Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa aktif Antibakteri dari kulit daun Aloe vera. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengekstrak 200g sampel kering kulit daun lidah buaya dengan cara maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol selama 24 jam, kemudian pelarutnya diuapkan dengan rotary vacuum evaporator. Ekstrak kental yang diperoleh selanjutnya dipisahkan menggunakan kromatografi kolom dengan fasa diam silika gel dan fasa gerak n-heksana, etil asetat, dan etanol. Fraksi yang diperoleh kemudian diuji aktivitas antibakteri nya terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli dan staphylococcus aureus. Fraksi yang paling aktif kemudian dimurnikan dengan kromatografi kolom dan dilakukan identifikasi senyawa aktifnya dengan GC-MS. Hasil uji diperoleh bahwa fraksi n-heksan memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terbaik yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai zona hambat sebesar 12 mm terhadap E.coli dan 5 mm terhadap S. aureus. Hasil analisis senyawa dengan menggunakan GC MS diperoleh senyawa seperti: 1-metildodesilamin; 4-[2-(fenilsulfanil)etil] piridin; pentanal ; difenilefrin ; p-hidroksinorefedrin dan 5-(2-aminopropil)-2-metilfenol Kata kunci: Aktivitas antibakteri, Escherichia coli, lidah buaya, maserasi, Staphylococcus aureus. ABSTRACT This research was carried out to identify the active anti-bacterial compounds from aloe vera leaf skin. The study was conducted by extracting 200 grams of dried Aloe vera leaves skin using the maceration method with ethanol for 24 hours, then the solvent was evaporated using the rotary vacuum evaporator. The viscous extract obtained was then separated by column chromatography with a stationary phase of silica gel and a mobile phase of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and ethanol. The obtained fractions were tested for their anti-bacterial activities against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The most active fraction was purified by column chromatography, and then the active compound was identified by GC-MS. The results showed that the n-hexane fraction had the best anti-bacterial activity, with an inhibition zone of 12 mm against E.coli and 5 mm against S. aureus. The results of compound analysis using GC-MS obtained compounds are 1-methyl dodecyl amine, 4-[2-(phenyl sulfonyl)ethyl] pyridine, pentanal, p-hydroxynorephedrine, 5-(2-aminopropyl)-2-methylphenol, di-phenylephrine. Abstract

Background: Nows a days has developed many kind of dentures to improve the functionality, comfort aesthetics. Stability, retention and its aesthetic can be improved by attachments. With many kind design assortment of dentures so need a different technique with the existing design. Purpose: The aim of this study is to know the danture manufacturing process in combination with Castable protesa Extracoronal Attachments labolatory procedure. Review: Fixed dentures are each bonded teeth protesa, inserted mechanically and support by teeth or dental implant abutment or that provide the main support for the dental protesa. A partial denture is a spin-off protesa that replaces one or more missing teeth, on the maxillary or mandibullary and can be opened by patients without the supervision of a dentist. Extracoronal attachment is an attachment that is part of the male and female part are almost entirely outside the contours of the Crown of the tooth. Conclusion: the initial stages are making of coping use wax pattern and inserted the female, the casting of metal, porcelain applications, making the wax pattern of the metal frame work, the casting of metal, inserted male, making a removable dentures.

Abstract

Background: Dental laboratory in Surabaya frequently make various kinds of the denture. But surely there is a case that was the most commonly accepted, to adjust to the needs of dental laboratories on the priorities of the work was done, it was necessary to give attention to the case that many common and must be taught to students Dental Technology. Purpose: To find an overview of the number the dentures received by the dental laboratory in Surabaya from 2013 until 2017. Method: The data used is secondary data from a dental laboratory in Surabaya from 2013 to 2017. Result: A request for flexible and RPDs porcelain, acrylic resin and metal in 5 years obtained tend to be stable in high demand, even ina given year a sharp increase in RPDs flexible and drastic decline on fixed porcelain denture. Instead of facing acrylics, fixed denture tends to stabilize at its lowest during the period. While the acrylic RPDs has increased significantly in the last two years, in contrast to metal frame dentures, which decreased at two years latest. Conclusion: Flexible denture significantly better than with acrylic resin conventional denture on parameters taken in this research. Fixed porcelain denture are mostly made by a dental laboratory when compared with a removable partial denture acrylic resin.

Abstract

Background: Currently, there is a lot of design attachment, and every design has a different laboratory procedure. One of them is retention combination horizontal and vertical synchronization. Purpose: to know the process of making a unilateral overdenture with combination horizontal and vertical attachment (laboratory procedure). Review: Overdenture is artificial tooth receives support and the retention of one or more teeth an abutment or receives the support of an implant. Attachment is a connector owned two or more parts. One part connected with a root, teeth, or implant while the other part connected to protesa. Unilateral over denture is artificial tooth some off who just made was on the side of the jaw just. Conclusion: The manufacture of unilateral overdenture retention combination with horizontal and vertical synchronization attachment in the laboratory has many steps.

Abstract

Background: Tooth loss can affect various factors in oral health. Some of these factors are functional, harmonization and aesthetics of oral health. Over time, the aesthetic factor has become an important concern in the manufacture of dentures. Apart from rehabilitating the function and harmonization of oral health, the field of dentistry must also pay attention to the aesthetics of dentures. Purpose: This article aims to discuss the use of acetyl thermoplastic ingredients in making Snap-On Smile. Review: Smile design evaluation of certain elements, namely facial analysis, analysis of relationship between the jaw and face, relationship between teeth and midline of the face, analysis of relationship between teeth and lips, relationship between teeth and gingiva and analysis of shape and color of teeth. All are related to one another. In an ideal smile, the maxillary teeth will show up in the area between the upper and lower lips. Conclusion: Aesthetic and functional improvement in tooth loss can be performed using the Snap-On Smile. Snap-On Smile is a restoration that can be used for aesthetic rehabilitation without requiring preparation or alteration of the tooth structure and cement attachment in its manufacture. The Snap-On Smile prosthesis is more comfortable and can be removed by the patient.

Abstract

Background: Premature loss for deciduous teeth is defined as the teeth that fall out before approaching the time of eruption of their replacement permanent teeth regardless of the reason for the loss of the teeth. The premature loss of deciduous teeth can cause the teeth next to the edentulous area to shift and lose arch space causing permanent teeth to grow abnormally. Prevention can be done by using Mayne's space maintainer so that the negative impact of premature loss does not occur. Purpose: Report the fabrication of Mayne's space maintainer in premature loss case. Case analysis: The laboratory accepted a working model with a case of premature loss in tooth 74 and was asked to make the Mayne's space maintainer. Result: This appliance consists of a molar band attached to tooth 75 with a 0.9 mm loop that is soldered on the buccal of the molar band. Conclusion: It is concluded that fabrication of Mayne's space maintainer in the case of premature loss of tooth 74 includes the preparation of a working model, adjustment of the molar band on tooth 75, making the loop, followed by soldering the loop to the molar band, finally the finishing and polishing.

Abstract

Background: Anterior crossbite is a case that when upper anterior are positioned palatally than lower anterior teeth in centric occlusion. Orthodontic appliances using expansion screw could be solution for tooth anterior crossbite treatment. Purpose: To figure out the optimal fabrication process of orthodontic appliances in single tooth anterior crossbite case using expansion screw. Case analysis: Dental laboratory provided the maxillary dental appliance with single tooth anterior crossbite on teeth 21. Dental technician also received orthodontic appliance using expansion screw. Result: Orthodontic appliance design was Adams claps on teeth 16, 26, labial bow on teeth 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, 23. Additional posterior bite plane, also expansion screw was located on maxillary left first incisor, palatal section. Conclusion: Design and making orthodontic appliances using expansion screw begins with drawing design, positioning Adams clasps and labial bow sectional screw mini mounting, then acrylic packing. Final step was finishing polishing acrylic plate.

Abstract

Teknologi IoT dapat mempermudah peternak dalam memantau kandang ayam dari jauh. Teknologi LoRa cocok untuk diterapkan untuk implementasi IoT pada lingkungan kandang yang umunya berada jauh dari pemukiman penduduk, karena memiliki jarak jangkauan yang jauh dan hemat dalam penggunaan daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan dan menguji kinerja IoT menggunakan LoRa dengan modul RFM95W pada lingkungan kandang ayam. Kinerja yang diamati berupa jarak, kekuatan sinyal, dan keberhasilan transmisi data. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian fungsional dan pengujian kinerja dengan antena 3 dBi dan 5 dBi pada SF7. Hasil pengujian fungsional berhasil mengirimkan data ke Thingspeak. Hasil pengujian menggunakan antena 5 dBi mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan antena 3 dBi. Untuk skenario tanpa halangan, jarak terjauh adalah 400 m dengan error rate 15% dan untuk skenario dengan halangan jarak terjauh adalah 80 m dengan error rate 5%.

Abstract

Pengembangan aplikasi berbasis blockchain memiliki potensi untuk merevolusi transparansi dan ketertelusuran rantai pasok. Makalah ini menyajikan pengembangan Ricetrack, sebuah aplikasi berbasis blockchain dan QR Code yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan ketertelusuran dalam rantai pasok beras. Ricetrack dikembangkan menggunakan teknologi Hyperledger Sawtooth dengan metodologi Agile Blockchain DApp Engineering. Aplikasi ini diprototipekan dan diuji dalam rantai pasok beras di Menata Citra Selaras, Kabupaten Bekasi, Indonesia. Sebelum Ricetrack, ketertelusuran dan transparansi data sangat minim atau hampir tidak ada, dengan catatan yang dipelihara secara manual menggunakan kertas dan/atau Microsoft Excel. Pengujian prototipe menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam ketertelusuran, transparansi data, dan efisiensi operasional. Temuan utama meliputi peningkatan kemampuan melacak beras dari petani hingga konsumen, peningkatan akses data real-time bagi pemangku kepentingan, dan pengurangan kesalahan serta waktu dalam proses pencatatan data. Studi ini menawarkan wawasan berharga tentang tantangan praktis dan manfaat penerapan teknologi blockchain dalam manajemen rantai pasok serta menyediakan dasar untuk peningkatan lebih lanjut dan implementasi Ricetrack yang lebih luas di masa depan.
