Abstract

Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) merupakan kebijakan strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan anak sekolah dan mendukung keberlanjutan pendidikan. Urgensi program ini terletak pada perannya dalam mengatasi ketimpangan gizi, meningkatkan daya konsentrasi, serta mengurangi angka putus sekolah akibat keterbatasan akses terhadap makanan bergizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak jangka panjang program MBG terhadap kesehatan dan keberlanjutan pendidikan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus pada sekolah yang telah menerapkan program MBG selama lebih dari lima tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pemangku kepentingan, observasi partisipatif, serta analisis data sekunder dari laporan evaluasi program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program MBG berpotensi dalam menurunkan angka stunting dan malnutrisi pada anak sekolah, meningkatkan kehadiran siswa di kelas, serta memperbaiki capaian akademik mereka. Selain itu, program ini juga mendorong keterlibatan komunitas dalam mendukung penyediaan pangan bergizi yang berkelanjutan. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam aspek pendanaan, ketersediaan bahan pangan lokal, serta mekanisme distribusi yang perlu diperbaiki agar program dapat berjalan optimal. Kesimpulannya, program MBG memiliki dampak positif dalam jangka panjang terhadap kesehatan dan keberlanjutan pendidikan siswa, tetapi perlu strategi kebijakan yang lebih kuat untuk memastikan efektivitas dan keberlanjutannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat  meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran rumah fantasi di kelas VIIF SMP Negeri 1 Sitiung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research), dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIIF yang berjumlah sebanyak 30 orang peserta didik. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi, catatan lapangan, lembar tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi pada siklus I dan II. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian terkait dengan hasil belajar, menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran rumah fantasi ini dapat meningkatkan  hasil belajar peserta didik, karena peserta didik  sudah berhasil mencapai KKM yang telah ditetapkan. Hal itu dapat dibuktikan dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar peserta didik dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I (47%) dan siklus II (93%).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Islamic education curriculum in instilling social awareness values in early childhood at Hatinia Barokah Kindergarten, North Labuhanbatu. A qualitative descriptive approach was used to gather data through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and the principal, and documenting learning analysis. The results showed that social values, such as empathy, mutual assistance, and cooperation, are involved in daily activities through habituation methods, such as sharing food, cleaning the environment together, and helping friends. Teachers act as role models who teach these values by providing direct examples in daily social interactions. Furthermore, this study found the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in strengthening the instillation of social values, which creates a supportive educational environment. Challenges faced include differences in family backgrounds and limited teacher training in social-based character education. This study concluded that despite these challenges, a habituation-based approach and parental involvement can strengthen the implementation of the Islamic education curriculum in shaping children's social character. This research contributes to the development of an early childhood education curriculum based on social values and Islamic character.

Abstract

In contemporary higher education, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is increasingly expected to prepare learners for meaningful professional participation rather than isolated linguistic performance. Nevertheless, ESP pedagogy has often remained predominantly skill-oriented, with limited conceptual integration of pedagogical innovations such as project-based learning and digital learning. This study presents a systematic literature review of 40 peer-reviewed studies examining how ESP pedagogy is being reframed as situated professional practice through the integration of project-based and digital learning. Following the process of thematic synthesis, the review provides an examination of what ESP learning is perceived to be, how it is conducted and how it is evaluated in different disciplines and countries. Results show a marked pedagogical transition from a language-centric approach to one that incorporated more authenticity, collaboration and professional concern. Reported learning attainments go beyond language to cover professional capability, digital literacy, autonomous learning and identity development. Project-based learning authenticates language use in professional workflows, and digital learning environments support multimodal communication reminiscent of the way people work today. This review contends that in combination, these perspectives re-conceptualise the pedagogical nature of ESP as a type of applied professional education ’realised’ within particular social, institutional and discipline specific contexts. By synthesizing empirical evidence across settings, the study offers a conceptual reframing of ESP pedagogy and outlines implications for curriculum design, assessment, and future research in higher education and the social humanities.
