Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on lecturer organizational commitment and performance, and to analyze the mediating role of organizational commitment to the effect of job satisfaction on lecturer performance. This research was conducted at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) and the Universitas Muslim Nusantara (UMN) Al Washliyah in Medan. The population is 425 permanent lecturers who hold functional positions at the two universities, and the sample was determined as many as 219 people. Data were collected by interview and questionnaire techniques. Path analysis is used to analyze data, and shows that job satisfaction is proven to have a significant direct effect both on organizational commitment and on lecturer performance. Organizational commitment is also proven to have a direct and significant effect on performance. However. the test results show that job satisfaction does not support lecturer performance when mediated through organizational commitment.

Abstract

The Digital Era or also known as the "Web 4.0" era where everything is converted into digital form. The muamalah sector is the single largest area of ​​digitization (buying and selling transactions). Advances in information technology have a positive impact on business innovation.transactions E-commerce have a positive impact on the widespread use of information technology and the internet today. E-commerce is the single most innovative aspect of Indonesian business. Currently, Indonesia is being hit by the Corona virus (Covid-19), and the government urges the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle by doing activities at home as a way to protect themselves. This condition will provide access to online buying and selling transactions, both through various digital platforms and those specifically related. The formal legality of digital/e-commerce business transactions has been regulated in Law Number 11 of 2008, Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning trade and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning consumer protection and the MUI DSN with its Fatwa Number: 05/DSN- MUI/IV/2000 regarding the sale and purchase of Salam. The purpose of this study is to analyze the practice of e-commerce from the perspective of Fiqh Muamalat. The analytical method used is literature with qualitative approach analysis. Current studies show that e-commerce is a form of commerce that is synonymous with trading with as-salam. The practice of e-commerce in this way can also be considered to meet the requirements of as-salaam.

Abstract

Indonesia is not a country that uses Islamic law, but the majority of the population is Muslim so most rules refer to Islamic rules. Even in daily life we carry out many Islamic rules, such as prayer, fasting, paying zakat and so on. Unwittingly at work, we also use the rules of Islam in the regulations made. This study aims to determine and analyze whether the concept of Islam is applied in Human Resource Management practices in companies in Indonesia. This article uses a qualitative description approach, focusing on current problems and phenomena. The author randomly extracts data and information from several employees who work at companies and study libraries to enrich writing. The results of research conducted indicate that there are several factors that are not in accordance with the concept of Islam, resulting in discomfort for Muslims who work there.The conclusion that can be drawn is that there is no coordination between the employees and policy makers dominated by those who are actually non-Muslims. Those who are non-Muslims always see Islam as a threat because they do not really know Islam, they still see Islam as that, rude, extreme and terrorist. Coupled with employees' ignorance with management, they prefer silence, accepting without protest every policy from the company for fear of being dismissed from the company.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui dan menganalisis budaya organisasi menurut konsep manajemen barat dalam pandangan Peter F. Drucker, konsep manajemen Islam dalam tinjauan A Riawan Amin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research yaitu lebih menitik beratkan pada pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber yang relevan dengan metode dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Peter F Drucker menyatakan manajemen sebagai ilmu budaya yang didalamnya diletakan nilai-nilai moral, perilaku dan keyakinan kepada para pelaku epentingan bisnis dalam organisasi dan perusahaan, sedangkan A Riawan Amin lebih menitik beratkan proses manajemen dan bisnis Islam pada nilai dan motivasi ukhrawi. Ada beberapa kesamaan dasar pada konsep manajemen yang digaungkan oleh dua tokoh pemikir ini khususnya terkait budaya organisasi, salah satu diantaranya terkait religiusitas dan materi.

Abstract

Kompetensi diartikan sebagai kemampuan seseorang yang dapat terobservasi yang mencangkup pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan atau tugas sesuai dengan performa yang ditetapkan. Selanjutnya kompensasi adalah sebagai bentuk penghargaan terhadap penyerahan serta pemberian segenap hasil kerja (performance) karyawan kepada karyawan. Dan yang terakhir kinerja karyawan secara umum dapat dikatakan sebagai tingkat pencapaian hasil atas pelaksanaan tugas tertentu dari karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtanadi Cabang HM. Yamin Medan.Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 responden.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer berupa angket dan menggunakan skala likert dalam pemilihan respon penilaian, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan variabel kompetensi tidak berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, kemudian variable kompensasi berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selanjutnya berdasarkan uji F dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa variabel X1 (kompetensi), X2 (kompensasi) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y (kinerja karyawan). Kata Kunci : Kompetensi, Kompensasi dan Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

 Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi SDM terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Melalalui Komitmen Organisasi pada PT.Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Witel Medan, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT.Telkom Indonesia (Persero) di JL. Prof. HM. Yamin Sh No.13, Perintis Kec. Medan Timur, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan februari 2022 sampai dengan selesai, populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai tetap PT.Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Witel Medan yang berjumlah 69 orang, teknik pengumpulan sampel yang digunkan adalah sampel jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi yang digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu seluruh pegawai tetap PT.Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Witel Medan yang berjumlah 69 orang, teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur dengan program Smart PLS. Dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan adapun kesimpulan yang bisa ditarik adalah, Dalam penelitian ini bahwa kompetensi  berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. Komitmen Organisasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Komitmen Organisasi sebagai Variabel Intervening tidak mampu berperan sebagai mediasi pada pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai.                       Kata kunci : Kompetensi SDM, Komitmen Organisasi, Kinerja

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Model Based on Organizational Culture is mediated by Learning Organizations and Organizational Commitment. The sample size in this study was tailored to the analytical model used, namely Structural Equation Modeling utilizing the Maximum Likelihood Estimate (MLE) estimation model requires 100-200 samples. As a result, the sample size for this study was 200 permanent lecturers at Private Universities in North Sumatra. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that Organizational Culture, Learning Organization, and Organizational Commitment had a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Organizational Culture and Learning Organization had a significant positive effect on Organizational Commitment. Learning organizations mediated positively the effect of Organizational Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Commitment mediate the effect of Organizational Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of destination image and tourist facilities on Revisit Intention and Recommendation Intention through Domestic Tourist Satisfaction at Lake Toba Tourism Destinations. The population in this study is domestic tourists. This study will be tested on tourists visiting tourist destinations on Lake Toba during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample size in this study was calculated from the size of the indicator multiplied by 5 to 10. Because this study used 4 construct variables with a total of 55 indicators, the sample required in this study was at least 55 x 5 = 275, people. The types of data collected to support the variables studied are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis method used is the Structural Equation Model from the LISREL 8.80 statistical software package. The results of the study show that the image of tourist destinations and facilities has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction. Tourism facilities have a significant positive effect on Recommended Intention. Destination Image and Tourist Satisfaction have a significant positive effect on Revisit Intention. Tourist satisfaction has a positive effect on recommended intention significantly. Satisfaction can positively mediate the effect of Destination Image on Revisit Intention and tourist satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of tourist facilities on the Revisit Intention of Domestic Tourists at Lake Toba Tourism Destinations.

Abstract

Performance as the level of efficiency of an activity is able to achieve the quantity and quality targets that have been set. Increasing employee performance itself will encourage increased performance and other factors of the entire performance of the entire business or company.The objectives of the research to be carried out are: to find out and analyze whether there is an influence of work motivation on employee performance at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Head Office. To find out and analyze whether there is an Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Head Office. To find out and analyze whether there is an Influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Head Office. To find out and analyze whether there is an Influence of Work Motivation, Emotional Intelligence, and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Head Office. This study uses an explanatory research approach. Determination of the number of samples taken as respondents using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique used in this research is to use a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple regression, classical assumptions, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination with the help of the SPSS for Windows Version 22 program. Based on the results of the study there was a significant effect of work motivation on employee performance at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Head Office. There is a significant influence of Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Head Office.
