Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on job satisfaction, to know and analyze the effect of compensation on job satisfaction and to find out and analyze the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Mitra Abadi Setiacargo - Medan. The approach used in this research is an associative approach. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Mitra Abadi Setiacargo - Medan, amounting to 34 people using a saturated sample so that all members of the population are sampled. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire technique. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Regression, t Test, F Test and Determination Coefficient. Partially known work discipline variables have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Mitra Abadi Setiacargo - Medan. Partially known compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Mitra Abadi Setiacargo- Medan. Simultaneously it is known that work discipline and compensation have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Mitra Abadi Setiacargo. The coefficient of determination is 0.887 or 88.7%. This shows 88.7% of the variables of work discipline and compensation contribute to job satisfaction. The remaining 11.3% is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

This research aimed to find about student’s perception about street hawker / street trader availability that located around campuss.  Sample that have been chosen were student, whith variables to be research were product and service quality that given by them, and perception about street trader availability.  Result shown than generally students thank thant product and service quality given were good and their availability were good, thant means their availability are helping people to fulfill their needs.

Abstract

Purpose The purpose of this research is to formulate a measurement model of Emotional Exhaustion for non-permanent lecturers with SEM-PLS at Private Islamic Higher Education (PTAIS) in North Sumatra.Methodology The research population is all non-permanent lecturers of Private Islamic Higher Education (PTAIS) in North Sumatra. To determine the sample size, Maximum Likelihood estimation is used in the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Therefore, based on the need for researchers to use data analysis techniques using the Structural Equation Model and also because later the maximum likelihood estimation technique will be used which requires a sample size of 100-200 samples, the researcher will take a sample of 100-200 non-permanent lecturers. The analytical method used is SEM-PLS analysis.Findings The results showed that there was a significant effect of Role Conflict on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant effect of Self Efficacy on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant effect of Emotional Exhaustion on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant effect of Role Conflict on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant effect of Self Efficacy on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Job Satisfaction. There is no significant effect of Leadership on Job Satisfaction through Emotional Exhaustion. There is no significant effect of Role Conflict on Job Satisfaction through Emotional Exhaustion. And there can be no significant effect of Self efficacy on Job Satisfaction through Emotional ExhaustionOriginality/Novelty The research model uses five (5) variables and applies the concept of mediation, where each relationship in the research model is analyzed by SEM-PLS.Implications This study has shown that Emotional Exhaustion does not have a mediating effect on the influence of leadership, self-efficacy and role conflict on job satisfaction. Starting from the results of this study, the recommendation for further research is to try to analyze or use the Emotional Exhaustion variable as an independent variable, not as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha, terutama mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah Kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif, karena ingin mengetahui pengaruh factor internal, factor eksternal dan pembelajaran terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey dengan menggunakan angket.  Data dianalisis dengan bantuan program SPSS.Hasil penelitian adalah bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari factor internal, factor eksternal dan pembelajaran terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari thitung< ttabel yaitu 1,354 < 1,997, dan thitung berada didaerah penerimaan Ho sehingga Ho diterima (Ha ditolak). Lingkungan kerja menunjukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dapat dilihat dari thitung> ttabel yaitu 5,005 > 1,997, dan thitung berada didaerah penolakan Ho sehingga Ho ditolak (Ha diterima), serta secara simultan motivasi berprestasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, hal ini dapat dilihat dari fhitung> ftabel yaitu 17,033 > 3,136. Selanjutnya koefisien determinasi yang diukur dengan menggunakan R square yaitu sebesar 0,351 (35,1%).Kata kunci  : Motivasi Berprestasi, Lingkungan Kerja, Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa variabel pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawandiperoleh nilai2,296>1,997 dengan taraf signifikan 0,025< 0,05 dan variabel disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawandiperoleh nilai 4,154>1,997 dengan taraf signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Pada uji F terlihat bahwa 19,209> 3,14 dengan taraf signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima Ho ditolak yang berarti bahwa variabel pelatihan dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap produktivitaskerjakaryawan. Sedangkan nilai koefisien determinasi hasil penelitian ini adalah 0,691 atau 69,1 % menunjukkan sekitar 69,1 variabel produktivitas (Y) dipengaruhi pelatihan (X1) dan disiplin kerja (X2). Sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, Disiplin Kerja dan Produktivitas Karyawan

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the determinant factor model of competence of graduates of private Islamic tertiary institutions in the city of Medan. The population in this study are all Private Islamic College Students in Medan. The respondents will be taken 135 respondents. Data collection in this research was conducted by means of interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used was the Structural Equation Model. The results showed that Foundation Management affected Governance, Foundation Management affected Lecturer Performance, Foundation Management affected graduate Competence, University Governance affected Lecturer Performance, University Governance affected Graduates' Competence, and Lecturer Performance influenced Graduates Competence. Private Islamic College in the City of Medan. Foundation Management influences Lecturer Performance and Foundation Management influences graduate Competence through governance and University Governance influences graduate Competency through lecturers' performance in Private Islamic Universities in Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  meneliti  apakah  ada  pengaruh  efisiensi modal  kerja,  likuiditas  dan  solvabilitas  terhadap  modal  kerja.  Hasil  analisis regresi  menunjukkan  bahwa  efisiensi  modal  kerja  dan  likuiditas    tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan solvabilitas berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. terdapat pengaruh secara mandiri atau parsial antara variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Berdasarkan uji anova atau uji F-test, diperoleh F hitung sebesar  3,378  dengan  tingkat  signifikasi  0,029  jauh  dibawah  signifikan  0,05.Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Working Capital  Turn Over, Current Ratio, dan Debt To Asset Ratio secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap Return On  Invesment yang ada di BEI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Consumer Brand Switching Behavior Model in Purchasing Automotive Products in Medan City. This research is basic research. The population in this study were consumers of car owners in Medan City. The sampling technique is a non-probability sampling technique. The criteria used in the sampling are that the respondents of this study are consumers who own cars, have changed car brands in the last 3 years, and reside in Medan, while the sample is set at 145 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews (Interview) and a list of questions (Questionaire). The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model method. The results showed that Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Brand Image has a negative and significant effect on Brand Switching. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Product quality has a negative and significant effect on Brand Switching. Satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on Brand Switching. Satisfaction can negatively mediate the effect of Brand Image on Brand Switching and Satisfaction can negatively mediate the effect of Product Quality on Brand Switching.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Determinant Factor Model of Work Stress and Nurse Performance at a Private Hospital in Medan City. The location of this research was carried out at several Type B private hospitals in Medan City such as Bina Kasih Hospital, Columbia Medan Hospital, Herna Hospital, Indonesian Workers Imelda Hospital, Martha Friska Hospital, Mitra Sejati Hospital, Murni Teguh Hospital, Permata Bunda Hospital, Royal Prima Hospital, Siloam Dirga Surya Hospital, and St. Elisabeth. The population referred to in this study is the female nurse paramedic staff at the Type B Private Hospital in Medan. Respondents who will be taken are 160 respondents. Data collection in this study was carried out by interview, questionnaire and documentation study. The data analysis method used was PLS-SEM. The results showed that there was a significant effect of social support on work stress. There is a significant effect of Multiple Role Conflict on Job Stress. There is a significant effect of Job Stress on Nurse Performance. There is a significant effect of Social Support on Nurse Performance. There is a significant effect of Multiple Role Conflict on Nurse Performance. There is a significant effect of Multiple Role Conflict on Nurse Performance through Job Stress. There is a significant effect of Social Support on Nurse Performance through Work Stress.
