Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between mobile app usability, data privacy, brand loyalty, and customer retention in Indonesia's online transportation services industry. Using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze data from a sample of users, the results show that both mobile app usability and data privacy significantly affect brand loyalty, which, in turn, strongly predicts customer retention. Additionally, usability and privacy have direct effects on retention. The mediation analysis highlights the role of brand loyalty in amplifying the impact of usability and privacy on retention. These findings offer practical insights for online transportation service providers seeking to improve customer experiences, loyalty, and retention.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of driver safety protocols, emergency response systems, insurance coverage, and customer feedback on service quality in Indonesia's ride-hailing industry. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were collected from 400 ride-hailing users through a structured survey, while qualitative insights were gathered from 20 semi-structured interviews with drivers, customers, and company representatives. The findings indicate that emergency response systems have the most significant positive effect on service quality, followed by customer feedback and driver safety protocols. Although insurance coverage is also important, it demonstrated a comparatively lower impact. The study highlights the need for ride-hailing companies to enhance safety measures, improve communication regarding insurance, and develop robust customer feedback mechanisms to foster trust and satisfaction. These insights provide actionable recommendations for industry stakeholders and contribute to the theoretical understanding of service quality determinants in the ride-hailing context.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the potential development of a tourism-based creative economy in coastal communities on Kera Nepa Beach, Sampang Regency. This study describes the use of the marketing mix, namely Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People, as an effort to create economic lean in coastal communities, especially on the north coast of Kera Nepa, Sampang Regency, Madura. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data was obtained from observation, interviews, and FGD using SWOT analysis techniques. The results obtained show that the economic development of Nepa Tourism Beach experienced less good development at the end of this period compared to several other tourist beaches in Sampang Regency which tended to increase. Researchers also found the need for a business strategy by diversifying products, namely changing market share by combining it with product changes. And it is necessary to increase the number of tourist visits to the area. Apart from that, it can also empower all existing resources around tourist attractions, both in terms of human resources and existing facilities. Researchers also found the influence of social, economic, cultural, and environmental impacts on local communities which had an impact on the weak entrepreneurial spirit

Abstract

This study aims to address two main theses. First, this study focuses on the question of how technology and digitalization create people who cannot be separated from technology, called homo digitalis. Second, this study seeks to open a discourse of “new space” that is different from the real space created by homo digitalis. By using the method of literature review, this study is expected to lay the foundation for scientific studies on digitalization and the formation of new spaces in the era of digital technology. The results of the study refer to two basic arguments. First, homo digitalis is not just a user of technology. He exists through and in digital machines. That is, he exists in the confinement and governmentality of digital technology. Second, the new space created by homo digitalis is very different from real space. This does not mean that the new space is notreal, but the new space is considered real even though it is telepresent. This study is the basis for redefining space and human existence in the digital world.

Abstract

Current global challenges, such as climate uncertainty and population growth, demand robust and sustainable supply chain management systems. Existing management models often fail to comprehensively integrate sustainability dimensions, particularly in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to food security. By combining the principles of sustainability and resilience, the proposed model is expected to serve as a guide for stakeholders in making strategic decisions to achieve a more efficient, sustainable, and crisis-adaptive supply chain, while contributing significantly to the achievement of the SDGs. The fisheries supply chain faces serious challenges in transparency, traceability, and distribution inequality, which directly impact the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Blockchain technology presents an innovative solution to improve data integrity and logistics efficiency.  This study aims to analyze the most prioritized blockchain implementation strategies to strengthen food security in the fisheries industry. Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach, weighting of the criteria and sub-criteria influencing blockchain adoption was carried out. The results indicate that data transparency and product traceability are the top priorities in the supply chain. This study provides strategic recommendations for policymakers and industry players to accelerate the blockchain-based digital transformation of the marine and fisheries sector.
