Abstract

Pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi adalah pembelajaran orang dewasa yang mengantarkan pembelajar pada kehidupan nyata di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, seyogianya pembelajaran dirancang untuk membekali pembelajar berkarya atau bekerja di dunia nyata dan dirancang sebagai adult learning. Secara umum alumni Workshop Desain Pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi oleh Center For Teaching Staff Development (CTSD) mengungkapkan bahwa workshop itu menyenangkan, inspiratif, dan membantu mereka untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dosen, terutama di bidang paedagogik. Secara umum alumni workshop, pemangku kepentingan/pengguna maupun fasilitator mengharap CTSD ke depan lebih meningkatkan kiprah dan keterlibatannya di UIN Sunan Kalijaga.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, adult learning, profesionalisme THE IMPACT OF LEARNING DESIGN WORKSHOP CONDUCTED BY CENTER FOR TEACHING STAFF DEVELOPMENT (CTSD) ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF TEACHING PROFESSIONALISMAbstractLearning in college is learning that sends adult learners in real life in the community. Abstract

Lecturers/educators in learning have a vital role, especially in building the integration-interconnection paradigm in students. Lecturers/educators must be able to bridge students by combining religious knowledge and general science. This paper aims to determine how the implementation of integration-interconnection in Ulumul Hadith learning at the Sociology Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The research method in writing this article uses a qualitative research type. This study collects data from the field by producing descriptive data in words or verbal (narrative). Data were collected through active participation observation and documentation methods. The approach used is phenomenological. The collected data will be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, namely data reduction, display, and conclusion. This study found that integration-interconnection in Ulumul Hadith learning has been formulated by lecturers/educators in RPS. As for its application in integration-interconnection learning is implemented in five levels, namely the philosophical level, the level of research methods and approaches, the material level, the strategy level, and the evaluation level. In general, integration and interconnection in Ulumul Hadith learning in the Sociology Study Program has been implemented.

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the death rituals carried out by Muslims in the Priangan region known as ngajahul. Ngajahul is done on the sixth or seventh day after the death.  Ritual analysis of the death illustrates that the ritual  is not only a spiritual-fiqhiyyah aspect, but also has a role in describing social relations. The graveyard  or a cemetery, is not only shows the grave, but also describes the relationship between the deceased, the family and the social environment. This research usesa sociological perspective to produce the concept of relationship between rituals of death and society, especially related to the issue of maintaining social cohesion. This concept illustrates that rituals of thedeath are not as depicted in recitation forums that see the death rituals as a tradition loaded with spiritual nuanced. Ngajahul is a tradition that also produces social interaction and involvement in social life simultaneously Tulisan  ini menyajikan sebuah analisis tentang ritual kematian yang dilakukan oleh umat Islam di wilayah Priangan yang dikenal dengan istilah ngajahul.  Ngajahul dilakukan pada hari ke enam atau ketujuh setelah kematian. Analisis  mengenai ritual kematian menggambarkan bahwa ritual kematian bukan hanya merupakan aspek yang bersifat sipiritual-fiqhiyyah, namun juga memiliki peran dalam menggambarkan relasi sosial. Bangunan kuburan yang terhampar di tempat pemakaman, bukan hanya menunjukkan kuburan an sich, tetapi juga menggambarkan relasi antara orang yang meninggal, keluarga dan lingkungan sosialnya. Penelitian dengan cara pandang normatif-sosiologis ini menghasilkan konsep bahwa  ritual kematian  dan masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat muslim dalam berbagai aspeknya  disebut sebagai mengandung kohesi sosial.  Konsep ini memberikan gambaran bahwa ritual kematian tidaklah sebagaimana digambarkan dalam forum-forum pengajian  yang melihat ritual kematian  sebagai tradisi yang sarat dengan  ritual yang bernuansa spiritual. Ngajahul merupakan tradisi yang menghasilkan  interaksi sosial dan keterlibatan-keterlibatan dalam kehidupan sosial yang diproduksi secara bersamaan.

Abstract

This article aims to enhance the quality of paper submitted to Jurnal Sosiologi Reflektif (JSR) by exploring some weaknesses of submitted articles to JSR within two last editions of using online journal system. Based on reasons used by the management of JSR in rejecting submitted articles at the first stage, which shows that around 23 percent of them are due to the lack of sociological perspective or framework, it is important to reconsidering the meaning of employing sociological perspective the the article. The ability to understand the basic characteristics of sociological analysis becomes the most fundamental requirements in producing a good sociological article. How we should formulate a good sociological question will determine the quality of a sociological paper. At this point, reconsidering and understanding how we should use a basic concept of sociological imagination in formulating a research question will help to focus an article on being strongly considered as sociological, in addition to the use of sociological theories. Besides, many articles are not built upon an adequate literature review. Some of them use literature reviews as making a summary of other people have done without further discussing their differences and contributions both theoretically and practically.

Abstract

This article discusses the farewell party of pilgrimage , a tradition thatis very popular in the Muslim community , especially in Yogyakarta, which was conducted before the person’s departure for pilgrimage.The study of the pilgrimage is an integral part of social science studiesthat intersect with religious reality. Not religious studies in the contextof “ theological aspects “ ?, but discusses the meaning of religion inthe lives of individuals. In addition, this article describes how socialinteractions contribute to the religious traditions. Through a phenomenologicalperspective, this paper generates a new concept in thestudy of pilgrimage and community treasures in its various aspects isreferred to as “syncretism in the pilgrimage.” This concept suggeststhat the farewell pilgrimage is not as described by the intellectualswho see Hajj farewell as tradition that implies the meaning of ritual.But the farewell pilgrimage is a tradition that is adjusted from time totime in accordance with the context of its time. This concept generatea view of social interaction and engagement-involvement in social lifeproduced simultaneously through the farewell pilgrimage tradition.Its doesn’t mean a syncretism in religion and cultural context thatimplies magical charges, but syncretism with social practices thatcan not be rationally disputed.

Abstract

Selain dikenal dengan konsep integrasi keilmuan berupa integrasi-interkoneksi dan jaring laba-laba keilmuan. UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, juga mempunyai daya tarik luarbiasa dimata mahasiswa Indonesia. Perihal apakah yang membuat istimewa dan bagaimanakah proses pembelajaran yang diusung di dalamnya, saat ini masih menjadi sebuah pertanyaan yang hendak diketahui jawabannya bagi mereka yang belum pernah menimba ilmu disana. Penelitian ini akan mengungkap dan menganalisis bagaimana proses pembelajaran mahasiswa yang menggunakan paradigma integrasi-interkoneksi. Berita baiknya pembaca tidak perlu terjun ke lapangan secara langsung, karena hanya dengan mambaca artikel ini cukup untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran yang terjadi di kampus ini. Dalam hal ini peneliti terjun langsung ke lapangan pada Prodi Sosiologi dengan mengangkat studi Ulumul Hadis sebagai mata kuliah yang akan disajikan untuk melihat proses dari pembelajaran itu sendiri. Selanjutnya, peneliti akan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian berdasarkan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan hasil wawancara. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran mahasiswa akan bermuara kepada penerapan konsep pembelajaran aktif Student Centre Learning (SCL) di dalam proses pembelajaran pada level perguruan tinggi dengan tipe Problem Based Learning (PBL), discovery learning, self-direct learning, dan contextual learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self-efficacy and academic procrastination in college students. The hypothesis put forward is that there is a negative correlation between self-efficacy and student academic procrastination, with the assumption that the stronger the self-efficacy, the smaller the student's academic procrastination. Conversely, the lower the student's self-efficacy, the greater the student's academic procrastination. This research is a correlational study with a sample of 31 people. Purposive sampling is used in the sampling technique. Questionnaires were used to collect data, data processing using the SPSS 21 application was carried out to find the correlation of the two variables. This study obtained Sig. (2-tailed) with a value of 0.000 <0.05 between self-efficacy and academic procrastination, which indicates that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination. The Pearson Correlation value between self-efficacy and academic procrastination is -0.611, indicating that there is a strong relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination and has a negative sign, which means that the higher the self-efficacy score, the lower the academic procrastination score, or conversely, the lower the self-score efficacy, the higher the value of academic procrastination. ____________________________________________________________ Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara self-efficacy dan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya korelasi negatif antara self-efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa, dengan asumsi semakin kuat self-efficacy maka semakin kecil prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah self-efficacy mahasiswa, maka semakin besar prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan jumlah sampel 31 orang. Purposive sampling digunakan dalam teknik pengambilan sampel. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data,  pengolahan data dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 21 dilakukan untuk mencari korelasi kedua variabel. Studi ini memperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) dengan nilai 0,000 < 0,05 antara self-efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik, yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel self-efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik. Nilai Pearson Correlation antara self-efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik adalah -0,611, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara self-efficacy dengan prokrastinasi akademik dan bertanda negatif, yang mengandung makna semakin tinggi skor self-efficacy maka semakin rendah skor prokrastinasi akademik, atau sebaliknya semakin rendah skor self-efficacy maka semakin tinggi nilai prokrastinasi akademik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove that stereotypes about women are gentle and protective, and irrational because they are only suitable in the domestic sector and are not worthy of being driving actors in the field of philanthropy. However, these stereotypes do not always have a negative impact, but under certain conditions they actually raise concern for vulnerable groups in the era covid-19 pandemic. This can be proven in the women's movement, the community of Kartini UIN SUKA, a community engaged in education and the Fetus and womb community which is engaged in mental health by direct interviews and using content analysis on the Fetus and Womb community Instragram which is strengthened, supported by observations and data from journals and websites. This study concludes that, during the Covid-19 pandemic, with limited space and movement due to the WFH policy, women formed a community engaged in philanthropy as a form of concern for others affected by Covid-19. Providing assistance to students in the form of groceries and educating women on mental health through virtual space is a movement that is urgently needed during the Covid-19 pandemic. This movement is not only beneficial to recipients but is also able to provide a stimulus to other groups to be motivated to foster a diverse attitude towards others even in limited circumstances. The act of driving philanthropy as well as being an actor of change is a way to break through patriarchal culture.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah fenomena cyber religion di media sosial yang memunculkan paradigma baru dalam beragama dan adanya pola pemahaman yang bersifat bebas dan inklusif yang terjadi pada generasi milenial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pandangan mahasiswa psikologi terhadap fenomena cyber religion di era digital dan implikasinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa psikologi UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fenomena cyber religion bermandaat untuk dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar dalam mengkaji islam karena banyak konten-konten yang mengedukasi. Selain itu, cyber religion merupakan tantangan sendiri bagi umat muslim seperti hadirnya Chat GPT, masuknya paham radikal, bahkan tersebarnya berita hoax yang menyebabkan perpecahan antar umat muslim. Cara menanggulanggi hal tersebut adalah memiliki etika bermedia sosial, literasi digital yang mumpuni, dan mengkaji lebih lanjut dengan ahlinya agar terhindar dari interpretasi yang salah. Implikasi dari cyber religion dirasakan langsung dan tidak langsung oleh mahasiswa psikologi UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah atau pendidikan, dan lingkungan masyarakat atau teman sebaya.

Abstract

Islamic philanthropy, which includes concepts such as infaq, sadaqah, and zakat, has great potential to be an effective tool in building students' social awareness. This study aims to examine the potential and effectiveness of optimizing the role of Islamic philanthropy in increasing the social awareness of students of the Sociology Study Program. Islamic philanthropy includes humanitarian values, social solidarity, and concern for the surrounding environment. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research findings show that Islamic philanthropy has great potential to become an agent of change in increasing students' social awareness. In the context of the Sociology Study Program, the implementation of Islamic values in philanthropic activities can enrich students' understanding of social and humanitarian issues.
