Abstract

Most of the people of Tlogohaji Village are shallot farmers. However, the community's economy is still at the lower middle level. This is because one of them is that the community has not been able to process the harvested shallots so that the people who are mostly farmers directly sell them to collectors. On the other hand, this potential should be used as an opportunity to be developed so that it can improve the welfare of the community through processing shallot agricultural products. Therefore, this community service activity aims to improve community knowledge and skills through community empowerment activities in Tlogohaji Village, Sumberrejo District, Bojonegoro Regency in developing shallot agro-industry villages through a holistic program of village development and empowerment (PHP2D) in 2021. community empowerment activities through PHP2D, including socialization activities for the development of agro-industrial villages, training / counseling on shallot cultivation, shallot processing, marketing of processed shallot products, and processing of onion skin waste. The activity involved village officials, PKK, Karang Taruna, BUMDes, as well as onion farmer groups. Based on the activities carried out, the results obtained through these activities showed that as many as 70% of the people who participated in the activities already had the understanding and skills in developing agro-industrial villages. The achievement of the objectives of the activity is also shown by the community through increasing enthusiasm and positive motivation in processing agricultural shallots into various types of products as an indicator of the development of agro-industrial villages. In addition, the community has the insight and skills in processing and packaging processed shallot products, such as fried onions, chili sauce, and onion powder. This is then used to market processed onion products that have been produced, both online and marketed directly. Thus, the community empowerment activities carried out have been carried out properly according to the expected goals, namely empowering the people of Tlogohaji Village, Sumberrejo District, Bojonegoro Regency so that they have the insight and skills to process and market the results of onion processing.

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang minat baca warganya tergolong sangat rendah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil indeks nasional yang menyebutkan bahwa indeks baca di Indonesia hanya 0,01. Rendahnya minat baca menyebabkan rendahnya pula mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan warga Indonesia khususnya anak-anak lebih suka menonton tv, bermain games dan media sosial lainnya daripada membaca buku. Jika hal tersebut dibiarkan terus-menerus akan mengakibatkan anak cenderung pasif, tidak bisa bersosialisasi dengan teman sebaya, dan akan mempengaruhi kesehatan terutama mata anak. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat baca adalah dengan Gerakan Smart and Fun. Gerakan ini adalah suatu gerakan di bidang pendidikan yang mempunyai konsep belajar menyenangkan karena menggabungkan kegiatan minat baca dengan pembuatan berbagai karya dan bermain dengan permainan tradisional. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini, yaitu (1) memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya membaca, (2) memberikan wawasan yang lebih luas kepada anak-anak, (3) menciptakan kegiatan positif yang menyenangkan, dan (4) menumbuhkan sikap aktif dan meningkatkan sosialisasi antarteman. Adapun metode pelaksanaan dari program terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Tahap persiapan meliputi survei lokasi, mengurus perizinan, dan mempersiapkan alat. Sedangkan tahap pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan minat baca, pembuatan karya, dan bermain permainan tradisional. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan selama 3 bulan dengan melihat indikator keberhasilan jangka pendek menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan minat baca anak-anak sebesar 33,5 %. Jumlah tersebut diperoleh dari hasil angket sebesar 50 % menjadi 83,5 %. Jadi, program yang dilaksanakan di Desa Soko RT 04 RW 02 Galagah Lamongan dapat dikatakan memberikan hasil yang baik bagi masyarakat sasaran khususnya anak-anak. Konsep program ini sangat mudah dan sederhana sehingga dapat diterapkan di daerah yang memiliki permasalahan yang sama. Kata kunci: Gerakan Smart and Fun, minat baca, anak-anak Abstarct Indonesia is one of the countries with a very low reading interest. This is evidenced by the results of the national index which states that the reading index in indonesia is only 0,01. The low reading interest causes the low quality of education in Indonesia. this is because Indonesians, especially children, prefer watching TV, playing games and other social media than reading books. If this is allowed to continue it will result in children tend to be passive, unable to socialize with peers, and will affect health, especially the eyes of children. One effort to overcome the low interest in reading is the Smart and Fun Movement. This movement is a movement in the field of education that has the concept of fun learning because it combines the activities of reading interest by making various works and playing with traditional games. The objectives of this activity, namely (1) provide an understanding of the importance of reading, (2) provide broader insight to children, (3) create pleasant positive activities, and (4) foster an active attitude and improve socialization between friends. The implementation method of the program consist of several stages, namely the preparation and implementation stages. The preparation phase includes site surveys, arranging permits, and preparing tools. While the implemetation phase includes activities in reading interest, making works, and playing tarditional games. Based on the implemetation of activities that have been carried out for 3 months by looking at indicators of short-terms succes shows that there has been an increase in children’s reading interest by 33,5%. This amount is obtained from the results of a questionnaire of 50% to 83,5%. So, the program implemented ini Soko Village RT 04 RW 02 Glagah Lamongan can be said to provide good results for the target community, especially children. The concept of this program is very easy and simple so that it can be applied in areas that have the same problems. Keywords: Smart and Fun Movement, reading interest, children

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan diksi dan gaya bahasa komentator sepak bola Persela Lamongan lawan Madura United di tv indosiar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan komentator sepak bola. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik rekam, transkripsi, simak, catat, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa transkripsi, identifikasi, dan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) jenis diksi yang digunakan dalam komentator sepak bola Persela Lamongan lawan Madura United meliputi kata tidak baku, makna denotasi, makna konotasi; (2) jenis gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam komentator sepak bola Persela Lamongan lawan Madura United meliputi metafora, antitesis, pleonasme, hiperbola, klimaks, elipsis, dan epizeukis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe language errors in terms of spelling and effective sentences in Thai student papers at Unisda Lamongan which was carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources of this study were obtained from Thai students, especially in the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education who studied at Unisda Lamongan, totaling five students. The collection techniques carried out by researchers are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. Data collection instruments using student papers and corpus data sheets. While the data analysis techniques used in this study were data selection, identification of language errors, classifying errors, analyzing data, and concluding the results. Based on the results of research conducted by this researcher, Thai students' papers at Unisda Lamongan found spelling errors, redundancies, incoherence, and illogicalities. Spelling errors, namely: (1) errors in writing capital letters and italics, (2) errors in writing prepositions in (3) writing errors in punctuation, including: (a) errors in the use of periods, (b) errors in the use of commas, (c) ) errors in the use of hyphens, and (d) errors in the use of question marks. Sentence redundancy, there is an excessive use of two conjunctions, the use of words have the same meaning, excessive use of the subject, and the use of formed words and their meanings. Incoherence in sentences, there is the use of conjunctions and excessive use of conjunctions about. The illogicality of the sentence, there is the use of words that cannot be accepted by common sense.

Abstract

This study aims to describe spelling errors in terms of writing letters, writing words, and using punctuation marks in student articles from the Universitas Islam Darul `Ulum Lamongan (Unisda). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data source was obtained from students of the Islamic Unisda with a total of 10 students. The data collection techniques used are documentation, reading, and note-taking techniques. The instrument used to measure spelling errors in student articles from the Islamic Unisda is a data copy sheet. Data analysis techniques carried out in this study were rereading the collected data, analyzing letter writing errors, analyzing word writing errors, analyzing punctuation errors, and concluding the results of the error analysis. Based on this research that has been carried out by researchers, the results found spelling errors are that there are errors in writing letters in student articles from Unisda 221 errors, there are errors in word writing in student articles from Unisda 90 errors, and there are usage errors punctuation in the student's article from the Islamic University Darul Ulum Lamongan 202 errors.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in learning Indonesian negotiation text material by measuring the quality of the learning media. This research was tested at SMK Wachid Hasyim Maduran. The subject of the study was a class X student majoring in Multimedia with a total of 37 students. This type of research is research and development, which adapts to the Borg and Gall development procedure which consists of 10 stages but is only used by 6-stage researchers due to time constraints. The results showed that: the development of interactive powepoint-based learning media products has gone through the assessment stage by media expert lecturers, material expert lecturers, practitioners (teachers), field trials (students). The assessment by media expert lecturers got a percentage of 88% including the decent category. Assessment by material expert lecturers gets a percentage of 80% including the decent category. Practicality assessment by teachers gets a percentage of 100% belonging to the category of feasible. The results of the student trial, the percentage of scores obtained by 84% is included in the decent category. The overall scoring average gets a final score of 88% with a decent category. Based on the results of the nlai, it means that the interactive powepoint-based learning media that has been developed is suitable for use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of poster media in learning Indonesian fable story material by measuring the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the poster media. This research was tested at MTs Al Khoiriyah 2 Mulyorejo Dalegan Panceng Gresik, the subject of the research was class VII stud ents with 10 students. This study uses a development model as suggested by Thiagarajan and Sammel (1974). This model consists of four stages of development, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. The instruments used in this study were a material expert validation questionnaire, design expert validation, practicality questionnaire, student response questionnaire and pretest posttest questions to determine the effectiveness of teaching materials in the form of poster media. The results show that: the development of poster media products has gone through the assessment stage by material expert lecturers, design expert lecturers, practitioners (teachers), field trials (students). The overall rating average got a final score of 89.6% with a very decent category. Based on these results, the teaching materials in the form of poster media that have been developed are feasible to use.

Abstract

Karangwungu Village, Karanggeneng District, Lamongan Regency, is one of the villages with great potential in developing Small and Medium Enterprises (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah). 18 household heads run a cottage industry by producing herbal medicine as well as tempeh and tofu as the village's main products. The cottage industry is quite promising as a support for the community's economy, but it is still carried out traditionally. This is because they do not know how to use information technology. For this reason, through the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) in 2021, training was carried out to increase their insight so that they can market and package products more attractively. This needs to be done so that the products can reach a wider range of consumers. The methods used are observation, training, and reflection. The training resulted in the branding name 'Menjamu' as a brand of herbal medicine, and the packaging design was made. The results of the reflection showed that the community felt enthusiastic and was greatly helped by the training because it could increase their insight regarding product branding and packaging. This is expected to increase the results of product marketing that can strengthen the community's economy.(Desa Karangwungu, Kecamatan Karanggeneng, Kabupaten Lamongan, merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah). Terdapat 18 kepala keluarga yang menjalankan industri rumahan dengan memproduksi jamu herbal serta tempe dan tahu sebagai produk unggulan desa. Industri rumahan tersebut cukup menjanjikan sebagai penopang ekonomi masyarat, tetapi masih dijalankan dengan cara tradisional. Hal tersebut disebabkan pelakunya belum memiliki pemahaman terkait teknologi informasi. Untuk itu, melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) pada 2021, dilakukan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan mereka agar dapat mem-branding dan mengemas produk dengan lebih menarik. Hal tersebut perlu dilakukan agar produk yang dihasilkan dapat menjangkau konsumen yang lebih luas. Metode yang digunakan ialah observasi, pelatihan, dan refleksi. Pelatihan menghasilkan nama branding ‘menjamu’ sebagai merek jamu herbal sekaligus pembuatan desain kemasannya. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat merasa antusias dan sangat terbantu dengan diadakannya pelatihan karena dapat meningkatkan wawasan mereka terkait branding dan packaging produk. Hal tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil pemasaran produk yang dapat menguatkan ekonomi masyarakat).

Abstract

The implementation of distance learning (PJJ) due to the Covid-19 pandemic has encountered several obstacles. This was found in SDN Pengumbulanadi II, where most of the teachers were not proficient in operating and using computers. Even though schools have received educational facilities in the form of computers as an effort to improve the quality of learning during the pandemic through the Lamongan District Education Office. This causes the students to consider PJJ which has been implemented so far to be monotonous and boring. To overcome this problem, through the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Thematic Covid-19 Unisda 2020 carried out socialization and training activities aimed at optimizing the learning facilities that have been provided so as to increase the creativity of teachers in presenting learning. The method used is to provide understanding and experience in operating computers to assist teachers in planning and developing creative and fun learning media for students. The results of these activities indicate that the socialization and training activities carried out can improve the skills and creativity of teachers in planning and developing learning media through the use of computers. This increase can be seen from the results of interviews and questionnaires that were filled out by the teacher before and after the activity ended. ABSTRAK: Pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) sebagai dampak yang disebabkan adanya pandemi Covid-19 telah menemui beberapa kendala. Hal tersebut ditemukan di SDN Pengumbulanadi II yang sebagian besar gurunya belum mahir mengoperasikan dan memanfaatkan komputer. Padahal sekolah telah mendapatkan bantuan sarana pendidikan berupa komputer sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran selama pandemi melalui Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Lamongan. Hal tersebut menyebabkan PJJ yang dilakukan selama ini dinilai monoton dan membosankan oleh siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik Covid-19 Unisda 2020 dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan bantuan sarana pembelajaran yang telah diberikan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam menyajikan pembelajaran. Metode yang dilakukan ialah dengan memberikan pemahaman dan pengalaman dalam mengoperasikan komputer untuk dapat membantu guru dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas guru dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran melalui penggunaan komputer. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan wawancara dan angket yang diisi oleh guru yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah kegiatan berakhir.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan di lapangan yang menunjukkan lemahnya perhatian masyarakat Desa Sendangrejo terhadap lingkungannya. Hal tersebut tampak pada melimpahnya sampah dedaunan yang ada di desa belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam mengelola sampah menjadi salah satu sebab lemahnya karakter peduli lingkungan seseorang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk dapat menginternalisasi nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui kegiatan pendampingan di luar kelas. Mitra pengabdian ini ialah SDN 4 Sendangrejo dengan asumsi bahwa karakter peserta didik di usia tersebut masih dapat ditanamkan melalui pendidikan dan kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah metode sosialisasi (tentang kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan), demonstrasi (pemanfaatan sampah menjadi pupuk kompos), pelatihan (pemanfaatan barang bekas), serta pelibatan secara langsung peserta didik dalam kegiatan kerja bakti, dan evaluasi. Melalui kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut, peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman secara langsung sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepeduliannya terhadap lingkungan. Hal tersebut tampak pada sikap-sikap peserta didik selama masa pengabdian yang semula tidak peduli pada sampah-sampah di lingkungan sekolahnya menjadi lebih peduli untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan di sekitarnya. Sikap tersebut ditunjukkan di antaranya melalui jadwal piket yang dilaksanakan dengan baik, toilet sekolah lebih bersih dan tidak lagi bau, sampah-sampah dibuang di tempat sampah sesuai jenisnya, serta meningkatnya partisipasi peserta didik dan dukungan guru dalam setiap kegiatan pendampingan di luar kelas yang dirutinkan pihak sekolah.
