapat di Desa Jerukwangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepadatan tertinggi berada pada plot 2 yaitu 3,307 ind/m2 dengan jumlah 43 ekor dan kepadatan terendah ditemukan pada plot 20 yaitu 0,230 ind/m2dengan jumlah 3 ekor. Komposisi stadia O. rhinoceros yang ditemukan di Desa Jerukwangi diantaranya stadia telur 5,51%, larva 92,28%, pupa 0,67%, dan imago 1,54%. Jumlah komposisi stadia O. rhinoceros paling tinggi adalah stadia larva instar 3 dan jenis-jenis sarang yang paling di sukai imago betina adalah plot-plot yang memiliki berbagai macam tumpukan substrat dimana tumpukan substrat tersebut akan berpengaruh terhadap kandungan bahan organik. Horn beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) is one of the coconut crop pests which belong to the family (Scarabaeidae: Dynastidae) and the order Coleoptera. The purpose of this study was to determine the density and composition of the O. rhinoceros stadia in the Jerukwangi village. The sample in this study is O. rhinoceros artifacts in the Jerukwangi village. The results showed that the highest densities was plot 2 with the density value of 3,307 brood/m2 with 43 indivuduals and the lowest density was found in plot 20 with the density value of 0.230 brood/m2 with 3 individuals. Composition stadia O. rhinoceros 3 individuals found in the Jerukwangi village consist of egg stadia 5.51%, 92.28% larvae, pupae 0.67%, and 1.54% imagos. Total composition of O. rhinoceros stadia was the highest at larval stage instar 3 and the most preferred type nest of adult females are plots with wide variety of substrate stacks where stacks of the substrate will affect the organic matter content.

Abstract

Permintaan udang windu dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan sehingga banyak petambak yang membudidayakan udang jenis tersebut. Sejalan dengan berkembangnya usaha budidaya udang tersebut, terdapat beberapa masalah yang dapat menghambat perkembangan usaha budidaya salah satunya yaitu adanya ektoparasit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis ektoparasit yang terdapat pada udang windu yang dibudidayakan di tambak Desa Langgenharjo Kecamatan Margoyoso Kabupaten Pati. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh udang windu yang dibudidayakan di tambak Desa Langgenharjo dan sampel penelitian ini adalah 10 ekor udang windu yang diambil di dua tambak yang berbeda. Pemeriksaan ektoparasit udang dilakukan di BKIPM Kelas II Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi jenis ektoparasit yang ditemukan adalah 5 jenis ektoparasit yang terdiri dari 4 jenis dari filum protozoa dan 1 jenis dari filum trematoda (monogenea). Hasil total analisis indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman jenis ektoparasit adalah 1,15. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa indeks keanekaragaman jenis dalam keadaan relatif sedang, yaitu ketika komunitas itu disusun oleh sangat sedikit jenis dan hanya sedikit jenis yang dominan. Hasil analisis indeks kemerataan menunjukkan bahwa kemerataan penyebaran individu suatu jenis adalah 0,77. Hal ini menunjukkan keseragaman populasi tinggi berdasarkan kriteria kisaran nilai indeks kemerataan. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pada tambak I nilai dominansi tertinggi adalah Epistylis sp (38,78%) sedangkan pada Tambak II nilai dominansi tertinggi adalah Zoothamnium sp (38,93%). Demand tiger shrimp from year to year increased so many farmers cultivate this shrimp. Along with the development of shrimp farming, are some of the issue can be inhibiting the development of cultivation,that is ectoparasites.The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of ectoparasites found in black tiger shrimp farmed in the Langgenharjo pond Margoyoso Pati Distric . The study population was the whole tiger shrimp farmed in ponds Langgenharjo village and the sample is 10 tiger shrimps taken at two different ponds. Examination of ectoparasites shrimp do in BKIPM Class II Semarang. Based on the results of identification of ectoparasites found in tiger shrimp reared in ponds Langgenharjo village, discovered five types of ectoparasites which consists of 4 types of the phylum protozoa and 1 species of phylum trematodes (monogenea). The total yield of diversity index analysis showed that species diversity of ectoparasites in relative moderate. Results A total of diversity index analysis showed that the diversity operating ectoparasites is 1.15. It shows that the index diversity Relatively moderate circumstances, its mean when the community compiled by Little species and Just a Little species that dominant.Results of the analysis showed that the index of evenness deployment of individuals of a kind is 0,77. This shows a high uniformity of the population based on the criteria of equity index value ranges. The data obtained show that in the first pond is the highest dominance value Epistylis sp (38.78%) while the highest dominance value second pond is Zoothamnium sp (38.93%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Jenis-jenis dan mengukur prevalensi ektoparasit yang menyerang udang vannamei di tambak Desa Langgenharjo Kecamatan Margoyoso, Kabupaten Pati. Pengambilan udang secara acak pada tambak yang di jadikan obyek penelitian pembesaran udang di Desa Langgenharjo. Pemeriksaan ektoparasit udang dilakukan di BKIPM Kelas II Semarang, dengan pengambilan lendir bagian uropod, pleopod, dan abdomen untuk diidentifikasi jenis parasit dan diukur prevalensinya dengan cara menghitung jumlah parasit secara manual. Jenis ektoparasit yang menyerang sampel udang vannamei adalah Epistylis sp, Zoothamnium sp, Vorticella sp, dan Trichodina sp. Diperoleh prevalensi Parasit Epistylis sp adalah 85% (17 ekor yang terinfeksi dari 20 ekor sampel udang vannamei), Zoothamnium sp prevalensinya adalah 50% (10 ekor yang terinfeksi dari 20 ekor sampel udang vannamei), Vorticella sp prevalensinya adalah 60% (12 ekor yang terinfeksi dari 20 ekor sampel udang vannamei), dan Trichodina sp prevalensinya adalah 10% (2 ekor yang terinfeksi dari 20 ekor sampel udang vannamei). Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Jenis parasit yang ditemukan adalah Epistylis sp, Zoothamnium sp, Vorticella sp, dan Trichodina sp. Prevalensi parasit yang terbanyak adalah Epistylis sp yaitu 85%, sedangkan prevalensi parasit yang terendah adalah Trichodina sp yaitu 10%. The purpose of this research is to understand the types and to measure the prevalence of ectoparasites that infecting vannamei shrimp in brackish fishponds in the Langgenharjo village. Shrimp collection was done randomly and selected as the research object. The examination for shrimp ectoparasites was conducted in Fish Quarantine Class II Semarang, by extracting mucus from the uropod, pleopod, and abdomen to identify the types of parasite and its prevalence was then measured by counting manually the presence of the parasites. The types of ectoparasite infect vannamei shrimp sample are Epistylis sp, Zoothamnium sp, Vorticella sp, and Trichodina sp. This research, found that the prevalence of Epistylis sp was 85% (17 shrimps were found to be infected out of a total of 20 vannamei shrimps), Zoothamnium sp has a prevalence of 50% (10 shrimps were found to be infected out of 20 vannamei shrimps), Vorticella sp has a prevalence of 60% (12 shrimps were found to be infected out of 20 vannamei shrimps), and Trichodina sp has a prevalence of 10% (2 shrimps were found to be infected out of 20 samples of vannamei shrimp). It was concluded that the types of parasite found are Epistylis sp, Zoothamnium sp, Vorticella sp, and Trichodina sp. The highest parasite prevalence was Epistylis sp at 85%. In contrast, the lowest parasite prevalence was Trichodina sp at 10%.

Abstract

Kelurahan Cepoko is one of 16 urban villages in Gunungpati sub-district. The source of income of Cepoko village residents is in the field of livestock, as much as 77 residents of Cepoko urban village who rely their life in the field of farms, both chicken farms, dairy cows and meat cows. Dairy cattle breeding activities do not provide sufficient income, because the selling price of milk purchased by cooperatives is too cheap, so it can not cover operational costs. Therefore, one of the citizens of SME RW 09 kelurahan Cepoko that is Ibu Ismiyati took the initiative to make processed foods made from milk. Mrs. Ismiyati as a pioneer of milk sticks production business that is personal with employ 5% of women PKK group. Dairy products that have been done just limited to milk stick. Though dairy products have the potential to be developed in order to increase farmers’ income. One of the obstacles to the development of dairy products is the lack of mastery of information on production and marketing techniques by mothers, the limited knowledge and skills of mothers in the processing of milk into products worth selling, causing dairy products are less varied and not devel- oped. The methods undertaken to improve knowledge on milk-based food production techniques are socialization, training and monitoring. PKK ladies are very enthusiastic to follow the milk process- ing into a variety of food products that are proclaimed with the presence of mothers despite the rain, they still spend time attending training activities. PKK ladies become aware of the diversification of products based , and skilled in processing milk into various foods as well as skilled in the produc- tion manejemn such as kenmas and marketing processed products kamanan Participants want more follow-up is more real in terms of assistance and continuous monitoring and marketing of dairy- based food products broadly and poured in MoU between FMIPA and Gunungpati District

Abstract

Objectives to be achieved in service activities is to foster the spirit of starting a new life for the 5 farmers who suffered catastrophic cold lava flood particular group Livestock quail Tani Mulyo Hamlet Quick Village Gondosuli Muntilan district and 5 breeders are joined in Group Livestock quail Rejeki Hamlet Macanan Banyudono Shaman District. Specific targets are the seeds quail ready to lay that out of 1,000 head of targeted quail egg can produce 75%, assuming a quail egg-laying 1 egg / day, sold at a retail price of Rp. 210, - / point. Results of these activities are still limited availability of seedling 3,690 tails with an average weight increase in the age of 2 weeks 28 grams and 3,450 head at the age of 8 weeks to 167 grams. Egg production reached 86% before the arranged marriage which only reached 66% egg production quail. To foster the spirit of entrepreneurship that is able to think of creative and innovative and able to read the opportunities as well as clever use it in accordance with the capabilities and not focused on just one type of work just the wives of farmers tried to create diversified products made from meat and quail eggs.

Abstract

Perangkat pembelajaran materi pencemaran lingkungan yang terdapat di SMA Negeri 1 SoE masih belum dikembangkan secara baik, menyebabkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menjadi rendah dan menurunnya hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Disebabkan materi pencemaran lingkungan masih bersifat abstrak dan belum mengarah kepada pemahaman konsep. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran bermodelkan example non example berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian Research and Development (RD) dan pengujiannya menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik analisa data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji kevalidan, uji ketuntasan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran bermodelkan example non example meliputi silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), bahan ajar, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan alat evaluasi, yang divalidasi validator ahli untuk mengetahui validitas, reliabilitas perangkat pembelajaran. Untuk memperoleh data pelengkap dikembangkan instrumen yaitu lembar observasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, lembar angket afektif siswa, respon guru dan siswa. Hasil pengembangan pembelajaran bermodelkan example non example yang valid dan inovatif. Pada kelas eksperimen 1 kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik dibandingkan kelas eksperimen 2. Respon guru 92,5% dan siswa 96,16% dengan kriteria baik sekali. Hasil belajar sesuai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) kedua kelas eksperimen, sebesar 77,7% dan 88,8% artinya pembelajaran dilakukan secara tuntas. The lesson plan of environment pollution in SMA Negeri 1 SoE, had been not developed well because environmental pollution especially in the school environment was still abstract and  in teaching learning process did not lead the students to understand the concept of pollution itself .It was the reason why the achievement of X.1 students were still low because the students did not have the critical thinking ability. The objective of  the research is produce instrument learning model example non example oriented on students outcome and critical thinking ability. The research design Research and Development (RD) and  use experimental method. This objective study was to develop a learning model example non example includes syllabus, Lesson Plan, teaching materials, students' worksheet (LKS) and evaluation tools, which have been validated  by a validator experts to determine the validity and reliability of the learning device. To obtain supplementary data developed instruments which are; observation sheet of the students' critical thinking skills, students’ affective questionnaire sheet, teachers and students response. The result of this study showed that example non example model was valid and innovative. In the first experimental class showed that the critical thinking skills better than the second experimental class. Learning modeled example non example also provided a response to the teachers was 92.5% and 96.16% of students with excellent criteria. The result of the study showed that first experimental class gained 77,7% and the second  experimental class gained 88.8%. It means that both classes passed the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM).

Abstract

Beauveria Bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae dan Trichoderma sp. merupakan jamur agensia pengendali hayati, tumbuh seperti bubuk yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan serangga hama dan penyakit tanaman. Pembuatan ketiga jamur tersebut umumnya menggunakan media jagung terpotong kecil-kecil. Setelah media digunakan media menjadi limbah yang biasanya dibuang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengolah media yang sudah pernah digunakan untuk pembiakan jamur, yang berasal dari limbah jagung terpotong kecil-kecil menjadi media baru yang dapat digunakan kembali sebagai media pembiakan jamur. Metode pembiakan dilakukan dengan menambah media bekas pembiakan jamur yaitu limbah jagung pecahan, selanjutnya dikeringkan dan diformulasikan kembali dengan air kelapa dan pupuk. Hasilnya jamur dapat tumbuh lebih baik pada media limbah jagung, karena penambahan nutrisi dari NPK dan air kelapa.

Abstract

The wealth of marine biota species in Indonesia are very diverse, both from bony fish and cartilaginous fish (Elasmobranchii). The Elasmobranchii fish are currently facing an extinction rate problem due to overfishing. Based on the IUCN Red List, 1 shark species is classified as Critically Endangered, 5 shark species are Endangered, 23 sharks species are Vulnerable and 35 other sharks species are in Near Threatened in Indonesia. The research aims to identify, describe the type and conservation status of Elasmobranchii fish caught at TPI Bajomulyo. The research method uses observation and interview techniques. Data were collected from March to April 2020. The determination of the type was analyzed descriptively based on the results of the observed assessment characteristics. The determination of the conservation status used in this research include the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), Indonesian Government Regulation Number 8 Year 1999, Constitution Number 5 Year 1990 and Ministerial Regulation of Environment and Forestry Number P.106 Year 2018. There are 11 species of Elasmobranchii fish found during the research process. These species include Carcharhinus sealei (NT), Chiloscyllium punctatum (NT), Dasyatis kuhlii (DD), Himantura gerrardi (VU), Himantura undulata (VU), Himantura jenkinsii (VU), Pastinachus sephen (NT), Taeniura meyeni (VU), Gymnura poecilura (NT), Rhynchobatus australiae (CR), and Rhina ancylostoma (CR). Based on CITES, there are only 2 species categorized as Appendix II, Rhynchobatus australiae and Rhina ancylostoma. This research provides benefits for fisherman and related agencies to pay attention to catching protected fish so that it is sustainability is maintained.

Abstract

The development of a Problem Based Learning-oriented Movement System module with a Computational Thinking approach to improving students' critical thinking skills is one of the efforts to improve this pedagogic competency. The purpose of this research is to analyze the validation of problem-based learning-oriented motion system modules with a computational thinking approach to improve students' critical thinking skills and analyze the feasibility of problem-based learning-oriented motion system modules with a computational thinking approach to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study used a Research and Development (RnD) design and the technique used was a one-shot case study. The research was conducted at MAN Salatiga with 71 research subjects divided into 2 classes. The results of the study are as follows: (1) the assessment of the material by material experts obtained 85, 67%, and 76.5% with very good and good criteria, and the assessment by media experts obtained 90% and 92.00% with very good criteria so that the media declared valid. The value obtained from students who used the module and then worked on critical thinking questions obtained an average value of 92.69 after being analyzed based on the predetermined Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). KKM value determined namely 75. The test results showed 98.59% of students passed the very high category, So it can be stated that the use of the Movement System module oriented to Problem Based Learning with Computational Thinking is approachable to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Background: Molecular markers (DNA markers) are DNA sequences that are easily detected to characterize or detect certain genetic diversity, one of which is in animals. There are various marker systems used with their respective characteristics. Some of the molecular markers include RFLP, RAPD, ISSR, SSR, and SNP. The purpose of this study was to analyze genetic diversity in animals using molecular marker applications.Methods: The method used is literature review using reputable national and international journals.Results: Based on the results of a literature review, the genetic diversity of various species such as catfish, deer, tilapia, crabs, seahorses, ducks, cattle and buffaloes can be analyzed for genetic diversity using various molecular markers either by using PCR-RFLP, RAPD, ISSR, SSR, or SNPs.Conclusion: The application of molecular markers can be used to analyze animal genetic diversity.
