Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the application of the flipped classroom learning model to influence class-A students' assesment in the English Literature Study Program at Pakuan University, Bogor. This type of research employs classroom action research with 50 students in class A and B  during the odd semester of 2022/23 enrolled in Poetry class . The collection of data was conducted with the use of speaking tests and observation sheets. Analyzing the data, an average score of 80% of students who had problems with speaking because they did not reach the passing standard value established in the lecture contract, and only 17% of students who were able to achieve the passing grade standard were obtained in the pre-action phase. The cycle I graduation rate increased to 46%, and in cycle II, 100% of students achieved the standard passing score. The results of this study indicate that the flipped classroom learning model can influence students' assessment .Keywords: Poetry Analysis; Flipped Classroom Learning Model, Assesment

Abstract

This study aims to compare Gojek's digital advertising with television advertisements using the AIDA model. A comparative quantitative methodology was utilized in Bogor City. This study examined Gojek users who were exposed to advertisements on both digital media and television. Data were collected through questionnaires using convenience sampling and the Lemeshow formula to determine the sample size. A total of 129 respondents were analysed using the Mann-Whitney nonparametric test. The findings reveal that the average evaluation of Gojek's digital advertising elements is higher than that of television advertisements, showing a significant difference between them. This implies that advertising media choice, based on advertising elements, can have varying impacts on the effectiveness of each medium. Media selection can be tailored to specific companies, such as Gojek in Indonesia, which operates in the technology and transportation sectors and achieves a more effective impact through digital media than through television advertisements. The novelty of this study lies in the use of advertising elements as comparative indicators, in addition, research related to advertising in online transportation companies is still limited, especially in terms of media comparison. Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan iklan digital Gojek dengan iklan televisi menggunakan model AIDA. Metodologi kuantitatif komparatif digunakan di Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengguna Gojek yang terpapar iklan baik di media digital maupun televisi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan teknik convenience sampling dan rumus Lemeshow untuk menentukan ukuran sampel. Sebanyak 129 responden dianalisis menggunakan uji nonparametrik Mann-Whitney. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata penilaian terhadap elemen iklan digital Gojek lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan iklan televisi, menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan di antara keduanya. Hal ini mengimplikasikan bahwa pemilihan media iklan, berdasarkan elemen-elemen iklan, dapat memberikan dampak yang berbeda terhadap efektivitas tiap media. Pemilihan media dapat disesuaikan dengan perusahaan tertentu, seperti Gojek di Indonesia, yang bergerak di sektor teknologi dan transportasi serta mencapai dampak yang lebih efektif melalui media digital dibandingkan dengan iklan televisi. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penggunaan elemen iklan sebagai indikator pembanding, selain itu penelitian terkait periklanan pada perusahaan transportasi online masih relatif terbatas terutama pada perbandingan media.

Abstract

This study presents a community service initiative aimed at empowering a rural community in Indonesia through training in the post-harvest utilisation of rhizomes using pharmaceutical technology, packaging design, and digital marketing. The project involved 20 participants from the Kebun Merdesa community and was conducted by a team of three lecturers and seven students from the University of Pakuan. The training was divided into several stages, including the production of herbal tea, herbal drinks, and kitchen spices, followed by packaging design using the Canva and Pacdora applications and digital marketing using social media platforms and the Buffer application. The results showed significant improvements in the participants' knowledge and skills across all areas, with increases ranging from 31% to 34% in rhizome processing, herbal product manufacturing, packaging design, and digital promotion. These findings align with previous studies that have highlighted the effectiveness of targeted training programs in enhancing participants’ competency in specialised skill areas. The integration of technical production, innovative packaging, and digital marketing has been shown to significantly impacts the economic resilience and competitiveness of small enterprises in rural areas. This initiative demonstrates a practical model for rural community empowerment that can be replicated in other agricultural areas with similar resources and challenges, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals of decent work, economic growth, and responsible consumption and production. The success of this program provides a strong argument for policy support and funding for community-based pharmaceutical product development, contributing to the resilience of rural economies against market fluctuations and climate-related agricultural risks

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan ibu-ibu PKK dan komunitas Kepemudaan di Desa Ciburuy, Kecamatan Cigombong, Kabupaten Bogor melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai pelatihan budidaya tanaman obat, pembuatan simplisia, herbal dan promosi produk menggunakan media sosial. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan dibandingkan dengan masyarakat perkotaan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dan praktik budidaya tanaman obat, pembuatan simplisia, jamu dan promosi produk menggunakan media sosial. Implikasi dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan masyarakat PKK dan Karang Taruna dalam memproduksi tanaman obat dan memasarkan produk berupa simplisia dan jamu bagi generasi milenial sehingga memiliki daya saing dan memperkuat pilar ekonomi dalam mencapai tujuan pembangunan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Agro Eduwisata Organik (AEWO) Mulyaharja is one of the natural and educational tourism in Bogor City and is one of the leading ecotourism in Bogor City which is managed by the Tourism Movement Group (Kompepar). As one of the leading destinations, AEWO Mulyaharja still has many challenges, namely limited skills and promotional media. This community service activity consists of five stages, namely situation analysis, socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation. The training method uses lectures and practices with materials related to social media, social media features, design, video content and video editing. The results of this activity are increased knowledge and skills of Kompepar AEWO Mulyaharja partners regarding the creation of promotional content in the form of images and videos on social media, the use and steps using the Canva and Capcut applications, increasing the number of followers, posts and Engagement rate (ER) on Instagram, adding official accounts on other social media, namely YouTube, X and TikTok

Abstract

ABSTRAK Situ Gede merupakan salah satu wisata alam di Kota Bogor dan merupakan salah satu ekowisata unggulan di Kota Bogor yang pengelolaannya dilakukan oleh Kelompok Penggerak Pariwisata (Kompepar) Situ Gede. Sebagai salah satu ekowisata unggulan, Situ Gede masih terdapat banyak permasalahan seperti kebersihan dan terbatasnya keterampilan dan media promosi. Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini dengan pelatihan dan praktik dalam menggunakan media sosial sebagai media promosi.Tujuan dari kegiatan  Pengabdian  kepada  Masyarakat  (PkM)  ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai promosi dengan menggunakan video tour 360. Kegiatan PkM yang telah dilaksanakan berdasarkan kebutuhan mitra yaitu kelompok penggerak pariwisata (kompepar) untuk meningkatkan promosi ekowisata. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM berupa peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai kamera 360 dan pembuatan video tour 360 ekowisata Situ Gede. Berdasarkan jawaban peserta melalui kuesioner diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan terkait kamera 360, langkah-langkah membuat video mulai dari pra dan produksi, sedangkan peningkatan keterampilan terdiri dari menggunakan kamera 360, produksi video dan publikasi. Kata Kunci: Ekowisata Situ Gede, Kompepar, Promosi, Video Tour 360  ABSTRACT Situ Gede is one of the natural tourist attractions in Bogor City and is one of the leading ecotourism in Bogor City whose management is carried out by the Situ Gede Tourism Driving Group (Kompepar). As one of the leading ecotourism sites, Situ Gede still has many problems such as cleanliness and limited skills and promotional media. The activities carried out in this service include training and practice in using social media as promotional media. The aim of this Community Service activity is to increase knowledge and skills regarding promotions using 360 video tours. The PkM activities that have been implemented are based on partner needs, namely tourism driving group (kompepar) to increase ecotourism promotion. The results of PkM activities are increasing knowledge about 360 cameras and making a 360 video tour of Situ Gede ecotourism. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to (1) determine the image of SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit school according to the parents of students (2) to determine parents' decisions in choosing educational services at SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit (3) to analyze the effect of school image on parents' decisions to choose a school at SDIT Zaid Bin Thabit. This research is a quantitative study using SPSS 25. Using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The population and sample in this study were parents of SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit students. The population is 288 parents of students. The sample used was 81 samples using the non-probability sampling technique. The results showed (1) the image of the school at SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit obtained the average value of the variable in the very good category from parents. This can be seen from the results that have been determined. (2) parents' decision to make a decision to choose a school at SDIT Zaid Bin gets the variable average score in the very good category. (3) based on the results of data analysis and field research, it is known that school image has a real influence on parents' decisions to choose a school. The effect of school image on parents' decision to choose a school at SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit is 63%, while the remaining 37% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) untuk mengetahui citra sekolah SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit menurut orang tua siswa (2) untuk mengetahui keputusan orang tua dalam memilih jasa pendidikan di SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit (3) untuk menganalisa pengaruh citra sekolah terhadap keputusan orang tua memilih sekolah di SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan SPSS 25. Menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu orangtua siswa SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit. Populasi sebanyak 288 orangtua siswa. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 81 sampel dengan teknik nonprobability sampling, Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) citra sekolah di SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit mendapatkan nilai rataan variabel dengan kategori sangat baik dari orangtua siswa. hal tersebut dilihat dari hasil yang telah ditentukan. (2) keputusan orangtua terhadap pengambilan keputusan memilih sekolah di SDIT Zaid Bin mendapatkan nilai rataan variabel dengan kategori sangat baik. (3) berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan penelitian dilapangan diketahui bahwa citra sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadap keputusan orangtua memilih sekolah. Pengaruh citra sekolah terhadap keputusan orangtua memilih sekolah di SDIT Zaid Bin Tsabit sebesar 63% sedangkan sisanya 37% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada pada penelitian kali ini.

Abstract

This study examines Pakuan University's scholarly output from 2010 to 2024 using Scopus data. The investigation encompassed research productivity, trends, subject areas, publication sources, author contributions, and collaborative efforts. Pakuan University produced 685 papers, with Scopus publications showing rapid growth, with a 32.7% yearly increase. An average citation count of 3,867 per document suggests a moderate impact. Among 1,780 contributing authors, only 12 papers were single-authored, emphasising the prevalence of collaborative research. The primary research domains include Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Environmental Sciences, Social Science, and Computer Science. Recent research has focused on topics such as in silico, sustainability, job satisfaction, and smart villages. The main publication outlets are conference proceedings and journals, notably the IOP Conference Series, AIP Conference Proceedings, International Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering, and Journal of Engineering Science and Technology. The five most productive authors are Anna Permanasari, Diana Widiastuti, Eneng Tita Tosida, Johan Iskandar and Mochamad Yunus, whilst the most influential are Anna Permanasari, Diana Widiastuti, Eneng Tita Tosida and Dolly Priatna. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) leads in contributions, followed by the postgraduate school and the faculty of engineering. Collaborative publications are predominantly from Indonesian institutions, such as the Indonesian Education University and IPB University, with international partnerships including Japan, Malaysia, and China.

Abstract

This research stems from declining public political participation in the 2024 Regional Elections (Pilkada) in Bogor City and Regency. Indonesia, one of the world's largest democracies, faces low civic engagement in the electoral process, which is influenced by literacy and access to political information. This study aims to identify the main sources of political information; assess the knowledge, interest, and political participation of voters; and compare political behavior between urban and sub-urban areas. This research uses a quantitative explanatory approach with a survey method on 402 respondents from the Final Voter List (DPT) for the 2024 Pilkada. Descriptive tests and difference tests (t-test and Mann-Whitney. The results show that social media is the dominant source of political information in both areas, with the highest usage compared to conventional media, such as television and newspapers. Bogor City residents have more varied media consumption, indicating better digital literacy compared to Bogor Regency residents who rely more on social media. Political knowledge in both regions is relatively similar, but political interest and participation are higher in bogor. The difference tests showed significant differences emerge in participation and interest, with urban residents being more active in online and offline political activity. Overall, the study highlights that Indonesia’s increasingly digitalized democracy fosters broader information access but requires greater emphasis on digital literacy and civic education to transform online engagement into meaningful democratic participation. This study recommends strengthening digital political literacy through creative content, collaborating with digital platforms to counter disinformation, and establishing digital literacy agents at subdistrictrict level to encourage inclusive political engagement.
