Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the science learning process and the teaching materials used by teachers in science learning. The type of research to be conducted is descriptive quantitative research. Respondents in this study were 26 students of class VIIIA MtsN 6 Sijunjung. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire filled out by students and an interview sheet with the educator. The result of the research is that the science learning process is more predominantly carried out through the lecture method compared to the experimental / practicum / inquiry labs method by 83% and the teaching materials most often used by teachers in science learning are textbooks by 85%. Science learning has not facilitated students to have scientific literacy because science learning is more often carried out by the lecture method. Thus, teachers need to develop appropriate teaching materials in order to increase students' motivation and scientific literacy.

Abstract

The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has had a significant impact in the world of education, educators are required to master technology and use it to support learning towards digitalization. The ability of educators at SMPN 41 Padang in making learning media is still not varied, in general they still use powerpoint. The service was carried out in one day at SMPN 41 Padang, attended by all teachers at SMPN 41 Padang, this service in the form of cmaptools media training went smoothly, starting with the delivery of material by the resource person then the next session was the practice of making cmaptools media. With this cmaptools media training, it is hoped that teachers will be skilled in making more innovative, varied and interactive learning media. IT-based learning media is needed in the industrial revolution era 4.0.

Abstract

Keterampilan abad 21 merupakan keterampilan yang harus dikuasai siswa agar mampu bersaing di era revolusi 4.0 ini. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan guru adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar  digital yang sesuai dengan kondisi saat ini. Bahan ajar dikembangkan berbasis suatu model pembelajaran agar mempermudah pencapaian kompetensi yang diharapkan.  Model CPS membantu siswa menguasai keterampilan  abad ke-21. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar digital (e-modul) berbasis model CPS terintegrasi keterampilan abad 21.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prototipe e-modul berbasis model CPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe e-modul fisika berdasarkan model CPS teintegrasi keterampilan abad 21 sudah memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan nilai 89,06 dari perspektif guru dan 80,93 dari perspektif siswa

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah fisika pada peserta didik tingkat SMP, dan menganalisis penyebab peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah fisika. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari bacaan 10 artikel yang berkaitan dengan upaya peningkatan pemecahan masalah Fisika pada siswa SMP. Setelah data dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisa dan disimpulkan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualittaif dengan mengutip pendapat yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa model pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah fisika pada siswa SMP yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL), direct instruction, Jigsaw, PKPM (Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah), Inkuiri Terbimbing, dan Cooperative problem solving. Kemudian penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah fisika adalah siswa kurang mampu dalam menganalisa rumus-rumus fisika sehingga sulit dalam menjawab soal.

Abstract

In realizing its vision, SMP Putri Ar-Risalah needs to improve the competence/ability of its teachers. One thing that teachers need to master is the ability to write scientific papers. The ability to write scientific papers needs to be possessed by all teachers. In addition to making it easier for teachers to publish scientific papers, teachers can also motivate students to write diligently. The Adzia University PkM team provided training in writing scientific papers to Ar Risalah Junior High School teachers in the form of material presentations. The purpose of this scientific paper writing training is to improve the teacher's ability to write scientific papers. The result of the evaluation of scientific writing is that the teacher is satisfied with the training provided. According to the teacher, the material presented is up-to-date, effective, useful, and interesting. Teachers are also committed to applying the knowledge and experience gained through this training in carrying out their daily tasks.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari jarangnya guru menggunakan media dalam bentuk permainan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran, apalagi media berbentuk permainan ular tangga pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan dalam rangka pengembangan media pembelajaran tematik terpadu menggunakan media ular  tangga untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development ( R D) menggunakan teori Sugiyono (20013). Satu tahap terakhir yang tidak penulis lakukan yaitu tahap penyebaran (dessemination) dikarenakan pandemi COVID-19 yang masih mewabah ketika penelitian dilakukan. Berdasarkan validasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media ular tangga sudah valid dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Aktivitas bermain ular tangga dapat membantu anak dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara karena dilaksanakan dalam bentuk bermain

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems, namely the low critical thinking of class XI students of SMAN 14 Padang, teachers have not used varied learning models that can improve students' critical thinking skills. Based on these problems, one of the models that can improve students' critical thinking skills in the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium is the Inquiry Training model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Inquiry Training learning model on students' critical thinking skills on the rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium material for class XI SMAN 14 Padang. The method used in this research is experimental and the research design used is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental), the research design used is posttest only control design. From the data obtained from the analysis of the Mann Whitney Test, the value of 0.00 < 0.05 was obtained. So it can be concluded that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted which reads "There is a significant effect using the Inquiry Training learning model on students' critical thinking skills on the rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium material for class XI SMAN 14 Padang".

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan pemaparan terkait urgensi pendidikan karakter dan bagaimana implementasi dan integrasi pendidikan karakter ke dalam pembelajaran yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah para guru, khususnya di SDIT Mutiara Padang memahami seberapa pentingnya pendidikan karakter diberikan kepada anak sejak usia dini. Oleh sebab itu guru perlu mendidik anak-anak didiknya dengan implementasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan di kelas. Hal lain yang harus dilakukan guru adalah dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalam perangkat pembelajaran masing-masing.

Abstract

The issues arising in the learning process are as follows: 1) Lack of habituation to critical thinking in the teaching-learning process, 2) Students are given limited opportunities to actively participate in learning activities, 3) Insufficient supportive environment as the school does not provide enough space for students to explore and innovate, 4) Lack of support and recognition when they think critically. This results in a lack of confidence and hinders the development of their abilities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile with the Critical Thinking Dimension using animated video media in Grade IV of SDN 22 Kuranji, Padang City. In the data collection process, animated video media was used. The subjects of this research are the students of Grade IV at SDN 22 Kuranji, Padang City, in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. To analyze the students' needs, interviews and observations were conducted. The results of the study showed that the average critical thinking dimension score of students using animated videos was 2.62, categorized as adequate. Several efforts made by the teachers include: (1) Creating lesson plans that incorporate activities to develop students' critical thinking skills, (2) varying the use of learning media through animated videos, (3) implementing reflective-based learning tailored to the students' learning needs..
