Abstract

COVID-19 has had a major impact on all sectors of society, starting from health, the economy, and tourism. The outbreak of the spread of this disease causes a lack of public awareness of the importance of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). PHBS is an effort that can be made by the community to improve the quality of health through individuals, groups, or society at large. As well as the restrictions on community activities, especially in the economic sector, the people's purchasing power decreases for MSME products, precisely in Dalang Village. Therefore, in this community service, UKM KSR-PMI Unit ITB STIKOM Bali held community service in the form of health socialization and socialization of the use of technology. Broadly speaking, this activity is divided into health socialization which aims to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) and socialization of the use of social media technology and e-commerce which aims to improve and help the economy and MSMEs in Dalang Village. . This activity that has been carried out by UKM KSR-PMI Unit ITB STIKOM Bali has a fairly large and good impact on people's understanding which can be seen from the results of the percentage of questionnaires. From this activity 88% showed that participants had understood the socialization material that had been given directly.

Abstract

Simpodial Bali Bambu is a company that uses laminated bamboo as a furniture base. The company is located in Banjar Dinas Bengkel, West Selemadeg, Tabanan Regency, Bali. Through previous research, this effort uses a lamination technique to avoid powder lice, which is the main enemy of bamboo. Laminate itself is a transparent layer and is useful for protecting bamboo so that it is resistant to water, dust mites, and sunlight. A number of products that have been made by this business include chairs, tables and parquet from laminated bamboo. However, this company has problems selling its products. In addition, the management of financial transactions related to the company is still not structured so that the company's profit and loss is not clear. This community service activity aims to overcome partner problems, namely by providing a website as a promotional and educational media about laminated bamboo, providing website management training, and providing training to manage company finances using Microsoft Excel. Monitoring is done by monitoring the development of traffic on the website. Based on the evaluation results, this activity has a satisfaction index of 80.81% with a very good interpretation of the results.

Abstract

Petak Village has utilized technology in the form of a village information system. However, this has not provided maximum convenience, especially for the Petak Village community. This is caused by the lack of maximum utilization of the information system in terms of community needs related to village administration. The lack of public knowledge about how to utilize the information system and the lack of outreach, make these features not be used as they should. The public service most often needed by the community is regarding village administration in the form of a statement letter from the village administration. So far, people have had to come directly to the village office and then apply for the certificate. The process of submitting this letter can be made more concise if using technological assistance. The solutions offered to these problems are divided into two types of activities, namely training on the use of technology, especially web-based, in facilitating activities in the village and holding training on the use of technology that has been provided by Petak Village Apparatuses in terms of village administration services for the community. The initial activity that has been carried out is training regarding the use of technology in the form of healthy internet training, namely digital literacy for the people of Petak Village. Evaluation of activities was carried out at the end of the training and showed an increase in the knowledge of the trainees by 4.875. The second service activity is training in the use of village information systems in submitting letters. The results of the evaluation of community service activities are 51% of community service activities which are stated to be very good.

Abstract

 BEEMA Brownies, a snack manufacturer, has started producing snacks in the form of Brownies-flavored Choco Chips and several other flavors made from good quality ingredients without artificial sweeteners and preservatives. Even though in the middle of a pandemic, we are still optimistic that we can capture a sufficient consumer market because the market need for healthy snacks is still very much needed. With the implementation of Phase 1 activities, namely the provision of production equipment, namely ovens, product packaging tools and 2 sets of baking sheet equipment, the current production capacity of Beema Brownies has increased from a maximum of 150/package per day with an average product requirement of around 100-200 packs/sold. day to 300/pack per day using the 2 ovens that you already have. Training on the use of the equipment provided has also been carried out so that BEEMA production employees are able to use the newly provided oven equipment and packaging equipment. The amount of production has been able to meet the average demand every day. BEEMA Chocochips has also increased the HR capabilities of 2 employees who help produce in an effort to increase the amount of Chocochips production. By having a website for UKM BEEMA Chocchips, they already have the means for digital identity and digital promotional content for their products so that they are known to the wider community. Abstract

Ruangan kerja perlu dibuat nyaman untuk meningkatkan produktivitas staf. Salah satu aspek kenyamanan adalah suhu ruangan. Suhu ruangan yang terjaga yaitu tidak terlalu gerah dan tidak terlalu dingin dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan penghuninya sehingga staf menjadi lebih produktif. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengatur suhu ruangan, salah satunya adalah Air Conditioner (AC). Namun, suhu yang diatur pada AC tidak sama dengan suhu aktual di ruangan tersebut. Suhu pada ruangan dipengaruhi oleh tenaga AC, luas ruangan, jumlah penghuni, dan suhu di luar ruangan. Pengaturan suhu AC yang tepat menjadi permasalahan karena ruangan bisa saja masih panas atau terlalu dingin. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pada umumnya dilakukan trial and error sehingga suhu AC diganti berulang kali hingga tercapainya suhu ruangan yang diinginkan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, menentukan suhu AC yang tepat dapat dilakukan dengan membangun sistem prediksi yang menerapkan machine learning. Namun, sebelum sistem prediksi dapat diterapkan, dibutuhkan data untuk proses training. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat alat yang dapat mengumpulkan data tersebut secara otomatis dan konsisten. Alat yang dibuat adalah alat dengan sistem tertanam (embedded system) berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Alat yang dibuat berhasil mengumpulkan data sebanyak 4580 secara konsisten setiap lima menit.

Abstract

Visitor data or the number of visitors at a particular location is crucial information to be obtained. This data can serve various purposes, particularly in enhancing customer satisfaction. For instance, predicting the number of visitors at tourist destinations enables tourism management to be better prepared for welcoming and providing optimal services to arriving visitors. Visitor count data can also be employed to automatically restrict visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment with limited attendees. To acquire visitor data, a system capable of accurate visitor detection is required. This research utilizes computer vision to detect visitor faces. The developed system, programmed in Python, functions by detecting visitor faces and conducting a count based on the detected faces. To prevent the same visitor from being detected multiple times, a facial recognition method with dynamic facial data collection is implemented in this study. The constructed system successfully counted 27 out of 28 visitors over a two-day period. However, the system has limitations, particularly in terms of the restricted detection area. Therefore, a physical mechanism mandating visitors to undergo facial scanning and registration needs to be established, ensuring recorded data corresponds to the actual visitor count.

Abstract

Perpustakaan STIKOM Bali berperan penting dalam mendukung pembelajaran dan riset dengan koleksi yang luas dan up-to-date. Untuk meningkatkan layanan, perpustakaan mengadopsi pendekatan proaktif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pengguna melalui website. Hasil kuesioner digunakan untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna dan merancang perbaikan yang sesuai. Namun, mengelompokkan jawaban kuesioner seringkali menimbulkan tantangan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian klasifikasi menggunakan metode TF-IDF dan algoritma Multinomial Naive Bayes untuk mengelompokkan jawaban secara efisien dilakukan. Data awal berisi 5264 kata, di mana 53% merupakan stop word. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai teknik pra pemrosesan dan class balancing. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa lowercase conversion tidak berpengaruh pada klasifikasi, namun penghapusan stop word menurunkan performa. Spelling correction meningkatkan performa, tetapi dengan class balancing ROS, precision dan F1-score sedikit menurun. Secara keseluruhan, class balancing ROS meningkatkan performa klasifikasi. Pra pemrosesan tidak selalu meningkatkan performa klasifikasi, sehingga diperlukan eksperimen lebih lanjut dengan berbagai teknik pra pemrosesan untuk mendapatkan model optimal.

Abstract

Frozen food is a popular preservation method nowadays. The main benefits of frozen food include extending shelf life, reducing waste, and maintaining nutritional value as well as the quality of taste and texture. Meatballs are an example of popular frozen food. A major advantage of frozen meatballs is the convenience of storage, allowing access at any time without worrying about quality deterioration. One business that produces frozen meatballs is Bakso Mamita, a small-scale home industry with limited capacity. They rely on a Pre Order (PO) system due to limited stock and equipment. Some customers are sometimes unwilling to wait for the PO process, causing this business to often lose potential customers. The ability of this business to provide or stock goods needs to be improved to grow. Moreover, if the stock issue can be resolved, this business also needs to enhance sales or marketing so that the stored products sell well. Activities were carried out by providing assistance in the form of a freezer to increase the availability of goods. In addition, digital marketing and content creation training were provided to boost sales from the increased availability of goods. Based on the evaluation results, the availability of goods in this business increased by 1233%, with sales increasing by 111.84%. Digital marketing and digital content training activities increased partners' basic understanding by an average of 76.5%.
