Abstract

Ada permasalahan prioritas yang disepakati oleh Tim pengabdian Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember dan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember yang akan diselesaikan. Permasalahan prioritas yang akan diselesaikan ini yakni aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember belum memiliki keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pengolahan sampah organik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember memiliki keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi Takakura  untuk mengolah sampah organik menjadi pupuk organik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 5 (lima) tahapan pengabdian. Kelima tahapan pengabdian itu diantaranya pertama sosialisasi penerapan teknologi Takakura. Kedua, pelatihan teknologi Takakura. Ketiga, penerapan teknologi Takakura. Keempat, pendampingan dan evaluasi penerapan teknologi Takakura. Kelima Keberlanjutan Program terdiri dari pembentukan Tim khusus pemanfaatan teknologi Takakura. Kegiatan ini telah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember. Pada saat sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan, Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember memiliki kemampuan menerapkan teknologi Takakura ini sebesar 26,875. Kemampuan awal dari Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember ini termasuk dalam kategori kurang. Setelah diberikan pendampingan, penyuluhan serta simulasi kepada Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember, kemampuan Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember meningkat sebesar 36,875. Sebelum diadakan kegiatan, kemampuan Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember berada dalam kategori kurang. Setelah diadakan kegiatan program pengabdian kepada Aktivis Bidang Lingkungan Pimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Kabupaten Jember ini meningkat pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Secara spesifik, dapat dijelaskan bahwa Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah 16 Jember memiliki permasalahan belum mengenal teknologi biopori yang mampu menambah dan menstabilkan cadangan air. Oleh karena itu diperlukan prioritas penyelesaian masalah untuk kedua hal tersebut yakni memberikan pelatihan pembuatan  Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB) kepada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah 16 Jember. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah 16 Jember mampu memanfaatkan teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 5 (lima) tahapan pengabdian. Kelima tahapan pengabdian itu diantaranya pertama, sosialisasi Teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Kedua, pelatihan Teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Ketiga, penerapan Teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Keempat, pendampingan dan evaluasi penerapan Teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Kelima Keberlanjutan Program terdiri dari pembentukan Tim khusus Teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Kegiatan ini telah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah 16 Jember. Pada saat sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan, Siswa memiliki kemampuan menerapkan dan memanfaatkan teknologi biopor dengan nilai sebesar 43. Kemampuan awal Siswa ini termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan, penyuluhan dan simulasi, kemampuan Siswa dalam menerapkan teknologi biopora adalah sebesar 83. Setelah diberikan pendampingan, penyuluhan serta simulasi kepada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah 16 Jember, kemampuan Siswa meningkat sebesar 40.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development, physically,psychologically, and intellectually. Teenagers still have limited knowledge abouthealthy living behaviors and the risks of negative behaviors. Improvement ofAdolescent Health Knowledge and Character Through the SMART YouthProgram, students will receive training on mental health, stress management,responsible decision-making, and strengthening adolescent character. The aimof this community service is to enhance teenagers' knowledge and awarenessabout the importance of healthy living behaviors and stress management andinstill SMART character values (healthy, independent, active, religious, andresponsible) in teenagers' daily lives. The activity methods were carried outthrough the delivery of materials, educational films, training, integrationpractices, and question-and-answer sessions. Topics include reproductivehealth, stress management, life skills, physical and social activity, ethics andreligious values in adolescent life, discipline, and integrity in daily life. Thisactivity was conducted on Wednesday, February 28, 2025, with 30 participants.The success of the activity was measured using a questionnaire. The resultsshow an increase in knowledge from the category of sufficient knowledge togood, with teenagers increasingly understanding the importance of maintainingphysical and mental health, being able to act independently, being active inpositive activities, upholding religious values, and being responsible in everyaction. Conclusion: expanding students' knowledge and skills in facingadolescent challenges, as well as supporting the formation of a healthy, happy,and responsible adolescent character. Suggestion: It is expected to continueand integrate SMART values into learning activities and counseling guidancesustainably as part of student character development.

Abstract

Hizbul Wathan in Jember Regency was reactivated along with the activation of this Scouting Movement at the national level. There are several problems in Jember Regency that GKHW can basically be a pioneer and play an important role in overcoming. These problems include the problem of drought and flooding which from year to year increases massively. The objectives of this activity are (1) GKHW members of Jember Regency are able to understand how Biopore Infiltration Holes work, (2) GKHW members of Jember Regency are skilled in making Biopore Infiltration Holes in accordance with proven standards. The steps taken in the implementation of the service program in the Muhammadiyah Association environment are strengthening the ideology of the Hizbul Wathan scouting movement, guidance and counseling on biopori technology, simulation of the application of biopori technology, making video activities and evaluating the success of the program. The implementation of this service in the Muhammadiyah Association has succeeded in improving the ability of the Scouting Movement of the Hizbul Wathan Regional Kwartir of Jember Regency from the category of less to very good. Therefore, it is expected that participants can become instructors at lower levels, namely Branch and Branch Scouts.

Abstract

In 2023, 103 families in Bintoro Village experienced the most severe water crisis. Meanwhile, hundreds of other families experienced moderate drought impacts. The rest of the population in Bintoro Village, Patrang Subdistrict, experienced moderate drought. The aim of this activity is that the community of Bintoro Village, Patrang Subdistrict, Jember Regency has the expertise or skills to apply wet retention pond technology to overcome drought. The activities of this Community Service program began with observation and coordination, then socialization of retention wetland technology and simulation of the application of retention wetland technology. To measure the ability of participants, an evaluation of the success of the program is carried out. After all the activities are running, a re-assessment is carried out. The average score obtained was 82.5. This value also shows that the error rate is below 20 percent. Therefore, it can be concluded that after being given training, the participants have succeeded or have been able to work on the six indicators of making retention wet ponds. The results of the assessment of the participants can be concluded that the participants have succeeded or are able to work on the six indicators of making wet retention ponds with an error rate below 20 percent.
