Abstract

Reading logs are a method that can be used to make it easier for students to understand text or a reading in English subjects that aims to make a small note to remember important things in reading. With this method, researcher aim to improve students' skill in reading well. This research has several stages, which include the observation stage, preparation stage, implementation stage, and final stage. At that stage, the researcher conducted a pre-test and post-test to get the initial value and changes in students' reading skill using the reading logs method in the final stage. From the results of the research, researcher found significant changes in the reading skill of students with the following detailed results: skills worth 0.081 in the experimental class and 0.067 in the control class, exceeding the significant value ≥ α = 0.05. and a statistically significant value of 0.374 was declared homogeneous because it was greater than the significant level of 0.05 and in accordance with the hypothesis test that has been tested has a significant value of 0.000 and a significant level of 0.05, it has a significant effect in the application of the reading logs method.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is that there are still many students' writing abilities which are still lacking, because educators at SD Negeri 01 Lubai Ulu still rarely use learning media which aims to develop students' initial writing skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of KATAM media on the initial writing ability of the first graders of SD Negeri 1 Lubai Ulu. The research method used is an experimental method using KATAM media (picture word cards). The subjects of this study were students in class I A and I B of SD Negeri 01 Lubai Ulu, which consisted of 49 students. Methods of data collection using tests and documentation. The test instrument was in the form of essay questions which totaled 10 questions to measure students' writing results. Data analysis technique using Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that the influence of ritatoon media can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students in Indonesian language material which can be seen from the results of learning to test the hypothesis (Independent Sample T-Test) in the form of a significance value in this study, namely 0.000 <0.05, which means Ho is rejected Ha is accepted Keywords: KATAM Media, Student Beginning Writing

Abstract

The background of one of the subjects that must be given in elementary schools is Indonesian.The scope of learning Indonesian in elementary schools includes 4 (four) components of language skills, namely listening / listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The above problem makes the author feel the need to conduct a study entitled "The Effect of Word Arranging Game Techniques on Indonesian Subjects on the Reading Ability of Grade I Students of SDN 24 Gelumbang"This research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of word composing game techniques on the reading ability of grade I students of SDN 24 Gelumbang. Experimental research methods are research methods used to look for the effect of certain treatments (treatments) under controlled conditions. The subjects of this study were grade I students of SD Negeri 24 Gelumbang totaling 24 students. The data collection method uses observation, tests, and documentation. The test instrument is in the form of multiple-choice questions totaling 20 questions to measure the results of students' reading skills. Data analysis technique using Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that the influence of word composing game techniques can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students in Indonesian subjects which can be seen from the learning results of the hypothesis test (Independent Sample T-Test) in the form of the significance value of this study, which is 0.000< 0.05 which Ho rejected Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that "There is an influence of word composing games in Indonesian subjects on the reading ability of grade I students of SDN 24 Gelumbang".

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools which is less varied is the cause of students' difficulties and lack of learning outcomes. Therefore, there is a need for learning media that can help students be active in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using Android-based Energy Change Application Media on Science Learning Material on Energy Change Class III at SDN 10 Palembang. This type of research is Pre-Experimental and uses a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Research Design consisting of one class, namely class III. The population was 23 students and the sample was 23 students. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics and inferential statistical data analysis. Based on the Pretest results, the average score for student learning outcomes is 35 with a very low score of 10, so it can be said that the level of students' ability to understand the test and mastery of science material before using the Android-based Energy Change Application media is relatively low. Meanwhile, the average score after learning using the Android-based Energy Change Application media (posttest) was 81.52 from 23 students, 21 students met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) or were in the high category. The results of inferential analysis using the t-test showed that tcount = 2.608 and ttable = 2.079, so we obtained tcount>ttable or 2.608>2.079, as well as with the normality test, sig values ​​of more than > 0.05, the data is normal. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Android-based Energy Change Application Media has an influence on science learning outcomes on energy change material in class III at SDN 10 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) The influence of the principal's managerial ability on teacher performance; (2) The influence of the principal's motivation on teacher performance; (3) The influence of the principal's managerial ability and motivation together on teacher performance. This study is a quantitative study with a correlation method. This study was conducted at an elementary school in Rambutan District with 42 teachers as respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The validity test used the product moment formula while the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha. The analysis prerequisite test used the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, and the data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was an influence between the principal's managerial ability on teacher performance of 10.5%; (2) there was an influence between the principal's motivation on teacher performance of 48.8%; (3) there was an influence between the principal's managerial ability and motivation on teacher performance of 46.1%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media permainan UTANG (ular tangga) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD Negeri 96 Palembang.Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari dua kelas dengan teknik sampel sensus yaitu, siswa kelas V A dan V B di SD Negeri 96 Palembang.Penelitian ini menggunkan metode penelitian eksperimen.Metode pengumpulan data aktivitas siswa melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda.Dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Metode analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji Independent Sampel T-test. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 87,85 dan kelas kontrol 76,42. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh = 3,678 dan = 1,706 dengan taraf signifikan = 0,05. Berarti , maka dapat disimpulkan ditolak dan diterima. Menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media permainan UTANG (ular tangga) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD Negeri 96 Palembang.
