Abstract

This study aims to explore an integrated framework that integrates SECI knowledge management, basic fishing techniques, diversity of ecological knowledge, innovation abilities, fisherman's performance. The research design uses descriptive quantitative research, and the research methodology uses survey research with 150 respondents with purposive sampling in Kupang district, West Nusa Tenggara, which forms the target population. Statistical techniques use confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS4 to test hypotheses. The test revealed a significant increase in the overall score of the trainees and skills. The specific score for the X2 table value was 149.334 compared to the calculated X2 value of 944.501, so the form of this model can be said to be FIT because X2 count X2 table. Furthermore, the value of Adjusted R Square gives a more substantial picture than R Square in assessing the ability of an exogenous construct to explain endogenous constructs, namely BFT_0.788, DEK_0.815, FP_0.636 and IA_0.725. Furthermore, the path coefficient values in this study are FP_ - IA_0.852, IA_ - BFT_0.324, IA_ - DEK_0.525, SKM_ - BFT_ 0.605, SKM_ - DEK_0.423 and SKM_- FP_0.798. From these tests, only BFT and DEK were seen to be less than 0.5. The results show that process knowledge management affects several observational variables, namely organizational knowledge, information management affects the nautical ability, process knowledge management involves Fishing basic techniques, Diversity of ecological expertise, maritime learning through mediators, Information management, and organizational knowledge. Therefore, the application of computer-based SECI knowledge management in this study is said to be significant.

Abstract

This study applies the Fishbein and Ajzen model to develop a Scientific Attitude Measurement Instrument for Students, focusing on attitudes, beliefs, and intentions towards scientific behaviors. The quantitative research employs an instrument development method, initially constructing dimensions reflecting various scientific attitudes such as attitudes towards the scientific method, collaboration, openness to knowledge, criticality, respect, honesty, independence, and interest in data analysis. The instrument measures students' scientific attitudes across three main dimensions: attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control, aligning with the Fishbein and Ajzen model. It covers key aspects like attitudes towards the scientific method, emphasizing rigorous approaches like Popper's Falsification concept, and the importance of social interaction in scientific collaboration. Validity and reliability analyses confirm the instrument's adherence to high-quality standards, making it relevant for assessing scientific attitudes and contributing to educational quality and student development in science. It provides a comprehensive view of students' perceptions and responses to scientific attitudes. Factor Loadings in the Rotated Component Matrix, with loadings above 0.50, indicate a strong correlation within the model. Cronbach's Alpha values range from 0.922 to 0.941, ensuring internal consistency and reliability. Exploratory Factor Analysis with student participants established the construct's validity and reliability, with a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.747, indicating suitability for factor analysis. Most items showed high analytical validity, but items B22 and B13 require further review or adjustment.

Abstract

The lack of formal job access and limited employment sectors in rural areas have increased unemployment and poverty rates. Expanding rural entrepreneurship is a potential solution to create job opportunities and increase rural communities' income. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy needs to be developed to strengthen social capital and support the sustainability of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). This research examines efforts to build entrepreneurship in the village environment through innovations implemented in BUMDes. It explores innovative strategies used by BUMDes to enhance the village's economic potential, focusing on developing local businesses, empowering the community, and improving access to resources. The research methods used include surveys, interviews, and quantitative data analysis. The results show that BUMDes and their partners have a good relationship, and BUMDes managers regularly communicate with their partners. However, BUMDes managers must also establish good communication with community members and local leaders. If BUMDes managers can build strong relationships with village residents, they will find it easier to obtain support, information, and helpful advice for managing BUMDes. BUMDes managers are categorized as having a high level of support for those in the community who have difficulty accessing business capital loans. Furthermore, the results of the path analysis reveal that there is no statistically significant relationship between the variables of experience (X1), motivation (X1), ICT media role (X3), and social capital capacity (Y1). This means that in the context of this study, these three independent variables do not significantly impact social capital capacity (Y1). These findings can guide the government, community, and relevant stakeholders in supporting efforts to build rural entrepreneurship through BUMDes innovations.
