Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the ability to manage waqf land assets so that the community has additional income from biofloc-based catfish farming. The method of implementing this service used training and mentoring. The target partner for this service was Brongkol Hamlet, Argodadi Village, Bantul Regency, DIY. The instrument for evaluating community service activities used a questionnaire and was analyzed descriptively. The service results showed that training in the development of waqf land assets through biofloc-based catfish cultivation proved to increase the ability of the community to obtain additional income. This community service activity concludes that waqf land assets can be managed productively, one of which is through catfish farming.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the role of BWI and Nazhir representatives in efforts to make waqf land assets productive by building a digital-based waqf land asset information service system for BWI representatives in Bantul Regency. The method of implementing this service uses training and counseling with a participatory approach which includes needs analysis and Focus Group Discussion, development, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up based on predetermined success indicators. The result of this community service activity is the formation of a website-based Nazhir service information system for BWI and Nazhir representatives in Bantul Regency, which can help and provide convenience to BWI and Nazhir representatives in monitoring the development and process of mapping waqf land assets and provide convenience for prospective waqf partners to establish cooperation to produce waqf land assets.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to encourage and increase community empowerment in managing waste, increase community income, and open up employment opportunities in the Griya Cendekia YBW UII Fostered Village, Bantul, DIY. In this community service activity, a circular economy approach is applied by empowering the community. This program involves 25 participants through maggot cultivation training and organic waste management to produce eco-enzyme products. The methods used include stages of socialization, training, and technical assistance. The results of the community service show that this activity improves the community's ability to manage organic waste productively, producing products such as laundry soap, facial soap, and hand sanitizer. This activity concludes that organic waste management through maggot cultivation and eco-enzyme production not only supports environmental sustainability but also creates new economic opportunities for the community.
