Abstract

The precast concrete industry plays a crucial role in supporting infrastructure development, particularly in the provision of structural elements such as piles, which require high quality and reliability. However, the complexity of the pile production process can potentially lead to various product defects that can reduce quality and increase production costs. This study aims to analyze pile product defects at PT XYZ and determine repair priorities using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The data used are primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews with production personnel, as well as product defect data from January to October 2025. The analysis was conducted by identifying the type of defect, assessing the severity, occurrence, and detection levels, and calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN) to determine defects with the highest risk. The results showed that there are three main types of defects: skin adhesion, uneven surfaces, and concrete voids. Based on the RPN calculation, void defects have the highest RPN value of 270, making them a top priority for repair. Root cause analysis using a fishbone diagram showed that void defects are influenced by human, machine, method, material, and environmental factors. Proposed improvement recommendations include increased mold inspection and maintenance, work method controls in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), workforce training, and strengthening the risk-based quality control system. The implementation of the FMEA method is expected to assist the company in reducing product defect rates and sustainably improving the quality of pile production.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of seven Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) constructs (Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value, and Habit) on Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior among users of the Tring! by Pegadaian application for digital gold (e-gold) investment. The study employs a quantitative approach using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) with AMOS 23 to analyze data from 180 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The results reveal that Performance Expectancy (?=0.284, p<0.001), Social Influence (?=0.163, p<0.05), Hedonic Motivation (?=0.202, p<0.05), and Habit (?=0.370, p<0.001) have positive and significant effects on Behavioral Intention, with Habit demonstrating the strongest influence. Conversely, Effort Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, and Price Value do not show significant effects on Behavioral Intention. For Use Behavior, Behavioral Intention (?=0.388, p<0.001) and Facilitating Conditions (?=0.293, p<0.01) have positive and significant effects, while Habit does not have a significant direct effect (?=0.049, p>0.05). Mediation analysis confirms that Habit's influence on Use Behavior operates indirectly through Behavioral Intention. These findings contribute empirical evidence on technology adoption in the emerging digital gold investment sector and provide practical recommendations for improving digital investment services in Indonesia. The study also acknowledges limitations, including the absence of trust and perceived risk constructs, and suggests directions for future research. Abstract

This study aims to examine how the influence of ergonomics, product display, brand image, and product knowledge on purchase intentions and to explain the moderating effect of price discounts on ergonomic influences, product appearance, brand image, and product knowledge on purchase intentions of Aerostreet shoes. The sample used is 100 respondents with a purposive sampling method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires via google forms using a Likert scale to measure 20 indicators. The research was conducted using the SEM method. The results of the study show that ergonomics, product display and brand image have no significant effect on purchase intention. Price discount is not able to moderate the effect of ergonomics, product display and brand image on purchase intention. While the product knowledge variable is excluded from the model structure because it produces multicollinearity which means there is a significant relationship between exogenous variables.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of service quality and price on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention at PT X, a logistics service company in Surabaya. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling (customers who had used the service at least three times). Data analysis employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results indicate that service quality has no significant effect on customer satisfaction or repurchase intention. Price has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction but not on repurchase intention. Customer satisfaction also has no significant effect on repurchase intention. These findings suggest that in the competitive logistics industry, price plays a greater role in shaping short-term satisfaction, while customer loyalty requires additional factors such as delivery reliability and trust. Practical implications emphasize the importance of competitive pricing strategies balanced with improvements in non-price aspects to foster sustainable repurchase behavior.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of product, place, and promotion on purchase decision, customer satisfaction, brand image, and repurchase among customers of Mr. Suprek Surabaya. A quantitative survey of 100 respondents who had purchased Mr. Suprek products was analyzed using covariance-based structural equation modeling with maximum likelihood estimation in AMOS. Price was excluded from the model because of multicollinearity. Place and promotion have positive and significant effects on purchase decision, whereas product does not. Product and purchase decision increase customer satisfaction, while place and promotion do not. Brand image is shaped by product and place, but not by promotion or satisfaction. Repurchase is significantly influenced only by brand image. The findings separate acquisition from retention: place and promotion matter more for the first visit, product matters more for satisfaction and image, and brand image is the main pathway to repurchase. Managers of Mr. Suprek should therefore distinguish tactics that attract customers from tactics that keep them.
