Abstract

The development of information technology provides significant opportunities to improve the quality of learning in schools. One of the uses of this technology is the implementation of web-based learning technology. This community service activity aims to increase the learning interest of junior high school students through the application of web-based learning technology at SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu Tengah. The methods used in this activity include the preparation stage, the implementation of socialization and training, and the evaluation stage. The activity was carried out by providing students with an understanding of the use of web-based learning media and direct practice in using digital learning platforms. The results of the activity indicate that the use of web-based learning technology can increase students' interest and participation in the learning process. In addition, students become more active in accessing learning materials independently. Therefore, the implementation of web-based learning technology can be an effective strategy to improve students' learning interest at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat menuntut peningkatan pada sistem keamanan rumah sebagai upaya menjaga reliabilitas infrastruktur, perlindungan aset, serta pencegahan dan mitigasi risiko kebakaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem deteksi kebakaran berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler ESP32. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor DHT22 untuk memantau suhu dan kelembapan, serta sensor MQ-2 untuk mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG. Data hasil dari pembacaan sensor dikirim secara real-time ke web server berbasis PHP dengan antarmuka menggunakan Tailwind CSS, yang dapat diakses melalui dashboard sensiot.my.id/surproject. Selain itu, sistem dilengkapi fitur notifikasi melalui email apabila nilai suhu atau konsentrasi gas LPG melebihi ambang batas yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, data dapat terkirim dengan delay kurang dari dua detik, menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini responsif dan efektif dalam mendukung deteksi dini terhadap potensi kebakaran. Dengan demikian, sistem ini berpotensi menjadi solusi preventif yang efisien untuk meningkatkan keselamatan lingkungan dan keandalan infrastruktur berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

The low public awareness of waste management and the importance of physical activity remains a problem in urban residential areas. In RT 07 RW 03, Penurunan Village, Bengkulu City, household waste management has not been conducted optimally, and residents' participation in health activities is still limited. This community service activity aims to empower residents through education on waste management as well as organizing group exercise as an effort to increase community awareness of the environment and health. The methods used include initial condition observation, waste management counseling, waste sorting practice, and group exercise activities directly involving residents. The results of the activities show an increase in the community's understanding of household waste management, as well as greater participation in joint activities. In addition, group exercise serves as an effective means to strengthen social relationships and improve Awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Thus, environmental education combined with physical activity has been proven to be able to promote the holistic empowerment of the community.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase physical health awareness and environmental concern for residents of RT 10 RW 04 Penurunan Village, Bengkulu City. The main problem faced is the lack of regular physical activity and the management of household waste that is not optimal. The methods used include direct action through morning exercises together, interactive education about waste sorting, and planting tree seeds as a greening effort. The results of the activity show an increase in citizen participation in fitness activities and a new understanding of the economic value of waste if managed properly. Through planting seeds, it is hoped that a more beautiful and healthy environment will be created in a sustainable way for the local community.

Abstract

Student attendance is one of the important data in academic activities because it can be used to monitor participation, discipline, and lecture activities. However, attendance recording that is still carried out manually has several weaknesses, such as requiring more recording time, being prone to data errors, being difficult to recapitulate, and having the potential for attendance manipulation. This study aims to design and develop a student attendance monitoring information system using RFID technology based on a website integrated with a spreadsheet. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a prototyping approach. The developed system uses the RC522 RFID Reader as the card reader, NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main controller, LCD I2C and buzzer as indicators, Google Apps Script as the data connector, and Google Spreadsheet as the storage and monitoring medium for attendance data. The test results show that the system is able to read RFID cards, display attendance status, distinguish between check-in and check-out status, and send attendance data to Google Spreadsheet in real time. This system can support the attendance process to become faster, more structured, and easier to monitor by lecturers or administrators. Therefore, the developed system can be used as an alternative solution to support the digitalization of student attendance management in higher education.
