Abstract

Problems related to the use of an object of Flask for various environments are often caused by application designs that are less effective and efficient. An object of Flask is used to run a Flask application based on the states or application environments. Each state or environment has different configuration requirements. The factory method design pattern solves the design problem by separating functions that return an object of Flask based on another object of the configuration class. The implementation of the factory method design pattern will be realized in a dashboard website. It will be used on the backend so that there will be a unit test code to prove the app can be run in a different state or environment

Abstract

The ease of access to information technology in the modern era can be felt in various aspects of human life needs, one of which is exchanging information or exchanging data is an activity that has been carried out very often every day. With this convenience, the security and confidentiality of the data is also very important to consider because the information or data exchanged can contain important or confidential matters. In the exchange of data or information, of course, a security system is needed that ensures the data remains safe. One of the techniques to secure this data is to use cryptographic techniques. There have been many cryptographic techniques used or implemented to secure information, but many cryptographic techniques have been solved so that the ability to secure data is doubtful. One way to overcome this is to create a new cryptography or make changes to existing cryptography. Through this research, a cryptography will be created that uses the pattern of Karo traditional cloth and uses a 64-bit Block Cipher to produce a better encryption process.

Abstract

Partnership schema is widely applied in Indonesia poultry farm industry. In this schema, a poultry company cooperates with many breeder partners to raise their chicken. The company sends their field inspection staffs to monitor the growth of the chickens. Large number of breeders with manual process of report, handle, and monitor takes a significant amount of time and efforts. In addition, the data cannot be observed immediately by the company. A poultry farm monitoring system based on the Application Programming Interface (API) is proposed in this research. The system can be used by breeders, breeder partners and field inspection staffs to facilitate the process of reporting, handling and monitoring by the poultry company. The API technology is applied as a data center and a data provider. The combination of RESTful web service and JSON into the API enable the integration can be processed safely as well as simple and easy to use. The proposed system can be applied to complement or replace the existing manual processes on many poultry farms with partnership schema.
