Abstract

The adaptation and use of digital technology have presented various opportunities and challenges for actors involved in educational services, i.e., colleges, educators, and students. Augmented reality has recently emerged as one of the digital technologies that have attracted the attention of many academies and practitioners; in addition, AR technology has brought about a change in the way users and machines interact that can teach and direct students to handle the topic of lessons differently and more proactively. This study aims to design and build an android-based Augmented Reality (AR) computer hardware assembly practicum module application as an alternative learning media in the computer hardware device assembly practicum module, which is expected in a learning activity to be more exciting and increase students' skills about computer assembly through AR technology can be one of the solutions to overcome the practicum module which was previously still in the form of a textbook and was not yet technology-based. The research method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages, namely concept, design, material, collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results of the practicum module application with Augmented Reality technology can be run on mobile devices with an Android operating system for version 5.1 and above, and this module has a feature that can introduce 3-D objects of hardware devices and simulate the assembly of hardware devices 3D objects 3D IC processor components and mainboards that are driven with the touch of a finger by pairing elements (Drag and Drop).

Abstract

The use of technology and reliance on the internet has altered students' learning practices, especially how they approach mathematics. As a result, a novel method of teaching mathematics is required, particularly for geometric concepts that are challenging for children to grasp. For students to better comprehend geometric forms and volume formulas, this study intends to develop spatial learning applications incorporating augmented reality (AR). The method employed in this study is called the Multimedia Development Live Cycle (MDLC), and it includes the steps of ideation, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results showed that this application succeeded in increasing students' understanding in the form of geometric shapes through the use of spatial learning applications with augmented reality. This was effective in increasing students' understanding of using 3D objects and interactions through applications made students more interested and motivated to learn mathematics.

Abstract

Network quality monitoring can provide services in the provision of computer network performance in the provision of data transmission according to the level of aspects related to the performance of network infrastructure systems and the number of clients operating for each computer. During the day, at certain hours, many subscribers use the network when the connection is blocked, and the graphics on the screen reach their highest levels. By monitoring computer network installation graphics, Axence netTools software needs to know bandwidth management to overcome network congestion by analyzing the QoS (quality of service) of computer network data transmission. The purpose of this study is to provide quality of service presentation material on LAN infrastructure performance using the TIPHON standard to measure LAN performance and analyze the factors that influence the results of quality of service measurements and obtain packet loss, delay, jitter based on class classification and average bandwidth value, according to TIPHON. The research method used is observation, interviews, literature study, monitoring, and qualitative descriptive research methods. The results showed that the percentage value of quality of service based on the TIPHON standardization was 66.66%. This result was classified as "unsatisfactory" because the average packet loss was 40%. The average percentage of delay is 115ms, and the average percentage of jitter is 7.5ms. The factors that affect the QoS index results are the distance of computer network transmission facilities and the need to monitor computer networks when adding and maximizing bandwidth according to TIPHON standards.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari World Health Organization (WHO), menyatakan bahwa Asia Tenggara merupakan wilayah dengan penderita stunting tertinggi di dunia sebesar 31,9%. Sedangkan Indonesia menjadi negara ke-enam yang memiliki jumlah stunting tertinggi di Asia Tenggara dengan total 36,4%. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis website yang dapat digunakan sebagai diagnosa dan melakukan monitoring kasus stunting yang ada du wilayah Puskesmas Pondok Jagung Tanggerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode certainty factor, dan sistem diuji menggunakan metode blackbox. Hasil pengujian sistem dinyatakan sesuai dengan fungsi sistem yang diinginkan. Rules yang dihasilkan memiliki faktor keyakinan yang tinggi. Nilai certainty factor yang dihasilkan memiliki kesesuaian setelah melalui proses analisis dan diterima oleh pakar. Dengan adanya sistem pakar diagnose stunting, maka dapat mengurangi resiko stunting untuk ibu hamil. Kata Kunci—Diagnosa Stunting, Certainty Factor, Ibu Hamil, Sistem Pakar

Abstract

Kenaikan harga BBM tidak hanya menimbulkan beban yang lebih besar bagi masyarakat umum, tetapi juga berdampak pada dunia usaha. Dampak dari naiknya harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM) menyebabkan pro dan kontra dimasyarakat. Salah satu media sosial yang sering digunakan masyarakat untuk menyampaikan pendapat adalah Twitter. Twitter merupakan salah satu platform media sosial yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk menyampaikan pendapat. Dari beberapa media sosial yang ada, Twitter memiliki jumlah pengguna aktif terbanyak yaitu sekitar 211 juta orang. Dengan mengacu pada masalah tersebut, peneliti sebelumnya telah melakukan penelitian menggunakan analisis sentimen terhadap kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM) dengan menerapkan metode Naïve Bayes. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan 1000 dataset dengan melakukan penambahan penerapan optimasi seleksi fitur Generate N-gram pada tahap preprocessing dan pelabelan memakai lexicon dan split data 80:20, Langkah awal dalam membagi dataset adalah dengan menerapkan Teknik Stratified Random Sampling, di mana dataset dibagi menjadi data train dan data test. Data train kemudian digunakan untuk membuat model Naïve Bayes, sedangkan data test digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja model melalui penggunaan confusion matrix setelah melalui proses pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan nilai accuracy 81%, precision 88%, recall 85% dan f1-score 87%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perbandingan jarak antara Manhattan distance dan Euclidean distance dalam menentukan keakuratan k-means. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan perbandingan keakuratan antara dua jarak yang digunakan untuk metode k-means clustering. Dengan menggunakan metode k-means penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokan cluster penyakit jantung, dengan menggunakan dataset yang memiliki atribut kolesterol dan umur, untuk menentukan keakuratan dari kedua pengukuran jarak k-means penulis menggunakan silhouette coeffiecient. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemilihan pengukuran jarak untuk k-means clustering mempengaruhi hasil akhir dari clustering dan silhouette score yaitu 0.5374 untuk silhouette score dari k-means yang menggunakan Manhattan distance dan 0.5355 untuk silhouette score dari k-means yang menggunakan Euclidean distance. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa k-means menggunakan Manhattan distance menghasilkan silhouette score yang lebih tinggi dari Euclidean distance. Penelitan lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh dari jarak perbandingan untuk k-means clustering dengan menggunakan dataset berbeda dapat memberikan wawasan lebih lanjut yang berguna dalam layanan kesehatan dan bidang lainya.

Abstract

Stock or inventory is crucial for the company because stock availability will determine the continuity of the transaction to be carried out. At PT. Citra Prima Kharisma, the reporting system is still manual using Microsoft Excel and stock cards, so stock reports are often inaccurate and real-time. This study aims to develop a reporting system with an ERP concept that integrates the sales department with the warehouse department so that the resulting stock reports are accurate and can be viewed in real-time. The system development methodology is used by applying the ERP implementation methodology, where methodology consists of the initial stage, the analysis phase, the construction phase, and the operational phase. This research produces an ERP-based reporting system that integrates data from each department, allows direct data exchange and ensures the consistency and accuracy of information. This system is able to present information in real time and produce accurate reports according to the quantity and condition of goods. This provides significant advantages in stock management and increases the operational efficiency of the company. System testing using SUS showed good acceptance with a score of 75.75 indicating a good level of acceptance of system quality and performance.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest number of social media users. Million social media users in Indonesia reached 167 million in January 2023. These users are spread, across various social media, including Twitter with 24 million users. The high number of social media users on Twitter makes the information validation process even more neglected. Moreover, the trend of news interest read by social media users is only adjusted to their individual tastes. This phenomenon is evidenced by the large number of fake news (hoaxes) circulating in society which are spread through social media. Therefore, an accurate machine learning model is needed to classify "real" and "hoax" news. This study uses the TfidfVectorizer algorithm and Passive Aggressive Classifier for datasets that are shared through the Kaggle site. The contents of the dataset were sourced via social media Twitter over a span of 5 years, namely 2015-2020. At the preprocessing stage to making the Confusion Matrix, the machine learning model shows that it can work well as expected, namely getting Accuracy, Precision, and Recall scores of 82.44%, 80.66%, and 82.44%. In addition, the results of the confusion matrix show that in the dataset used, there is more "real" news than "hoaxes", that is, the model is able to predict 1059 real news and 211 hoax news, with actual conditions 1106 real news and 164 hoax news.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran online untuk mata kuliah bahasa Inggris yang diselenggarakan oleh pihak Arizona State University sudah berlangsung dua tahun di Universitas Esa Unggul. Kali ini peneliti ingin mengeksplorasi kedisiplinan mahasiswa dalam mengumpulkan tugas yang diberikan oleh pihak Arizona State University setiap selesai pembelajaran online yang diselenggaraan setiap minggu dikarenakan tidak adanya penguncian akses tugas setiap minggunya yang seharusnya sebelum pertemuan selanjutnya di sesi minggu depan harus sudah tuntas dan dikunci oleh sistem. Dengan tidak adanya sistem penguncian akses tugas itu peneliti ingin melihat seberapa banyak mahasiswa yang tepat waktu (sebelum pertemuan sesi selanjutnya) dengan mahasiswa yang hanya menyerahkan tugas namun tidak tepat waktu. Penelitian ini didukung data primer yang dikumpulkan penulis dari kelas mata kuliah bahasa Inggris 2 semester genap 2023/2024 sebagai pengajar di kelas yang diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus terhadap permasalahan sejauh mana ketepatan mengirimkan tugas secara online pada mata kuliah bahasa Inggris 2 yang dikelola oleh provider dari luar yaitu Arizona State University berapa banyak mahasiswa yang mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu dan berapa banyak mahasiswa yang hanya sebagai persyaratan kehadiran mereka mengerjakan tugas dan dilihat berapa lama mahasiswa yang terlambat mengerjakan tugas. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan ke depannya pihak penyelenggara mata kuliah bahasa Inggris ini bisa mengantisipasi tingkah pola mahasiswa dalam mengirimkan tugas
