Abstract

The objective of this research was to understand the effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX and job satisfaction on productivity. It was a quantitative research was conducted in sixteen schools located in Jakarta Centre . The research uses a survey method with path analysis was applied in testing hypothesis. It was conducted to 153 Teachers at Private Catholic Elementary Schools as the respondents which were selected in a simple random way. The result of this study are: (1). There is a positive direct effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on productivity. (2). There is a positive direct effect of job satisfaction on productivity, and (3). There is a positive direct effect of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Dampak negatif globalisasi yang terjadi saat ini membawa masyarakat Indonesia melupakan pendidikan karakter bangsa. Karena itu menyambut hari Pendidikan Nasional tahun 2010 pemerintah, dalam hal ini Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional meluncurkan program pendidikan karakter, oleh presiden di Istana Negara. Mengapa ini terjadi? Jawabannya; Pemerintah menilai bahwa pendidikan karakter merupakan kunci kemajuan bangsa. Karena itu, pembangunan karakter dalam pendidikan itu penting dilaksanakan. Jika pendidikan karakter terlaksana maka akan menghasilkan bangsa yang beradab, dan dalam bangsa yang beradab pembangunan untuk kemajuan bangsa dapat terwujud. Penulis berpendapat bahwa saat ini karakter bangsa yang beradab masih berada pada tataran ideal saja. Pendapat ini berdasarkan realita bahwa pendidikan karakter belum sepenuhnya mendapat tempat yang layak karena banyak orang di negeri ini, baik anak-anak maupun orang dewasa masih belum menghidupkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kesehariannya. Banyak pelanggaran etika, moral, dan religiositas agama-agama yang dianut, marak terjadi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia Indonesia dapat membenarkan pendapat ini. Tulisan ini mengangkat peran katekis dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter di tengah masyarakat zaman ini terkhusus bagi masyarakat di Flores Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the teacher's role in voluntarily doing new evangelization as a mediating variable between the teacher's professional competence and On the Care for Our Common Home ecotheological commitment. This study used a quantitative approach. The study population was all elementary-level Catholic religious education teachers in East Flores District. The sample was 110 Inpres Elementary School teachers, 128 Catholic Elementary School teachers and 44 Public Elementary Schools for a total of 282 teachers. Data collection used a questionnaire by utilizing google form. The data analysis technique used in this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the statistical software AMOS version 22. The study findings revealed that Catholic religious education teachers' professional competence and eco-theological commitment could be a driving force in carrying out the most recent contextual new evangelization. It is beneficial for the new generation not to continue actions that cause environmental crises caused by adults. As a result, the earth can provide itself with a common home, a healthy, decent, and comfortable to live in for one big family consisting of all generations of living beings.

Abstract

Quality education is an indicator of the success of educational institutions in implementing the role of education management appropriately. This article intends to describe and examine the application of the role of direction and control in educational management at the Panggudi Luhur Domenico Savio Junior High School Semarang. Data obtained through in-depth interviews with informants and documentation. Data analysis uses the method discovered by Miles and Huberman. The research concludes that Panggudi Luhur Junior High School Domenico Savio Semarang applies the function of directing and controlling function in education management well. The directing function is carried out by the principal by guiding, suggesting, giving encouragement, directions and instructions so that teachers and employees personally and communally can work hard, work fast, work productively as well as cooperate and work together well, correctly, according to their duties and functions. Internal and external control is carried out by conducting academic supervision to determine the quality and quantity of teacher work in carrying out its role in planning, implementing and evaluating learning based on quality standards set in the framework of achieving the school's vision, mission and goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulties and the good steps that have been taken, reflect on their experiences, and plan follow-up difficulties. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research was carried out July-August 2021. Data collection techniques were interviews (4 supervisors, 2 supervisor teachers, and 5th semester students), documentation, and observation. Data analysis with data reduction techniques, data display, and verification and confirmation of conclusions. The research indicators are concrete experience, reflection and observation, abstract conceptual, and active experimentation.The results showed: 1) difficult experiences: internet facilities and networks, low student activity online, lack of confidence in students and also practitioners during the teaching and learning process, difficulty adjusting learning media according to class level, lack of content knowledge, difficulty linking material and examples in everyday life, as well as the selection of learning models. The good things that have been done are being able in terms of: communication, self-motivation, patience, and the courage to propose ideas to supervisors; 2) results of reflection: it is necessary to design learning tools, master the material, be creative and innovative, solve problems, and think positively about online learning; 3) Things that will be improved: being able to study independently (reading a lot of literature), designing creative media and applying methods that are problem solving in nature, and preparing teaching materials independently.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan fokus pada pengembangan pemahaman dan pelaksanaan perayaan Ekaristi dan ibadah tanpa Imam, memiliki tujuan sentral yaitu meningkatkan pemahaman umat terhadap liturgi dan simbolisme Ekaristi dan Sabda. Pendekatan ini diwujudkan melalui metode pelatihan interaktif, diskusi kelompok yang mendorong pertukaran ide, serta melibatkan permainan peran untuk memberikan pengalaman langsung. Refleksi terstruktur mendukung pemahaman mendalam, menghasilkan hasil berupa pemahaman yang lebih kaya tentang makna simbolis dan tata perayaan, serta mendorong partisipasi umat dalam ibadah dengan penuh semangat. Dengan demikian, program ini berhasil memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam terkait perayaan Ekaristi dan Ibadah Sabda Tanpa Imam, mengokohkan ikatan spiritual umat dengan ritus liturgis, dan memberikan sumbangan berarti bagi pertumbuhan iman dan partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan gerejawi.

Abstract

Guru produktif menjadikan produktivitas sebagai filosofi hidupnya. Bagi guru produktif, pekerjaan merupakan hal sentral yang harus dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien untuk menjangkau prestasi yang tinggi. Guru produktif akan menggunakan segala kemampuannya untuk mengelola pekerjaan demi mencapai produktivitas kerja yang tinggi yakni lulusan berkualitas tinggi. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas guru rendah karena OCB guru masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap pengaruh OCB terhadap peningkatan produktivitas guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru SMAN di Kabupaten Flores Timur berjumlah 223 orang, dengan teknik sampling acak sederhana terpilih 143 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknis analisis data menggunakan uji pengaruh dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan produktivitas guru SMAN dipengaruhi oleh OCB guru.Direkomendasikan, guru sebagai aktor utama pendidikan perlu memiliki OCB yakni perilaku ekstra peran; dengan hati ikhlas mau melakukan pekerjaan melebihi tugas formal yang ada dalam deskripsi tugas pokok dan fungsi.

Abstract

Building educational character is one of the efforts to realize the goals of national education, namely that students develop into human beings who believe and are devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens. Instilling noble moral values (character) in students, starting from the family, continues at school and in society. The family must be a place where children humanize themselves. Schools must be a place where children become aware that they are civilized, love truth, honesty and authenticity. The key to successful character education in schools can be achieved by: preparing moral and religious education; prepare a clear, rational and consistent set of values, rules; input character education in intra, extra and co-curricular activities; teachers, seniors and the academic community are role models for appreciating the value of character education; socialize appropriately, create a conducive learning environment, supported by adequate learning facilities and resources. The community can also be a good role model in instilling character in the younger generation. Synergy between families, schools and communities needs to be built. Building educational character can influence students' thought patterns, actions and actions. Students not only develop intellectually, but can also become human beings with noble character as stated in the national education goals that we must realize

Abstract

This research specifically investigates how the implementation of the teacher’s code of ethics shapes student’s character and influences the academic achievements of students at Hinga Catholic Elementary School. The benefits of this research are that it can serve as a reference for future research and provide information regarding the implementation of the teacher’s code of ethics in shaping students’ character and its impact on academic achievements. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. This study was conducted at Hinga Catholic Elementary School involving four key informants who were directly involved in the learning process. The research was conducted for 3 months, from February to April 2024. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted systematically using a qualitative data analysis model. The research results indicate a positive correlation between the application of the teacher’s code of ethics is crucial in efforts to develop students with noble character and high achievements. The results of this study are expected to the development of educational science, especially in the field of character education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the leadership competence of Catholic Religious Education teachers in shaping the personality of students at Inpres Pamakayo Elementary School. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Pamakayo, involving 10 research subjects consisting of PAK teachers, principals, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the formation of students' personality at Inpres Pamakayo Elementary School has so far been carried out well through various religious activities and other school activities that can develop students' characters through morning prayer activities, joint worship, reading of the Bible, liturgical celebrations and integration of faith values in learning to develop students' personalities. However, there are still attitudes of students who violate school rules, bullying behavior, disrespect for teachers and friends, lack of social care, and lack of spiritual awareness in carrying out faith values in daily life. This study concludes that although Catholic Religious Education teachers have tried to guide students with good leadership competencies, there are still students who show negative attitudes.
