Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji pentingnya kolaborasi multi-stakeholder antara pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di daerah terpencil Papua. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan utama dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan, peran strategis masing-masing pemangku kepentingan, serta model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang efektif dalam membangun sinergi kolaboratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan geografis, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kesenjangan kualitas menjadi hambatan utama yang dapat diatasi melalui kolaborasi terstruktur. Artikel ini menawarkan rekomendasi praktis bagi kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin transformasional dalam memfasilitasi kolaborasi multi-stakeholder yang berkelanjutan untuk mewujudkan pendidikan berkualitas di daerah terpencil Papua.

Abstract

Gaya kepemimpinan yang dikenal sebagai "kepemimpinan demokratis" mendorong setiap orang di perusahaan untuk memiliki suara dalam keputusan-keputusan besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran rinci tentang bagaimana kepala sekolah SDN Balerejo menggunakan kepemimpinan demokratis untuk membuat keputusan tentang iklim sekolah. Pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Informasi dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan dokumen, wawancara mendalam dengan pejabat sekolah, fakultas, dan perwakilan orang tua siswa, dan observasi kelas. Menurut penelitian, kepala sekolah SDN Balerejo mempraktikkan kepemimpinan demokratis. Ini termasuk: (1) melibatkan orang tua, guru, dan staf dalam diskusi tentang kebijakan sekolah; (2) mendorong orang untuk berpartisipasi aktif dengan memberikan saran, ide, dan kritik yang membangun; (3) menghormati sudut pandang yang berbeda dan mencoba untuk mencapai konsensus ketika membuat keputusan; (4) menugaskan tanggung jawab dan wewenang kepada bawahan berdasarkan keterampilan mereka; dan (5) memupuk lingkungan di mana setiap orang bertanggung jawab. Peningkatan keterlibatan siswa, rasa kebersamaan yang lebih kuat, dan kepemilikan kolektif atas keberhasilan sekolah adalah semua hasil dari gaya kepemimpinan demokratis ini dalam tindakan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of learning media as a means of learning activities. While technology has been growing and the limitations of learning media in schools are not a barrier to progress but become the basis for making a breakthrough or educational innovation. This study aims to develop and test the validity of the LKPD PAK product for fifth grade students. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. However, it is only limited to the development stage (validity test). The development of this LKPD includes designing interesting materials, describing student activities and providing evaluation questions. The subject of the validity test is 1 lecturer and 2 Christian teachers. The three validators validate the LKPD that has been made, which consists of educational technology experts and material experts. The three validators will assess in terms of the aspects that become indicators. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and questionnaires. The specifications on this product are in the form of a LINK which has learning features according to the development of the material being carried out. The product of this research has fulfilled the validity aspect so that it can be used as an alternative teaching material for teachers to use in the learning process. The development of Android-based LKPD with a contextual teaching and learning approach on the meaning of sin and the impact of sin can be carried out on other learning materials or can even be applied to other subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the context of the Upa Indigenous People on Manggadua and analyze the management of Upa indigenous-based education at the Indigenous School of Lumah Ajare on Seram Island. This research used realist ethnographic research. This research data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing was carried out using technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques with the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research show that the Upa Indigenous People in Manggadua are the Upa people with the surname Lilihata who have lived in Saunulu for a long time. They carry out the practice of inheriting Upa traditional knowledge through the organization of the School Indigenous of Lumah Ajare. Upa indigenous-based education management at the Indigenous School of Lumah Ajare is implemented through the POAC model. This illustrates the planning of the student Siwa curriculum which combines nature and tradition as its basis in a simple manner containing nine main materials; have clear organizing by involving Care Community Local communities of Lumah Ajare as a facilitator and Indigenous Peoples as the highest decision makers; actuating, learning that runs flexibly in Indigenous Community groups; as well as controlling or supervising that is carried out well by all elements of the Indigenous Community. Upa's indigenous-based education management research can have positive implications for the sustainable inheritance of indigenous knowledge in the lives of the Seram Island Indigenous People.

Abstract

Using CIPP Model to evaluate the effectiveness of flexible learning implementation in Satya Wacana Christian University. Purpose: This study aims to assess the effectiveness of flexible learning-based learning at the university level. Method: The research approach uses a mixed method with a sequential explanatory model. The quantitative method is used in the first stage then the qualitative method is used in the second stage. The research subjects were 19 lecturers and 150 students and 1 head of the Bureau of Technology and Information Systems (BTSI) who manages f-learn. The qualitative of the data was obtained through interviews and document study analyzed using Miles and Huberman's model. Quantitative data obtained from numbers with descriptive analysis. Findings: The results showed that the evaluation of context aspects of learning-based f-learn was in the very good category, the evaluation of input aspects was in the good category, the evaluation of process aspects was in the good category, and the evaluation of product aspects was in the good category. Conclusion: Thus, f-learn-based learning has an impact on increasing students' and lecturers' knowledge and mastery of information technology. Abstract

Optimizing Human Capital in School Management: The Principal’s Role in Enhancing Educational Service Effectiveness. This research evaluates school principals' performance in improving education quality through a human capital approach. School principals have a strategic role in managing school human resources to create effective and quality educational services. This research uses a qualitative approach with evaluative methods to analyze the implementation of human capital at Lentera Ambarawa Christian Elementary School. The research results show that strategies for increasing the competency of teaching staff, optimizing administrative staff, and implementing a data-based evaluation system contribute to improving the effectiveness of schools as public services. However, there are still challenges in strengthening the reward system and continuous training for education staff. Therefore, a more systematic and sustainable human capital management policy is needed to ensure that every policy implemented positively impacts the quality of education.Keywords: principal, human capital, education quality, performance evaluation, public services.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance and quality of education based on the four perspectives of the balanced Scorecard at Junior high school (SMPN) 8 Insumbrei, Supiori Regency, Papua. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method utilizing the Balanced Scorecard perspectives, including the financial, customer, internal business, and growth and learning perspectives. The research subjects included 27 individuals, consisting of 9 teachers, 10 students, and 8 community members. Data collection techniques involved documentation analysis, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing interactive data analysis involving data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings showed that: 1) from a financial perspective, in economic terms, effectiveness and efficiency score 4 with a good category, 2) from a customer perspective, it scores 4 with a good category, 3) based on the internal business perspective, the measurement results show a score of 3 with enough category, and 4) from a learning and growth perspective, it scores 4 with a good category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of school principals and how it influences teacher performance. This research is evaluation research with a discrepancy model and a research approach using descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is SD Negeri 02 Kumpulrejo Salatiga. Data collection techniques use qualitative data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data triangulation uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. Technical triangulation was carried out through interviews, documentation studies, and observations. Source triangulation was carried out by matching the results of the principal's interview with the results of interviews with teachers, supervisors, and school committees by providing the same question instrument. The data analysis technique consists of three activity streams, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that from each stage in the discrepancy evaluation model, namely the design, installation, process, product, and cost-benefit stages, it is stated that the principal's managerial performance has met the standards of adequacy, suitability, and fairness. So it can be concluded that the principal has been able to carry out his managerial competencies well.

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the implementation of the career guidance program at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga, based on the Context, Input, Process and Product method. This research is an evaluative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The analysis technique used in this research is the Miles & Hubberman qualitative analysis technique which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification. The validation test in this research was done using a triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this research show that: 1) for Context, there are high support from schools, and the goals are prepared in line with the school's vision and mission; 2) ior Input,  there are sufficient ratio of teachers to students, availability of budget for program implementation, programs and materials that are prepared based on student and school needs, as well as availability of supporting infrastructure for the implementation of career guidance programs; 3) for Process, procedures are implemented by adopting guidance and counseling services, the evaluation and follow-up are not implemented sufficiently, the student involvement is good, and the school community supports the implementation of career guidance and DUDI participates in program implementation. There are obstacles in implementing the career guidance program, which are: the lack of time due to assignments and busy school activities; 4) for Product, it can be stated that the budget and infrastructure are relatively sufficient, the program implementation is 80%, the impact of implementing career guidance is that students get an idea of ​​career direction.

Abstract

This research aims to tested the Discovery Learning model is more effective than Inquiry Learning model seen from critical thinking skills of mathematic for students grade 5. This research used the Quasi experimental design. The sample of research is 24 students grade 5 at Sidorejo Lor 03 elementary school as experimenta class and 24 students at Sidorejo Lor 02 as control class. The variable of the research is Discovery learning and Inquiry Learning as X variabel and critical thinking as Y variable. The techique data analysis used normality datatest, homogenity test, t-test, and hypothesis test. The result of t-test score is sig (2-tailed) 0,003 ˂ 0,005 and the conclusion that Ho is refused and Ha is accepted, so the implementating of Discovery learning model is better than Inquiry Learning model seen from critical thinking skills of mathematic grade 5 of students elemtary school, difference in effectiveness model for critical thinking skills supported with the result of post test both of the classes is 81 experimental class and 72 control class.
