Using a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method, this study involved 100 respondents consisting of students and teachers. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed to identify the relationship between technology use and Arabic language skills. The results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between the two variables. Every additional hour of technology use per week increased Arabic language skill scores by 3.679 points. The linear regression analysis showed an R Square value of 0.988, indicating that 98.8% of the variation in Arabic language skills can be explained by technology use. The validity and reliability tests of the research instrument also showed good results, with a Cronbach's Alpha value of more than 0.7. This study recommends that STAI Kuningan strengthen the use of technology in Arabic language learning to improve students' skills more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Early detection of developmental anomalies in children is crucial for timely intervention, which can significantly enhance long-term developmental outcomes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based detection tool and parental involvement in identifying and managing developmental disorders in children aged 2 to 6 years. A longitudinal research design was employed, involving 300 children exhibiting early signs of developmental disorders and 150 children in a control group. Data were collected through behavioral observation, AI-based analysis of video and audio interactions, and interviews with parents and educators. The findings revealed that the AI tool demonstrated high sensitivity in detecting motor, language, and autism-related disorders. Children who received early interventions showed significant improvements, particularly in motor skills, language development, and social interaction. Parental involvement in the intervention process further accelerated these improvements. This study highlights the potential of AI to enhance early detection and intervention, especially in resource-limited areas, and underscores the importance of engaging parents in the developmental process of their children. These findings contribute to the understanding of how AI can be integrated into early childhood care programs to improve outcomes for children with developmental challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate students' perceptions of the use of Arabic language learning applications, Al-Kunuz and Rosetta Stone, in the context of online learning in Islamic universities, especially at STAI Kuningan. The method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design, involving 100 students as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring students' perceptions of the ease of use and effectiveness of the applications in improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The results showed that the Al-Kunuz app received positive ratings for improving speaking and listening skills, with average scores of 4.2 and 4.3, respectively, while the Rosetta Stone app was more effective in improving reading and writing skills, with average scores of 4.2 and 4.1. Linear regression analysis revealed a significant relationship between the use of the two apps and the improvement of students' Arabic language skills, with an R-squared value of 0.76. This indicates that 76% of the variation in Arabic language skills improvement can be explained by the use of the apps. However, several obstacles—such as unstable internet connections and the need for training in application use—hinder optimizing the use of this technology. These findings provide important insights for the development of technology-based Arabic language learning in Islamic universities, with particular attention to improving infrastructure and training for both teachers and students.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the importance of understanding the role of religion in modern society, particularly through the thoughts of two major figures in the sociology of religion, Max Weber and Émile Durkheim. Although both agree that religion influences social structures, their views on its role differ significantly. The purpose of this study is to compare the thoughts of Max Weber and Émile Durkheim regarding the role of religion in modern society. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with literature analysis, in which data are collected through the examination of works related to the theories of Weber and Durkheim, as well as relevant previous studies. The results show that Weber emphasized the role of religion in the formation of capitalism, while Durkheim focused on its role in creating social solidarity. Although they approach the issue in different ways, both agree that religion has a significant influence on the formation and organization of society. This research contributes to enriching the study of the sociology of religion by offering a new perspective for understanding the dynamics of religion in an increasingly complex and pluralistic modern society

Abstract

Abstract

Bank Wakaf Mikro (BWM), established by OJK and the government, is a strategic step in empowering the economy of communities around Islamic boarding schools. With a group model, simple procedures, and ongoing assistance, BWM plays a role in reducing poverty, providing access to capital without collateral, and countering loan sharking practices. This research, which uses an exploratory qualitative approach, examines community economic empowerment through the implementation of BWM KHAS Kempek. The results show that the BWM CSR grant management mechanism involves: (a) sources of funds from individual and corporate donors, (b) a loan distribution system with intensive mentoring, and (c) locking some of the grant funds in the form of deposits for sustainability. The Akad used includes a grant contract, al-qardh contract, and ju'âlah contract. Pesantren-based micro business empowerment is realized through increasing the number of customers, optimizing business potential, and financial and spiritual assistance through the Weekly Halaqoh (HALMI). This finding confirms the role of pesantren as economic and social drivers of the community. Practically, this research provides insights for policy makers, Islamic financial institutions, and pesantren managers in developing a sustainable and community-based microfinance model. With this approach, it is expected that BWM can further improve the welfare of the community around the pesantren and become an effective model of financial inclusion.

Abstract

This study is intended to assess the preparedness of PIAUD teachers in Semarang to implement the Merdeka Curriculum and embrace project-based learning (PBL) in early childhood education. The primary objective is to evaluate teachers' readiness to adopt the new curriculum, identify existing challenges, and examine the influence of PBL on student engagement and critical thinking. The research follows a qualitative descriptive approach, gathering data through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving 15 PIAUD teachers across five schools. Findings indicate that most teachers are moderately prepared to embrace the new curriculum, hampered by obstacles such as inadequate training, resource shortages, and resistance hindering effective PBL implementation. Despite these obstacles, teachers who effectively implemented PBL demonstrated increased student engagement and motivation. The study suggests targeted professional development and improved resource allocation are essential for the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and PBL. The study offers valuable insights for policymakers and educational administrators to support teachers in integrating innovative student-centered teaching practices into their instruction.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of songs and storytelling as instructional strategies for Arabic language teaching in early childhood education at RA Raudhatul Hidayah, Cirebon, aiming to examine how these multimodal approaches contribute to children’s linguistic competence, engagement, and socio-emotional development. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, data were gathered through classroom observations over four weeks, semi-structured teacher interviews, and documentation analysis. Participants included twenty children aged 4–6 years and two teachers. Thematic analysis was applied to identify patterns related to language acquisition, engagement, and socio-emotional development. Findings indicate that songs enhance vocabulary retention, pronunciation, and oral expression, while storytelling contextualizes language, supporting comprehension and narrative skills. Children demonstrated increased engagement, motivation, and confidence during learning activities. Teachers affirmed the effectiveness of these methods but reported challenges including limited resources and variability in student participation. The study underscores the importance of multimodal, interactive teaching approaches integrating songs and stories to promote both linguistic and socio-emotional development in early learners. The study concludes that combining songs and storytelling constitutes an effective pedagogical approach for Arabic language learning in early childhood. Recommendations encompass systematic integration into daily curricula, adaptation of materials to developmental stages, and provision of teacher training to enhance instructional effectiveness. These findings contribute to the literature on early childhood Arabic education and offer practical guidance for educators in similar settings.
