Abstract

Perkembangan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Pulau Nusakambangan dimulai dari tahun 1908 sejak Pemerintah Hindia Belanda mengeluarkan ketetapan untuk mempergunakan Pulau Nusakambangan sebagai tempat untuk menghukum mereka yang terkena hukuman. Perkembangan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Nusakambangan selanjutnya pada tahun 1935 dikeluarkannya surat keputusan Direktur Justisi tentang napi yang dapat diterima di Nusakambangan dengan sisa hukuman satu tahun. Pada tahun 1965 dikeluarkannya surat keputusan Kepala Djawatan Kependjaraan yang mengatur bahwa napi yang dikirim ke Nusakambangan harus diseleksi terlebih dahulu. Selanjutnya pada tahun 1983 Menteri Ismail Saleh menginstruksikan bahwa Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Nusakambangan dijadikan sebagai tempat untuk membina napi yang sulit dibina di Lapas lain. Pembinaan di Lapas Nusakambangan bersifat kemandirian seperti pertanian, perikanan, perkebunan, perbengkelan, dan pertukangan. Adanya Lapas Nusakambangan ini memberikan dampak bagi kehidupan sekitar Pulau Nusakambangan yakni dalam bidang politik, pariwisata, sosial, dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menjelaskan bagaimana sejarah dan perkembangan pondok pesantren Girikusumo tahun 1997-2008; (2) Menjelaskan peran kyai dalam perkembangan pondok pesantren Girikusumo; dan (3) Menjelaskan pengaruh pondok pesantren Girikusumo bagi masyarakat Girikusumo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang meliputi tahap heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Girikusumo didirikan pada tahun 1868 oleh Muhammad Hadi. Pesantren Girikusumo merupakan pesantren yang selain memberikan pengajaran dan pendidikan juga sebagai pesantren yang terkenal sebagai pusat pengajaran Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah. Pada tahun 1997 pesantren Girikusumo mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat hingga saat ini. Sosok kyai yang kharismatik sangat berperan dalam perkembangan pondok pesantren Girikusumo. Adanya pondok pesantren Girikusumo sangat berpengaruh bagi masyarakat Girikusumo mulai dampak sosial, agama, pendidikan dan ekonomi. Kata Kunci: perkembangan, pesantren dan peran kyai

Abstract

Pembangunan dan perkembangan Pabrik Rokok Sukun di Kabupaten Kudus menyebabkan perubahan sosial ekonomi pada masyarakat, kecuali itu tentunya banyak memunculkan akibat untuk masyarakat di sekitarnya. Pengaruh berdirinya Pabrik Rokok Sukun bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat diantaranya menambah penghasilan tempat yang bisa dipakai untuk memajukan dan memaksimalkan potensi tempat kudus, dari adanya industri rokok memberikan pajak dan donasi terbesar dalam penghasilan tempat, penghasikan tempat tersebutlah yang dipakai untuk melaksanakan pembangunan dan membetuli infrastruktur serta sarana prasarana di kudus. PR Sukun ialah suatu perusahaan perseorangan yang didirikan Bapak MC Wartono Pada tahun 1949 serta menemukan izin cukai no. SIP 6500/F; no. Pemantauan bandrol K2417; dan ijin HO no. 067/WF/HO. Pada waktu tersebut semua pekerjaan perusahaan terpusat di Kudus, mencakup bidang produksi, keuangan, personalia, dan pemasaran. Daerah pemasarannya masih paling terbatas, eksklusif untuk mengisi permintaan di Jawa Tengah. Pada masa-masa berdiri perusahaan melulu mempunyai lokasi kerja yang paling kecil dan produksinya masih tidak banyak sekali melulu sebesar ratusan ribu batang perharinya, rokok yang diproduksi antara lain: Klobot sukun, kretek dan beda sebagainya (www.sukunmcwartono.com). Pembangunan dan pertumbuhan Pabrik Rokok Sukun di Kudus mengakibatkan perubahan sosial ekonomi pada masyarakat.

Abstract

The history of politics in Indonesia, especially Orde Baru is indeed inseparable from the conflict between Islam and the state, especially the problem of ideology. This was seen when the Orde Baru applied a non-aspirational political strategy to Islam, one of them is asas tunggal Pancasila. The inequality of political views with the government caused various reactions and resistance from radical Islamists. One of the incidents is the Borobudur Temple bombing in 1985. The methods used in this study were historical research methods, this is: (1) Heuristics, (2) Source Criticism, (3) Interpretation, and (4) Historiography. The results of this study indicate that there are factors underlying the occurrence of the Borobudur Temple bombing, this is: (1) Political factors, the reactions of various Orde Baru policies which were considered to marginalize Islam, (2) Social factors, the emergence of a sense of injustice conducted by the government in the Tanjung Priok tragedy 1984, (3) Religious and ideological emotional factors, the desire to carry out a revolution like in Iran by revenge for bombing. The handling of the government in this case took two months, until the incident of Pemudi Express Bus exploded which resulted in the arrest of the perpetrators. This bombing resulted in the destruction of nine Borobudur Temple stupas which led to the restoration and improvement of the temple area security system. This incident also had an impact on the tourism, social and political economy in Indonesia. Keywords: Bombing, Borobudur Temple, Social History

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is (1) Adding insight and understanding of the history teacher to many types of scientific kara; (2) Stimulate the spirit of the teacher to develop competence particularly in the field of scientific writing; (3) Stimulating new ideas and teachers in scientific writing for the purposes of education and professional development; (4) Introduce and help teachers publish scientific papers in journals ilmiah.Kegiatan training was conducted by the method of seminars and workshops. Implementation of detailed training is divided into several activities, namely: (1) Presentation on the various themes that can be developed in the writing of scientific papers; (2) Presentation of the systematic writing scientific papers and procedures writing in scientific journals; (3) A discussion of various issues related to the material presented; (4) Assignment yan manufacture of scientific work was accompanied by a team of devotion; (5) Assistance and evaluation by both parties or by the PPM Team History MGMPs Semarang.Setelah District conducted a series of training, participants know the significance kmpetensi professional development through the development of a scientific article.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the history of the dynamic relationship between Chinese and Javanese in Parakan, Temanggung Regency, Central Java. The method used is the historical research method which consists of four stages. These are heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The study used qualitative analysis with a phenomenological approach. The ethnic Chinese-Javanese relationship in Parakan had ups and downs, especially during the colonial period until after the G30S incident. As a minority group, the Chinese were often racially discriminated against. Discrimination and negative sentiment are also driven by the inequality of socio-economic conditions between Chinese-Javanese. Moreover, the state, through various regulations, has contributed to strengthening this segregation, in the form of space politics and policies. That is, Parakan City is divided into two sub-districts, Parakan Kulon (Kauman) and Parakan Wetan (Chinatown). The colonial government also contributed to the existence of a different socio-economic stratification, prioritizing the ethnic Chinese as a higher stratum. This construction was preserved until the New Order era. These differences created disharmonious relationship, often ending in conflict. Moreover, the exclusive and elitist attitude were held by most of the ethnic Chinese. Some of these things eventually become the inhibiting factors for the integration process of perfect segregation. In the end, the eternal Javanese sentiment with the Chinese ethnicity hindered the process of recognizing the same national identity. Even there is an integration effort.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengurai sejarah dinamika hubungan etnis Tionghoa dengan masyarakat Jawa di Parakan, Kabupaten Temanggung, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahapan. Yakni heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hubungan etnis Tionghoa-Jawa di Parakan mengalami pasang surut dari masa ke masa, terutama periode kolonial hingga pasca peristiwa G 30 S. Sebagai kelompok minoritas, etnis Tionghoa acapkali mengalami diskriminasi rasial. Diskriminasi dan sentimen negatif juga didorong adanya ketimpangan kondisi sosial-ekonomi antara Thionghoa-Jawa. Terlebih negara, melalui berbagai regulasi turut mengokohkan segregasi tersebut dalam bentuk politik ruang dan kebijakan. Bentuknya, Kota Parakan dibagi menjadi dua wilayah yaitu kelurahan Parakan Kulon (Kauman) dan Parakan Wetan (Pecinan). Pemerintah colonial juga turut membidani lahirnya stratifikasi social-ekonomi yang berbeda di antara keduanya, dengan memprioritas etnis Tionghoa sebagai strata yang lebih tinggi. Konstruksi yang demikian ini dikekalkan hingga masa pemerintahan orde baru. Berbagai perbedaan ini yang membuat ketidakharmonisan hubungan keduanya seringkali memuncak dalam bentuk konflik. Terlebih, adanya sikap eksklusif dan elitis yang dipegang sebagian besar etnis Tionghoa. Beberapa hal ini akhirnya menjadi faktor penghambat proses integrasi atas segregasi yang kadung mapan. Pada akhirnya sentimen Jawa terhadap etnis Tionghoa yang lestari menghambat proses pengakuan atas identitas kebangsaan yang sama. Abstract

This research is the development of wayang into creative learning media. The goal is to reduce the problems covering the main learning conditions of history in SMA N 1 Bukateja. The use of Media with puppet cartons is expected to make the students more interested, and the main can help the students to understand the history material. This research is a type of research and development (research and development) with experimental design. The subjects in the study were students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Bukateja. Collecting data from this research is using field analysis (field research), observation, and interviews. The development of products as a medium of teaching cartoon puppets has been through the validation process twice before being applied in the learning process. Validation done by media and material experts with the eligibility level is well-used without revision. The research shows that the development of carton media on the material of the general attack on March 1, 1949, proved effective and feasible to be applied in learning history. The results showed that the experimental class had an average score of 88, better than the control class, which only got a score of 77. In conclusion, this media is a creative and new medium in education that utilizes puppets. In addition, this media indirectly introduces Indonesia's indigenous culture to today's young generation.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) know and analyze the effect of conflict material history learning in the study of local history of Demak Kingdom student awareness toward history and (2) students’ appreciation toward the material. The research method used is qualitative type research with a descriptive strategy. The source of data comes from informants, learning activities, and documents. Data collection techniques include observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study was summarized into two major points that showed that (1) history learning using local sub-materials of local history contributed toward history awareness level. By studying conflicts that had happened in Demak Kingdom, students could prevent them from happening again in the future, and (2) student appreciation toward the material that related to their environment was positive.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out and analyze the learning process of history in SMA Semesta Semarang, find out and explore the implementation of socio-cultural values through history learning, and find out and examine the internalization of socio-cultural values in history learning in SMA Semesta Semarang. This method of this research is a descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research was the history teachers of grade X in SMA Semesta Semarang. The data collection was done using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. In determining the validity of the data, this study used source triangulation. The data analysis technique was an interactive model for data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that history learning in SMA Semesta Semarang had been running well. Before starting the learning activities, teachers first prepare a lesson plan. The lesson plan referred to Curriculum 2013. The teachers used the CTL (Contextual Learning) model and the lecturing method in the learning process. The implementation of socio-cultural values through historical learning was done by teachers spontaneously in the learning activities, and it was not written in the lesson plan. Internalization of the values of character education in the learning process was done through the learning activities in or outside the school. The process of internalizing socio-cultural values through the learning activities in the classroom was divided into three stages: Transformation, Transaction, and Trans-internalization. The internalization of socio-cultural values outside of the classroom learning activities was done through various school activities and habituations such as the presence of honest canteens, religious activities, and visiting historical places—keywords: internalization; values; social-culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of learning history in curriculum 2013 using a scientific approach, to find out what constraints experienced by history teachers in the 2013 curriculum using a scientific approach, and to find out how history teachers overcome obstacles in the 2013 curriculum using a scientific approach This research uses data collection method in the form of observation, interview, and document study. Observation focuses on the implementation of learning using a scientific approach. Document study in this research is the syllabus, RPP, the result of student tasks, and mastery in authentic assessment—technique examination of data validity using triangulation of source and triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques use hypothesis analysis, which is a proposition. The results of this study indicate that in implementing the scientific approach to history, teachers in SMK Negeri 7 Semarang experienced quite complex constraints. The implementation of history learning in the 2013 curriculum uses a scientific approach with 5 M (observing, asking, reasoning, trying, and networking). The obstacles experienced by history teachers in SMK Negeri 7 Semarang are the constraints of time allocation, authentic assessment constraints, and teacher creativity constraints. The solution made by the history teacher at SMK Negeri 7 Semarang is concerned with historical learning materials by reducing aspects of authentic assessment and using varied learning methods so that learning is not monotonous.
