Abstract

Desa Penatahan adalah desa yang berada di Penebel, Tabanan, Bali. Sampah merupakan material sisa yang dianggap tidak berguna lagi. Kesadaran Masyarakat Desa Penatahan terhadap kepedulian dalam menangani sampah terlihat masih sangat kurang, dimana masih banyak masyarakat yang sering membuang sampah sembarangan. Hal tersebut dikhawatirkan akan ditiru oleh anak-anak desa sebagai penerus dan juga daya dukung lingkungan akan semakin lemah dikarenakan pencemaran yang terjadi. Pemilahan sampah tidak hanya melestarikan lingkungan melainkan dapat membantu perekonomian masyarakat dengan membuat kerajinan tangan sehingga menjadi nilai jual dan sampah organikpun dapat diolah kembali menjadi kompos. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk kuliah kerja nyata dari kelompok modul 2 bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pemilahan sampah organik. Hasil kegiatan pegabdian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi dari kegiatan tersebut dapat memberikan kesadaran dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat serta pembentukan karakter dengan melalui penyampaian materi dan diskusi terkait pentingnya memilah sampah organik dan anorganik. Saran yang diberikan yaitu dari program sosialisasi pemilahan sampah, masyarakat diharapkan dapat melanjutkan sikap membuang sampah sesuai jenisnya dan perangkat desa juga diharapkan mampu menyediakan sarana dalam pemilahan sampah, seperti tempat sampah sesuai jenis sampahnya agar mampu mendukung masyarakat dalam melakukan pemilahan sampah. ABSTRACT Penatahan Village is located in Penebel, Tabanan, Bali. Waste is leftover material that is no longer considered useful. The awareness of the Penatahan Village Community towards concern in handling waste is still very lacking, where there are still many people who often litter. It is feared that it will be imitated by the village children as a successor and also the carrying capacity of the environment will be weaker due to the pollution that occurs. Waste sorting not only preserves the environment but can help the community's economy by making handicrafts so that they become selling points and organic waste can be processed back into compost. Community service activities in the form of a real work lecture from the module 2 group aim to educate the community about sorting organic waste. The results of this service activity can be concluded that the implementation of these activities can provide awareness and understanding to the community and character building through the delivery of material and discussions related to the importance of sorting organic and inorganic waste. The advice given is that from the waste sorting socialization program, the community is expected to continue the attitude of disposing of waste according to its type and village officials are also expected to be able to provide facilities for sorting waste, such as trash bins according to the type of waste in order to support the community in sorting waste. Abstract

A few years earlier, the world was going through a critical period due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. This outbreak then changed its status from a pandemic to an endemic, people must continue to maintain their own health, including in a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives. This service focuses on implementing community service programs that focus on the goal of fostering a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation in Krapyak village, Sleman regency. The assessment methods used in this community service program are lecture, observation, and demonstration methods. The target object of this service is the community and young people of the tourist village of Kampung Emas Yogyakarta. The result of this program is the implementation of sports-based healthy lifestyle workshops for the younger generation and figures in the village which are then optimized with sports mentoring activities in order to understand and familiarize a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation in Krapyak village through physical activity. The coaching of sports activities carried out is badminton, table tennis, archery, mini soccer, pencak silat, outbound, and gymnastics. The implementation of this service received a positive response from the community where the service was served. In the future, service can be done again by further activating the youth element of the village cadets who can act as service partners and maintain the continuity of the coaching program at all times. Keywords: Coaching, golden village, health., healthy lifestyle, sport-tourism. Abstrak Beberapa tahun sebelumnya, kondisi dunia yang sedang melewati masa-masa kritis akibat pandemi Covid-19. Wabah ini kemudian berubah statusnya dari pandemi menjadi sebuah endemi, masyarakat harus tetap menjaga kesehatan dirinya masing-masing, termasuk dalam pola hidup sehat di kehidupannya sehari-hari. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang fokus pada tujuan untuk pembinaan pola hidup sehat para generasi muda di desa Krapyak wilayah kabupaten Sleman. Adapun metode pengkajian yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah, observasi, dan demonstrasi. Adapun sasaran objek pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat dan anak-anak muda desa wisata Kampung Emas Yogyakarta. Hasil kegiatan dari program ini adalah dilaksanakannya kegiatan workshop pola hidup sehat berbasis olahraga pada generasi muda dan tokoh-tokoh di desa yang kemudian dioptimalkan dengan kegiatan pendampingan olahraga dalam rangka meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus membiasakan pola hidup sehat bagi generasi muda di desa Krapyak melalui aktivitas fisik. Adapun pembinaan kegiatan olahraga yang dilaksanakan adalah bulu tangkis, tenis meja, panahan, mini soccer, pencak silat, outbond, dan senam. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat tempat pengabdian. Kedepannya, pengabdian bisa dilakukan lagi dengan lebih mengaktifkan elemen pemuda karang taruna desa yang bisa berperan sebagai rekan pengabdian dan menjaga keberlangsungan program pembinaan setiap waktunya. Abstract

Literatur review ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas terapi air (aquatic therapy) dan hidroterapi pada anak-anak dengan cerebral palsy tipe spastik berdasarkan tiga penelitian utama. Penelitian pertama menunjukkan bahwa program latihan air secara signifikan dapat mengurangi spastisitas otot dan meningkatkan kontrol motorik pada anak dengan cerebral palsy hemiplegik spastik. Hal ini diukur melalui H-reflex dan rasio H/M, dengan latihan yang dikombinasikan bersama terapi darat dan penggunaan ankle foot orthosis (AFO) sebagai rutinitas di rumah. Penelitian kedua menyoroti manfaat terapi berbasis konsep Halliwick yang meningkatkan fungsi motorik kasar, kekuatan otot, kontrol postur, serta mengurangi rasa sakit dan spastisitas. Pendekatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif pada kualitas hidup anak-anak dengan cerebral palsy, termasuk meningkatkan skor Physical Activity Enjoyment Scale. Penelitian ketiga mengkaji pengaruh hidroterapi terhadap kekuatan otot dan rentang gerak sendi anak dengan cerebral palsy tipe spastik. Hasilnya menunjukkan pengaruh yang terbatas, yang kemungkinan disebabkan oleh waktu pelatihan yang singkat dan kondisi kesehatan anak yang kurang stabil. Secara keseluruhan, terapi air dan hidroterapi terbukti memberikan manfaat fisiologis dan psikososial yang signifikan bagi anak-anak dengan cerebral palsy, meskipun hasilnya bervariasi tergantung pada desain intervensi dan kondisi subjek. Literatur review ini dilakukan menggunakan metode pencarian PICO pada database seperti Google Scholar dan PubMed, yang menghasilkan lima jurnal utama yang menyatakan bahwa hidroterapi menunjukkan efek yang signifikan.

Abstract

In language learning contexts, conventional methods frequently fail to engage students meaningfully, making it difficult to improve their academic achievement and learning motivation. Addressing this issue, teachers' personal storytelling in learning various languages has the potential to make the learning environment more approachable and motivational. This study looks into the impact of using the teacher's personal storytelling in learning other languages on students' academic achievement and motivation. A quasi-experimental approach was adopted, with a single experimental group comprising 36 senior high school students from Indonesia. The findings show that personal storytelling greatly enhanced both academic achievement and learning motivation. Students found the strategy engaging, unique, and contextually relevant, which improved their grasp of the topics covered. Furthermore, students noted that the strategy helped them reflect on their personal language learning journeys, inspiring them to better understand English and thereby improving their academic achievement. Overall, this approach made language learning more enjoyable and vivacious. The findings indicate that personal storytelling is an excellent teaching strategy that provides a contextual, engaging, interactive, and unique approach to language acquisition. It is recommended for teachers who want to create an engaging and relevant classroom learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic review related to academic anxiety management strategies in students, especially relevant to the field of physiotherapy in the context of Communication Psychology and Psychosomatic Disorders courses. Literature searches were conducted on PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases for the period 2015–2025. Inclusion criteria include empirical research articles that evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies (psychological and non-psychological) on students' academic anxiety, with a population of at least 50% of students of the health study program. Of the 1,247 articles identified, 28 met the inclusion criteria. The results of the review showed several groups of effective strategies, including a cognitive-behavioral approach (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with psychoeducation and skills training programs, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)-based interventions, relaxation and diaphragmatic breathing techniques, time management and workload management training, and social support through peer mentoring groups. In particular, studies in physiotherapy students emphasized the need for integrated support programs that focus on recognizing signs of somatic stress (e.g. headaches, muscle tension) and providing effective communication guidance between lecturers and students to reduce anxiety. These findings are expected to be the basis for the development of guidelines for academic anxiety management strategies that meet the needs of the physiotherapy study program.

Abstract

In the modern era, the erosion of values and character among students due to technological advancements requires an ideal educational concept that maximizes character education. This study explores an educational concept that synergizes mosques, Islamic boarding schools, and universities in one unit-triple helix. Employing a library approach, the data sources in this study are printed and digital texts, as well as books and manuscripts. The findings of this study reveal that the concept of education which combines the natures of mosques, Islamic boarding schools, and universities (triple helix) as foundational pillars plays a pivotal role in shaping an individual's character through exemplary practices. Within the concept of the mosque, the education is to maximize various activities related to the mosque. In the Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) concept, education focuses on the application of the Pesantren system within the university education curriculum. Meanwhile, the concept of university refers to the Islamization of science, as seen in the curriculum of Universitas Darussalam Gontor, Indonesia.
