Abstract

The development of waqf practices implemented so far has become very diverse. However, many people still think that the practice of waqf is limited to the management of 3M (tombs, mosques, and madrasas). Mekarjaya Village has great waqf potential, but its utilization has not been optimally realized because of the limited knowledge of its community. The Kampung Wakaf educational program was organized with the participation of 60 participants, who were the guardians of students from Madrasah At-Tarbiyah, one of the village's waqf assets, aimed at broadening the community's understanding and awareness of the concept and innovative utilization of waqf. The educational activity was conducted in one day, consisting of a material presentation session by the speakers and a discussion and Q&A session before the event was concluded. The result obtained was an increase in the community's knowledge regarding the basic concepts of waqf and its utilization, which was assessed through pre-tests and post-tests conducted at the beginning and end of the activity. Education is expected to support the development of village waqf utilization in a more comprehensive and innovative manner.

Abstract

Unpowered Automatic Fertigator (FONi) is an automatic irrigation technology without the use of electrical power that has been proven to be able to provide water as well as dissolved nutrients directly to the root area according to plant needs (evapotranspiration). In this activity, FONi was introduced to the Saung Kiray Farmer Group (Mitra) of Tasikmalaya City for the cultivation of organic fruit and leaf vegetables in a neglected yard. The problem faced by Partners is the difficulty in watering plants which has been done manually and limited access to appropriate technology. This service aims to turn the abandoned yard into a productive one. By applying FONi, the yard can now produce various types of organic fruit and leaf vegetables that are beneficial for health and become a pilot and learning location, especially for the surrounding community. The students involved now have skills and experience in designing and making FONi and together with Partners have mastered its installation and use. Also produced, means of disseminating information on this service activity in the form of posters, videos and news and articles that can be a reference for the wider community. To ensure its sustainability, it is necessary to synergise with the Ministry of Agriculture's Sustainable Food Yard (P2L) programme and the local Agriculture Office, especially to support the National Free Nutritious Meal.

Abstract

Cajuput (Melaleuca cajuputi) oil is one of the products developed under Perum Perhutani’s Multipurpose Forestry Business. Developing the cajuput oil business remains a challenge; efforts must continue to build both competitive and comparative advantages and to increase revenue. The aim of this research is to analyze the competitiveness of Perum Perhutani's cajuput oil business which can be managed in accordance with the concept of sustainable development goals in the Forestry Sector. In doing this, we use Resources Based Value (RBV) and Value, Rarity, Imitability, and Organization (VRIO) analysis to evaluate the competitive resouces of cajuput oil bussines. SmartPLS was used to test the influence on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results show Perum Perhutani has sustainable competitive advantages, namely the quality of its cajuput oil plant seeds, the ability to achieve supply chain certification, and the ability to produce good quality products sustainably. In running the cajuput oil business, Perum Perhutaniexperiences a significant impact from applying SDG values, which manifest as both economic and ecological benefits.. Perhutani’s cajuput oil products are more competitive than those of other domestic producers, but less competitive when compared to imported eucalyptus oil products in the global market.
