Abstract

Kalimantan Selatan dalam sinyal kuning status Siaga Darurat Bencana Banjir. Seluruh kabupaten/kota dilanda banjir yang tak hanya menggenangi rumah penduduk, tetapi menerjang dan menghancurkan infrastruktur jalan dan jembatan hingga memutuskan akses lalu lintas umum. Pada 12 Januari – 14 Januari 2021 terjadi cuaca ekstrem yakni hujan lebat disertai kilat/petir dan angin kencang yang berdampak banjir di sebagian besar wilayah Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, Kabupaten Banjar, Tapin, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Hulu Sungai Utara, Balangan, dan Tabalong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis debit limpasan permukaan dan memetakan tingkat kerawanan banjir di Kecamatan Landasan Ulin Kota Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan menggunakan data citra SPOT 6 Kota Banjarbaru. Debit limpasan menggunakan metode rasional dan diperoleh nilai sebesar 229.568,57 m3 hari-1 dengan luas DTA sebesar 3.251.946,40 m2. Kemudian peta tingkat kerawanan banjir memiliki nilai sebesar 1,9 – 2,3 dengan klasifikasi aman banjir seluas 78.067,49 m2, 2,3 – 2,7 dengan klasifikasi tidak rawan banjir seluas 900.029,45 m2, 2,7 – 3,1 dengan klasifikasi rawan banjir seluas 1.459.619,99 m2, dan 3,1 – 3,5 dengan klasifikasi sangat rawan banjir seluas 817.421,39 m2.

Abstract

Kepedulian masyarakat dalam meminimalisasi limbah minyak goreng pada lingkungan telah dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Universitas Lambung Mangkurat kepada Masyarakat ibu-ibu PKK RT 38 RW 11 Kecamatan Cempaka Banjarbaru.  Membuat sendiri sabun ecoenzyme ramah lingkungan berbahan limbah minyak goreng telah dilakukan. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan dua kegiatan, yaitu penyuluhan tentang dampak negatif membuang limbah minyak goreng ke lingkungan dan praktik langsung pembuatan limbah minyak goreng menjadi sabun ecoenzyme yang ramah lingkungan.  Pembuatan Sabun ecoenzyme mudah dilakukan sehingga dapat dilakukan sendiri dan bahan yang digunakan mudah ditemukan. Harga produksi sangat murah dan jika diaplikasikan sangat bernilai ekonomis. Pembuatan sabun dilakukan dengan beberapa kali eksperimen di laboratorium sehingga diperoleh formulasi perbandingan penyusun sabun yang paling baik. Sabun ecoenzyme yang dibuat sangat lembut, harum, berbusa, bersih dalam mencuci tangan dan alat-alat pecah belah dan aman bagi tangan. Pembuatan sabun sangat mudah dan biaya produksi sangat murah.

Abstract

Penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi morfologi mineral magnetik dari tanah kawasan industri daerah Banjarmasin telah dilakukan. Sampel tanah tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X Ray Spectroscopy (SEM EDS) untuk mengetahui morfologi mineral magnetiknya. Keberadaan mineral magnetik di alam dapat menunjukkan kehadiran logam berat. Bentuk mineral magnetik pada sampel daerah penelitian didominasi oleh bentuk bulat sempurna dan bulat tidak sempurna yang diduga merupakan hasil proses antropogenik. Ukuran dari bulir mineral magnetiknya adalah multidomain (≥ 11–118,8 μm) dan pseudo single domain (≤ 3,7–9,5 μm).

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penentuan kualitas air sumur bor di daerah pemukiman di Kecamatan Martapura Kota Kabupaten Banjar. Kualitas air sumur bor dapat diketahui dengan menentukan jumlah beberapa parameter penting kualitas air tanah berdasarkan Dirjen SDA Kementerian PUPR Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 32 Tahun 2017 tentang Baku Mutu Kesehatan Lingkungan dan Persyaratan Kesehatan Air untuk Higiene Sanitasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa air sumur bor di daerah penelitian ini tidak memenuhi baku mutu sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Republik Indonesia Nomor 32 Tahun 2017, terutama pada kandungan E. Coli dan Total Coliform yang cukup tinggi.

Abstract

The bouncepoints or reflection point of a seismic wave is very important to determine a research area that utilizes SS precursors data. In this study the data used has criteria, to obtain good data. Hence, the research results are also good, while the criteria are: the depth of the earthquake source is limited to less than 75 Km to reduce interference with precursor waves that arrive earlier (sSdiff) and it is easier to determine the bouncepoint. The earthquake source is more than 5.8 Mw to get a good SS phase signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The best distance between the source and the receiving station is ≥ 1000 to avoid interference with waves reflected on the surface (Ss670s and Ss400s) and ≤ 1650 to avoid interference with ScSScS precursors. The location of this study is in the south of the island of Kalimantan (15 bouncepoints) and there are 3 points data whose bouncepoints is outside the study area. Earthquake data obtained from IRIS (Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology). The research data for earthquake centers are in Australia, New Zealand and others, for earthquake measuring stations in Europe and Asia.

Abstract

We have conducted research to identify the morphology of magnetic minerals from the land in the Banjarmasin regional settlement area. We used scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM EDS) on the soil sample to look at the shape of its magnetic minerals. In nature, magnetic minerals can indicate the presence of heavy metals. The shape of a magnetic mineral can reveal its origin in either the litogenic or anthropogenic processes. There were mostly pseudo-single domain grains (3.29–10 m) and multidomain grains (> 10–134.69 m) in the study area. The multidomain grains came in the shapes of sperules, irregulars, angles, and prisms. These results indicate that in the residential land location there are magnetic mineral grains originating from litogenic and anthropogenic processes.

Abstract

The Mura'atul Lughat Islamic boarding school, located in the Sekumpul sub-district, Martapura District, Banjar Regency, requires clean water to ensure the survival of its residents. Bore well water and river water in this area are not suitable for consumption. However, it is not uncommon for Islamic boarding school residents to consume this water. This situation prompted the joint Community Service team from Lambung Mangkurat University and Kalimantan Islamic University Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari to identify and implement this activity as a way to contribute science and technology to the Mura'atul Lughat Martapura Islamic boarding school. This community service activity enables the Islamic boarding school to utilize a water filtration membrane device, rendering the drilled well water fit for human consumption. Furthermore, the training activities offered can enhance the knowledge and skills of the Islamic boarding school community. We can eliminate the current costs of purchasing gallon drinking water and generate additional revenue for Islamic boarding schools by selling refillable water through membrane filtration devices. Keywords: Garbage, river environment, cleanliness

Abstract

Precision in radiation dose delivery is critical in cervical cancer treatment to ensure effective tumor control while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues. Given the increasing adoption of advanced radiation therapies, comparative studies on dose distribution between different modalities are essential for evidence-based treatment planning. This study aims to compare the dose absorption in cervical cancer treatment using proton and gamma radiation through Monte Carlo simulation modeling. A Monte Carlo simulation was conducted using the Particle and Heavy Ion Transport code System (PHITS). Proton beams with an energy of 120 MeV and gamma rays at 30 MeV were applied from the anteroposterior (AP) direction using a pencil beam configuration (1 mm × 1 mm). Anatomical data were obtained from Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) files sourced from RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Dose distribution was assessed in the target region and organs at risk (OAR). The results showed that proton therapy delivered a higher absorbed dose to the cervical target area (34.5 ± 1.5 MeV) than gamma radiation (16.7 ± 2.3 MeV). While both conformed to ICRU Report No. 78, gamma radiation resulted in higher doses to nearby organs such as the rectum and bladder, indicating a greater risk of radiation-induced side effects. Proton therapy offers more targeted dose delivery with reduced exposure to surrounding organs, making it a potentially safer and more effective modality for cervical cancer treatment. These findings underscore the importance of modality selection in optimizing therapeutic outcomes and minimizing complications in radiotherapy.
