Abstract

MANET is autonomous, self-configured, and applicable to emergency locations such as forest fires, earthquakes, floods, and health monitoring. However, challenges and difficulties faced by the mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is a dynamically built network system, without the support of infrastructure in communicating between one node and other nodes, and limited energy sources. To overcome MANET problems and to obtain optimal network quality, the selections of routing protocols and quality of service (QoS) are significant in MANET design. This study aims to analyze the performance of routing protocols: dynamic source routing (DSR), ad-hoc on demand distance vector (AODV) and optimized link state routing (OLSR) based on QoS. The analyzed QoS parameters include packet delivery ratio (PDR), packet loss, throughput, and delay. Simulation results using network simulator version based on the number of node densities indicate that OLSR has better performance compared to AODV and DSR regarding PDR, packet loss, throughput, and delay.

Abstract

Heart disease is a heart condition that sometimes causes a person to die suddenly. One indication is a rhythm disorder known as arrhythmia. Multi-class Arrhythmia Detection has followed: QRS complex detection procedure and arrhythmia classification based on the QRS complex morphology. We proposed an edge device that detects QRS complexes based on variance analysis (QVAT) and the arrhythmia classification based on the QRS complex spectrogram. The classifier uses two-dimensional convolutional neural network (2D CNN) deep learning. We use a single board computer and neural network compute stick to implement the edge device. The outcomes are a prototype device cardiologists use as a supporting tool for analysing ECG signals, and patients can also use it for self-tests to figure out their heart health. To evaluate the performance of our edge device, we tested using the MIT-BIH database because other methods also use the data. The QVAT sensitivity and predictive positive are 99.81% and 99.90%, respectively. Our classifier's accuracy, sensitivity, predictive positive, specificity, and F1-score are 99.82%, 99.55%, 99.55%, 99.89%, and 99.55%, respectively. The experiment result of arrhythmia classification shows that our method outperforms the others. Still, for r-peak detection, the QVAT implemented in an edge device is comparable to the other methods. In future work, we can improve the performance of r-peak detection using the double-check algorithm in QVAT and cross-check the QRS complex detection by adding 1 class to the classifier, namely the non-QRS class.

Abstract

The antenna performance is seen from the S-parameter value. The S-parameter graph can be seen as the return loss (S11, S22) and the mutual coupling (S21, S12) value. This research focuses on analyzing mutual coupling on Square and Vivaldi array antennas using the ring metamaterial method. The value of mutual coupling is considered very important to analyze because it affects the performance of the antenna in which is arranged in an array. The simulation results of the mutual coupling value obtained on a square array antenna use a ring metamaterial is -17 dB at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. Meanwhile, the Vivaldi array antenna uses a ring metamaterial that produces a mutual coupling value of -13.840744 dB at a frequency of 3.0162 GHz. The factors that affect the square array antenna so that it becomes the best to suppress the mutual coupling value between antenna elements are a selection of metamaterial shape and proper placement between the antenna array elements is arranged horizontally.

Abstract

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) can cause a malfunction of on-board electronic circuits in an autonomous electric vehicle and supporting electronic devices located in the environment of autonomous electric vehicles as well. In order to navigate an autonomous electric vehicle safely, it is important to have electromagnetic field characteristic in the environment. Since the information of electromagnetic field characteristic is hard to find, it needs to be modeled. This paper presents a model of electromagnetic field characteristic that is generated by using autoregression in order to estimate potential EMI. The EMI estimation is based on electromagnetic characteristic in an environment. Unlike other applications that use time history of data to build a model, we present a spatial electromagnetic field strength data in a previous route to estimate the future data in a new route. To obtain historical data for auto-regression process, we measured electric field strengths along a circular route in a campus near Jakarta. This surrounding environment represents a typical area of suburbs. The input variables for auto-regression process are the first 27 correlated data of 155 measured data. The result shows that the use of 13 predictor coefficient produces a variance of prediction error near to zero, with an improvement from maximum prediction error of 15.1257 to prediction error of 0.1862.

Abstract

Abstract -- Research on microstrip antennas is currently growing in prevalence, as their compact design and low cost make them simple to adapt to various needs. The goal of this study is to find out how the inset-fed depth affects the impedance matching of a rectangular microstrip antenna using a simple RMSA design. The author designs the antenna to operate at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with an FR-4 epoxy substrate and simulates it using CST Suite Studio 2019 software. The research shows that adding an inset fed with a depth of 5 mm results in an impedance value of 50.28 + j3.68 Ω, which is close to the desired impedance. The computation process using Neural Network reduces simulation time by 65% faster compared to CST simulation.

Abstract

AbstractTax are the main source of state revenue. Therefore, tax authorities around the world are in charged to reducing the tax gap. One of the factors that causes the tax gap is the level of taxpayer compliance. In order to minimising the risk of taxpayers non-compliance, Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) as a Tax Authorities need to supervising and inspecting taxpayers. Corporate taxpayers as one of the largest source of revenue, based on their business sector have a dominant contribution to state revenues. Thus, in this study, the researcher tries to implement the clustering method with the K-Means algorithm to grouping the business classifications (Klasifikasi Lapangan Usaha/KLU) according to the risk of non-compliance level and the fiscal impact on revenue which is divided into high, medium, and low. The results show that there are 9 KLUs that included into the red quadrant with a high level of non-compliance (variable A) and have a high fiscal impact (variable B). Clustering validation using the silhouette test, obtained values of variable A and variable B, respectively 0,65 and 0,93. The information provided from this study can be used to support decision making in determining the list of KLUs that need to be prioritized for supervising and inspecting.
