Abstract

An aquatic industry needs a good fluid flow measurement control system. Determination of the quantity of water is reduced because the volume of water in the holding tank varies. The effort to overcome this problem is made a system of performance regulation of water flow based on the volume of tanks with PID controls based on Imperalis Competitive Algorithm (ICA). This system uses ICA as a PID controller controller on a mini computer, flow sensor as a water speed detector, electric ball valve as an actuator. The working principle of this tool is to stabilize the output water speed per minute at a predetermined set point. This study compares 3 models; without control, PID control, PID Ziegler Nichols control, and PID controlled ICA controls. The simulation results in the study showed that the best control design in the study was the PID-ICA with the smallest overshot water level of 0.0154 pu, the smallest undershot water level of 0.0134 pu, the smallest overshot flow of 0.0102 pu, and the smallest undershot of 0.0097 pu.

Abstract

Technically, Microhydro has three main components in generation, namely water (as an energy source), turbine, and generator. Water flowing with a certain capacity is channeled to the height of a certain house (turbine house). Water discharge is regulated by a water discharge regulating valve. In a power house, the water installation will pound the turbine, the turbine will receive energy directly from the water and turn it into mechanical energy. The shaft is then transmitted to the generator using a clutch. Because of frequent fluctuations in the frequency and voltage of the system which can cause damage to electrical equipment. Therefore optimization of the water flow valve control is used so that the frequency control can be more stable. To obtain optimal control parameters on a micro hydroelectric power generation system, the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) method is used. The results of this study will be tried by other methods, the results of which may be better.

Abstract

The use of fossil energy as an electric fuel causes the earth to experience global-warming. As a tropical country, Indonesia has great potential to develop solar energy as a substitute for fossil energy. Increased efficiency in capturing sunlight will further optimize the work of the Solar Power Plant (PLTS). One way that can be done is by making a solar tracker so that the Solar Panel can follow the direction of the sun's motion. Optimization Design The solar tracker uses dual axis using Proportional Integral Differential (PID) control tuned with the Imperialis Competitive Algorithm (ICA), which is expected to be able to get the right angle between the yaw and Pitch with Azimuth and Elevation Angle. The PID-ICA controller design is done using matlab software. For vertical and horizontal rotary axes it is expected to obtain the best PID-ICA constant, which in turn will affect the performance and optimization of the photovoltaic system. The best optimization results using ICA-based PID with a settling time value of 0.0906 s on the horizontal axis and 0.094 s on the vertical axis

Abstract

Providing irrigation water on agricultural land aims to meet plants' water needs. In its use, irrigation water must be used optimally. An automatic irrigation system is needed to provide water to plants in the desired conditions. The irrigation canal system is a simulation system using a software program Matlab 2013b. Reconfiguration simulations applied to irrigation systems are used to increase efficiency and determine the amount of irrigation water to regulate the provision of irrigation water according to needs. As a controller comparison, an artificial intelligence method is used for controller tuning based on the Modified Firefly Algorithm (MFA). The furthest water discharge results can be reduced in the reconfiguration model with a minimum discharge before reconfiguration of 0.91308 pu, and after reconfiguration, it becomes 0.93337 pu. So by reconfiguring the network with MFA, you can reduce water discharge losses by 30.3337% from previous losses

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic, Indonesia's education system transformed with the introduction of the "Kurikulum Merdeka." However, its implementation remains limited. To support this, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo conducted a community service program (PKM) by developing an online report card web application at MTs Tarbiyatul Wathon Gresik. The target audience is school leaders and teachers. The methods used include lectures, discussions, and tutorials. The results show that the web application successfully facilitated the entry and monitoring of student grades, allowing data import from Excel to the application, and enabling easy printing of mid-term report cards. This application improves efficiency, organization, and flexibility in managing student grades, contributing positively to the educational transformation in the digital era.

Abstract

Saluran irigasi sangat penting untuk pertanian karena memastikan pasokan air yang cukup untuk tanaman yang berdampak pada hasil panen dan produktivitas pertanian. Untuk memastikan distribusi air yang tepat dan penggunaan sumber daya yang berkelanjutan, sangat penting untuk mengelola saluran irigasi dengan baik. Rekonfigurasi saluran air irigasi pada lahan pertanian bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perairan sawah. Dalam penggunaannya, air irigasi harus digunakan secara maksimal. Sistem irigasi otomatis diperlukan untuk menyediakan air bagi tanaman pada kondisi yang diinginkan. Dalam rekonfigurasi ini menggunakan satu saluran primer, 26 saluran sekunder, dan 5 saluran rekayasa yang akan digunakan sebagai alternative saluran. Pada sistem rekonfigurasi irigasi ini menggunakan simulasi sistem kendali dengan menggunakan program software Matlab 2013b. Simulasi pengendalian yang diterapkan pada prototipe irigasi digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan menentukan jumlah air irigasi yang dibutuhkan untuk mengatur distribusi air irigasi sesuai kebutuhan. Sebagai perbandingan pengontrol, digunakan metode kecerdasan buatan untuk penyetelan pengontrol berdasarkan Binary Firefly Algorithm (BFA). Hasil debit air terjauh dapat dikurangi pada model rekonfigurasi dengan metode BFA. Sebelum rekonfigurasi terjadi pengurangan air sebesar 89,724 m3 dan setelah rekonfigurasi hanya berkurang 50,7355m3. Jadi konfigurasi ulang jaringan dengan BFA dapat mengurangi kehilangan debit air sebesar 43,4538%. Dengan demikian kebutuhan air irigasi dapat dipenuhi sampai titik ujung.

Abstract

Desa Tanjungwadung memiliki kondisi geografis yang khas dan kini Desa Tanjungwadung juga tengah berupaya meningkatkan potensi wisata dan ekonomi lokal melalui pengembangan berbagai fasilitas, salah satunya adalah Kolam Renang Desa Tanjungwadung. Sampai saat ini belum terdapat gapura yang menjadi penanda pintu masuk Wisata Kolam Renang Desa Tanjungwadung. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan desain gapura Desa Wisata Tanjungwadung yang dapat menjadi sebuah identitas penanda wilayah dan diwujudkan dalam bentuk gapura sebagai pintu gerbang. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan menerapkan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD) atau Diskusi Kelompok Terarah dengan tahapan observasi lapangan, wawancara bersama pemangku kepentingan, perancangan desain gapura, dan evaluasi hasil gapura. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, disepakati untuk memberi penamaan tempat wisata kolam renang sebagai “TIRTA WISATA”, sementara gapuranya diberi nama “GUNDO WIJOYO” dengan tambahan tulisan “SURA JAYANINGRAT LEBUR DENING PANGASTUTI”. Selanjutnya aspek rancangan desain yang disepakati adalah terdapat unsur yang meliputi: enam pilar yang berdiri kokoh, bentuk dinding dibuat menjulang, terdapat simbol matahari, memiliki warna dasar biru muda, serta terdaoat aksen warna biru tua. Harapannya hasil dari kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan nilai estetika area wisata, tetapi juga berdampak pada peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar melalui peningkatan jumlah pengunjung.

Abstract

Provision of irrigation water on agricultural land aims to meet crop water needs. In its utilization, irrigation water must be used optimally. An automatic irrigation system is needed that is able to provide water for plants with the expected conditions. PID (Proportional, Integral and Derivative) is widely used for optimization of control systems. In irrigation control system and sensor connection with software program (Matlab 2013b). PID simulation was applied to the irrigation prototype used to increase efficiency and determine the amount of irrigation water to regulate the provision of irrigation water as needed. As a comparison controller, conventional PID (PID-Konv) was used, Matlab auto tuning PID (PID-Auto), and Bat Algorithm tuning PID (PID-BA). The simulation results show that PID-BA is the best method in the simulation with the smallest overshot (0.043) and the fastest settlingtime (84 seconds).
