Abstract

Advancements in digital technology have prompted government institutions to adopt online services, including the provision of public information through their official websites. However, the growing reliance on digital systems has also led to an increase in cybersecurity threats. This study aims to assess potential security vulnerabilities on the XYZ website, which is managed by a regional government, using a penetration testing approach based on the NIST SP 800-115 framework and the Burp Suite tool. The testing process was carried out in four phases: planning, discovery, attack execution, and reporting. The results revealed eight vulnerabilities, including two classified as high severity: code injection and unencrypted communication (HTTP). Additionally, publicly accessible backup files and support for XML input were identified, posing risks of XML External Entity (XXE) attacks. These findings highlight the critical importance of input validation, full implementation of HTTPS protocols, and strict file management to enhance website security. The study also recommends conducting further audits related to XML vulnerabilities and implementing continuous system monitoring to address evolving cyber threats.

Abstract

Internet use is currently growing rapidly in many aspects of life; education, economy, social life, politics and culture. The needs and rapid developments in the use of the Internet network require a balance provision of Internet connection. In fact, connectivity is not always run smoothly because of low bandwidth capacity and network traffic increases. These problems cause network connection interrupted and data lose. Load balancing system is one of the solutions to get a better quality of internet service. Using more than one different ISP (Internet Service Provider) which is then balanced with load balancing system, can make the traffic run optimally, maximize throughput, minimize response time and avoid overload on any of the connection lines. This system worked by distributing the traffic load on two or more connection lines in a balanced way so that traffic can run optimally. By using load balancing system, when the internet is interrupted, then there will be a backup. This study focuses on implementing backups from Internet network sources or backups from dependency on one Internet service provider. The method used in this study is a case study. The instrument used is an observation at the Benteng Village Office in Ciamis. The process started by selecting the right ISP source to be used as a backup. Then continued with the Mikrotik installation and the application of load balancing in Mikrotik. The next steps are testing of the load balancing system which is carried out by technical testing of the implementation. The process includes testing the speed, the function, and optimization of the load balancing. The result shows that the use of load balancing system can be applied optimally. When network traffic increases due to the distribution of balanced connection lanes, it can run without changing the existing network and makes the connection run more optimal.

Abstract

Ciamis Regency has substantial potential in the creative economy (Ekraf) sector, yet management remains constrained by manual and decentralized data collection. This study designs and implements a web-based Ekraf Management Information System to support integrated data collection, online registration, data verification, report generation, and public business profiles for promotion. Development follows the Scrum methodology to enable iterative and adaptive delivery, using PHP–Laravel, MySQL, and XAMPP. System modeling employs UML (use case, activity, class, and sequence diagrams). Functional evaluation applies black-box testing across core modules (registration, Login, submission, verification, and reporting). Results show that all test scenarios meet acceptance criteria business processes become more efficient and transparent, and service access for business actors improves. The system also consolidates Ekraf data digitally and disseminates business information online. At present, the solution is functionally feasible and under submission for adoption by the Ciamis Tourism Office. Future work includes integration with licensing services (NIB/OSS), dashboard analytics, automated notifications, and performance optimization for larger data scales.

Abstract

The car workshop queue management system at SMK Muhammadiyah Kawali still relies on inefficient manual processes, often leading to customer congestion, long wait times, and the risk of errors in data recording, thus reducing customer satisfaction and hindering operational effectiveness. Therefore, this research aims to design and build a Website-Based Car Workshop Queue Booking Information System to make it easier for customers to book queues online, improve operational efficiency, and reduce waiting times. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) to accelerate the development cycle. In its implementation, this system was built using PHP for the back-end, XAMPP as the local server, and MySQL as the database management system to store all queue, service, user, and payment data. With this system in place, it is hoped that the queue booking process will become more structured, thereby improving the quality of workshop services at SMK Muhammadiyah Kawali.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven educational institutions to present digital media that is both informative and representative, such as school websites. However, the user interface design of the SMK Muhammadiyah Kawali website is considered suboptimal in terms of aesthetics and user comfort. This study aims to improve the website’s user interface using the Kansei Engineering Type I method, which focuses on translating users’ emotions and perceptions into design elements. The research process involved identifying Kansei Words, developing questionnaires using a Semantic Differential Scale, collecting data from IT teachers, vocational students, and Information Systems students at Universitas Galuh, and analyzing the data using multivariate statistical methods such as CCA, PCA, FA, and PLS. The results indicate that several visual elements of the website can be optimized to create a more emotionally engaging, user-friendly, and school-representative interface. This study produces new interface design recommendations in the form of wireframes and Mockups, expected to enhance the user experience of the SMK Muhammadiyah Kawali website.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) for market trend analysis at PT. Asia Tritunggal Jaya by applying the COBIT 2019 framework. The main issue faced by the company lies in the lack of structured data management, which hinders effective decision- making. The study aims to evaluate database management, develop BI-based data visualizations, and assess BI governance maturity using COBIT 2019. A descriptive case study was conducted over seven months, involving interviews, observations, and internal documentation. Data were processed using ETL techniques, with K-Means Clustering applied to analyze customer purchasing patterns, while Power BI was employed to create interactive dashboards. The BI governance assessment referred to APO, BAI, and DSS domains of COBIT 2019. Findings reveal that although the company has structured transactional records, database management remains suboptimal. Power BI visualization effectively presented sales and market insights. COBIT 2019 evaluation placed BI governance at Level 2 (Managed), indicating that processes are in place but not yet fully standardized. In conclusion, BI has supported market trend analysis and decision-making, but improvements in governance and standardization are still required for long-term effectiveness.

Abstract

For small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) such as cafes, technological advances, particularly the internet and web-based applications, offer solutions for inventory management. Currently, Panada Coffee still uses a manual system, which causes many problems, including recording errors, product tracking issues, and miscommunication. Consequently, it is recommended to use the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to build a “Web-Based Inventory Management Information System.” The RAD method was chosen because it is flexible and accessible anywhere, and allows rapid development according to the specific needs of cafe owners through direct involvement. The purpose of this study is to design and build a web-based inventory management information system for Panada Coffee. This system will have a user-friendly user interface and aims to reduce errors and data loss. Ultimately, this research is expected to help improve accuracy and speed in the entire inventory management process, from data collection, stock management, requests, repairs, to the management of incoming and outgoing goods. The authors used three methods to collect data. First, interviews to obtain further information. Second, conducted documentation by analyzing previous records, such as inventory reports. Finally, they studied literature by reading relevant journals to understand theories and compare research results. This research replaces the manual system with a web-based inventory management information system at Panada Coffee. The researchers recommend developing a system with integration with finance and sales.

Abstract

Perubahan proses bisnis dalam sebuah kelembagaan atau perusahaan mempengaruhi sistem informasi. Perubahan tersebut berdampak terhadap sistem informasi yang dikembangkan. Namun, Management System of LP3I di Politeknik LP3I Kampus Tasikmalaya arsitektur yang digunakan menggunakan monolitik. Arsitektur tersebut dianggap sulit dikembangkan, maka dilakukan refactoring menjadi arsitektur microservice. Refactoring microservice memiliki tujuan untuk memudahkan pengembangan sistem tanpa mengganggu sistem yang sudah berjalan. Strangler pattern dijadikan metode dalam 10 tahap proses refactoring arsitektur dan dua tahap refactoring database yaitu mengubah skema database kemudian memindahkan data. Setelah itu, kemudian diuji mengunakan pendekatan heuristic usability dengan nilai diatas 73%. Hasilnya arsitektur microservice menggunakan strangler pattern berhasil dirancang dan direkomendasikan berupa blueprint.

Abstract

This research discusses the design of a decision support system for selecting outstanding students using the simple addictive weighting (saw) method in a case study at SMA Informatika Ciamis. The purpose of this research is to facilitate the assessment of outstanding teachers, it is necessary to create a system that is able to provide maximum results and can facilitate the process of selecting outstanding teachers in terms of assessment, data processing and data input. This study uses several relevant theories such as Decision Support Systems. The research method used in this research is the SAW method, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. In Ciamis Informatics High School as one of the largest private high schools in Ciamis every year an election for outstanding teachers is always held. From previous experience, every selection of outstanding teachers always had problems, including the lack of attention to the weight of the assessment of each of the criteria for evaluating outstanding teachers. The weight of the assessment includes attendance, discipline, professionalism, personality and social.

Abstract

Tilapia cultivation in Kampung Nila Kawali relies heavily on air quality as a key success factor. Currently, air quality monitoring is still done manually, resulting in inaccurate results, especially with a large number of ponds and extensive cultivation areas. This study aims to design an integrated pond quality monitoring and maintenance system tailored to user needs. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, with stages of planning, design, coding, and testing. This method was chosen because it is flexible to changing needs, accelerates development, and improves communication between developers and users. The design results indicate that the system successfully meets user needs in terms of interface and features. The system can display information on air quality parameters, pond locations, maintenance schedules, and air quality history in a concise and easy-to-understand manner. A warning notification feature is also designed to provide immediate information when air quality parameters are outside normal limits or require maintenance action.
