Abstract

The existence of the Indonesian Stock Exchange Sharia Investment Gallery in universities is expected to provide education from an early age about investing in the Islamic capital market and become an intermediary towards mastering science and its practice in the capital market to the academic world, but in fact the interest of academics, including students, to invest is relatively low as seen from the current number of investors, there are only 248 students out of a total of 2.939 FSEI students.  Therefore, this research is motivated by the low number of investors from among students who have become customers and actively invest in GIS BEI IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.  This study uses quantitative methods with a total sample of 97 respondents.  The results showed that investment knowledge partially has a positive and significant effect on student interest in investing in the Islamic capital market at GIS BEI IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.  While investment motivation partially does not have a positive and significant effect on students' interest in investing in the Islamic capital market at GIS BEI IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon and simultaneously investment knowledge and investment motivation have a positive and significant influence on student interest in investing in the Islamic capital market at GIS BEI IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon

Abstract

A good higher education institution is an institution that is able to increase employee engagement, in various innovative ways so that lecturers and education staff feel valued and appreciated. Employee engagement in this study refers to the explanation of Schaufeli (2002) which is a motivational condition of employees related to work, which is indicated by enthusiasm, dedication, and absorption. The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the comparison of employee engagement on lecturers and education personnel of generations X and Y. This type of research is a comparative descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Collecting data using a questionnaire distributed online. The samples used were 150 people from various generations of respondents, namely 73 generations and 77 generations Y. Meanwhile, the data analysis used descriptive analysis, classical assumption test analysis, and independent sample t-test to compare. The results ofthe study indicate that there is a significant difference in the level of employee engagement of lecturers and education personnel of generations X and Y.

Abstract

Objektif. Perkembangan ekonomi masyarakat modern semakin maju dan ditandai dengan banyaknya lembaga keuangan yang ada, namun banyak orang yang beranggapan bahwa lembaga keuangan syariah dan konvensional memiliki kriteria yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi alasan nasabah non-Muslim menjadi anggota di BMT Shohiul Ummat Remabang. Metode Riset. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan nasabah non-Muslim Hasil. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa faktor yang menjadikan minat atau keinginan nasabah non-Muslim menggunakan produk BMT Shohibul Ummat yaitu dorongan atau keinginan dari diri sendiri selain itu ada pengaruhnya dari orang terdekat dan ada faktor kepuasan ketika mendapatkan bagi hasil, bonus ataupun gift. Selain itu mengenai kecepatan saat bertransaksi atau pelayanan, profit sharing (bagi hasil), citra perusahaan Kesimpulan. Sebaiknya referensi mengenai tema tentang nasabah non-Muslim yang menjadi anggota di layanan non bank maupun bank yang berlandaskan syariah lebih ditingkatkan agar penelitian selanjutnya lebih maksimal.

Abstract

The community food barn is an institution located in the village and has an important role namely maintaining food reserves. This institution needs to be considered by all parties because this institution handles the needs of many people. The number of community food barn is decreasing and the quality is still traditional. one thing to note is the economic sistem used by the community food barn. Islamic economics is an economy that pays attention to the interests of the world and the hereafter. In addition, the trend of Islamic economics from year to year is increasing. So that there is a need for research on why The community food barn does not run a sharia economic sistem. This study aims to determine the cause of The community food barn not implementing an Islamic economic sistem, then give the best solution. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with the type of survey research. data collection techniques using interview and documentation techniques. In this study concludes that ignorance is the cause of not implementing Islamic economics then the solution is to introduce the basics of sharia economics related to contracts that can be used in agriculture.

Abstract

Gamifikasi merupakan konsep baru pada dunia kerja dan merupakan alat instrumen baru yang digunakan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja, motivasi, kepuasan, dan variabel yang lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat apakah gamification berpengaruh terhadap engagement karyawan generasi Z. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori dari Gamification dan Engagement. Gamification identik dengan kegiatan yang di dalamnya dimodifikasi dengan permainan, sedangkan engagement kondisi dimana seseorang terikat dengan pekerjaan atau organisasinya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan responden sebanyak 154. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu gamification berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat engagement karyawan generasi Z.Kata Kunci: Gamification, Engagement, Generasi Z

Abstract

A good organization is an organization that is able to increase employee engagement, in various innovative ways so that employees feel valued and appreciated. Employee engagement in this study refers to an explanation from Schaufeli (2002), which is a motivational condition of employees related to work, which is shown by vigor, dedication, and absorption. Every employee has a different level of engagement, including every employee of various generations. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the comparison of employee engagement in employees of generation X, Y, and Z. This type of research is a comparative descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Retrieving data using questionnaires distributed online. The sample used by 170 people from various generations of respondents was obtained, namely generation X as much as 32, generation Y as many as 98, and while generation Z as many as 40. While in the data analysis using descriptive analysis, inferential analysis, and one way ANOVA to compare. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of employee engagement for employees of generation X, Y, and Z. Employee engagement between generations X and Y were not significantly different, while generation Z was significantly different from generation X and Y.Keywords : employee engagement, generation X, generation Y, dan generation Z.

Abstract

This study explores the intersection of cultural beliefs and spatial dynamics shaping the economic activities of the ethnic Chinese community in Padang City, focusing on their empowerment through Minangkabau traditional philosophy. The research highlights how cultural values deeply influence identity, social interactions, and economic opportunities within a pluralistic society. A qualitative ethnographic approach was used to gather insights from key community members, including Minangkabau and non-Minangkabau residents, as well as the Tungku Tigo Sajarangan, which consists of ninik mamak (tribal leaders), alim ulama (religious scholars), and cadiak pandai (intellectuals). Interviews centered on cultural and economic integration, exploring how traditional Minangkabau norms intersect with ethnic Chinese values. The research reveals that the Minangkabau traditional philosophy fosters an environment of coexistence, allowing the ethnic Chinese community to practice their cultural traditions without violating the overarching norms of "Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah”. This cultural harmony supports economic engagement while respecting Confucian principles, which coexist with Minangkabau values. This study broadens the discourse on multiculturalism and economic interactions by highlighting how Minangkabau and Confucian values coexist within a shared economic and cultural space. The research provides new insights into the role of traditional philosophy in fostering economic inclusivity.

Abstract

Based on data from BSI's annual report, BSI's total deposits from 2021 continue to increase. However, BSI still faces challenges in increasing its deposits to strengthen its liquidity.. The purpose of this research is to find out how the strategy of optimizing the prize savings program and its impact on increasing DPK. The method used is qualitative method. The population used is BSI employees, while the sample used is BSI employees and taken using purposive sampling technique. The data source used is primary data from informants through interviews. The results showed that efforts to optimize the prize savings program at BSI KCP Rembang Sudirman were carried out by segmentation, promotion, and continuous offering, and visiting customers' homes for offers. The results of this optimization have had a positive effect on the increase in DPK since the beginning of 2024 so that the BSI KCP Rembang Sudirman rating is quite good because of consistent daily achievements. In addition to increasing DPK, optimizing this program can increase the number of new customers because it provides benefits to customers. The recommendation of this research is that Bank Syariah Indonesia must increase innovation through programs that can provide more value or benefits to customers.

Abstract

Leadership and work ethics, particularly Islamic or faith-based, are crucial indicators of employees’ well-being and work engagement. It increases helping behaviour through motivation and satisfaction levels achieved from a supportive work environment. The research aim is to examine the influence of Islamic leadership and Islamic work ethics on helping behaviour and work engagement through happiness at work to verify this phenomenon, data has been collected from 320 employees working with Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across central Java, Indonesia. All question items from all variables are said to be valid with a value of more than 0.7 and reliable with a value of more than 0.5. This is quantitative design research where a convenience sampling technique was employed. Statistical analysis was done through SmartPLS, revealing a direct relationship among all study variables, such as Islamic leadership, to helping behaviours and work engagement. Additionally, the study identified a direct relationship between Islamic work ethics and helping behaviours, except for a link with work engagement; similarly, employees’ happiness at the workplace acts as a mediator in this study. The hypothesis is accepted because the significance value is more than 1.97. While previous studies have examined workplace happiness and engagement broadly, limited attention has been paid to the role of faith-based leadership and ethics within SMEs in culturally diverse settings like Central Java, Indonesia. This study offers a novel perspective by discussing the pivotal role of Islamic leadership and Islamic work ethics in shaping workplace dynamics, particularly helping behaviour and engagement through happiness.

Abstract

Financial management is quite an important activity, especially for Generation Z as the next generation who can influence the country's economy. Poor financial behavior will reduce a person's standard of living. The aim of the research is to determine the level of financial literacy, spiritual intelligence and lifestyle hedonism on the financial management behavior of Generation Z in Pati Regency. This research used purposive sampling with a sample of 400 respondents. The analysis technique for this research uses the SPSS version 25 application, and data is obtained from distributing questionnaires online via form and distributing them directly to respondents. The results of this research show that financial literacy and spiritual intelligence have a positive influence on financial management behavior. Meanwhile, lifestyle hedonism has a negative influence on the financial management behavior of generation Z. The advice given is that generation Z needs to pay attention to their lifestyle so as not to be influenced by the negative impact of lifestyle hedonism, as well as increasing the level of literacy and spiritual understanding in order to create good financial management behavior.
