Abstract

Ban Village is a village located in Kubu District, Karangasem Regency. Most of the people's livelihoods are farmers, breeders and coffee processors. Despite its shortcomings in terms of land conditions, Ban Village has a variety of natural potential that needs to be developed in the agricultural, livestock, fishery and crop processing sectors. The potential for re-development of rosella flowers which were cultivated before the Covid-19 pandemic by the community. Cow dung and litter can be used as quality organic fertilizer. The aim of the activity is: increasing the knowledge and skills of partners in cultivating roselle plants and processing cow dung and litter as organic fertilizer and touching on technology for cultivating roselle flowers and processing cow dung and litter.

Abstract

Community partnership empowerment was carried out at P4S Sedana Sari with the title "PKM Utilization of Pig Manure Waste at P4S Sedana Sari Selat Village, Abiansemal Badung.  The application of organic fertilizer technology in the agricultural sector is one of the efforts in sustainable agriculture.  Organic fertilizer technology in this case is manure produced from pig manure. There is quite a lot of manure waste which, if not processed, can cause environmental pollution such as air and water, so further handling of the livestock manure is necessary.  Making organic fertilizer is an alternative to using pig manure which can be processed as fertilizer for plants.  The method is technology transfer and introducing science and technology, namely outreach, training, mentoring activities, both partners are actively and creatively invited to work together. The resulting product is organic fertilizer with analysis and can be applied to plants.

Abstract

The problems faced are that chili cultivation techniques are not yet understood, chili processing has not been carried out, equipment and materials for cultivation and chili processing are not yet complete, and the importance of strengthening organizational management. The solution is that the partner group needs to be facilitated from the technological aspects of chili cultivation, chili processing, post-harvest and processing processes, and business management of the partner group. The aim of the activity is: to increase the knowledge and skills of partners in an effort to increase food security by cultivating in the yard and utilizing chili products to be processed into processed products with high economic value which can increase people's income.

Abstract

The solutions offered to overcome the problems faced by the partners are carried out through a community partnership program through farmer assistance, counseling, training, technology transfer, techniques for making biological fertilizer from citrus fruit waste, as well as strengthening group institutions. This Community Service Program is implemented in this farmer group. The method used to achieve this goal is through counseling, training and application of technology with direct practice in the field. The implementation of Community Service has gone well according to plan and the participation and response of all members have been very enthusiastic in its implementation. The output targets are a technology package for managing orange plantation waste into good quality biofertilizer, and strengthening the institutions of integrated agrotourism groups in Senganan village and publishing them in scientific journals.

Abstract

Bedugul tourist attractions with the lake and the attractive Beratan Temple, the "Eka Karya" Botanical Gardens, a place to enjoy impressive nature in Candikuning Village, are favorite tourist destinations for domestic tourists and foreign tourists visiting BaliMost of the people of Candikuning work in the agricultural sector as their livelihood and source of livelihood, requiring fertilizer to increase soil and plant fertility. Currently, most of the organic fertilizer used is chicken manure, which is purchased from outside the village, while the potential for developing rabbits in Candikuning Village as a potential source of fertilizer is still underutilized. The objectives of this activity for partners are: increasing partners' knowledge and skills in rabbit cultivation, using solid and liquid manure as organic fertilizer to substitute for the use of inorganic fertilizer, meeting increasing market demand by adding production facilities to support product quality, increasing quantity and continuous production.
