Abstract

Based on data from BSI's annual report, BSI's total deposits from 2021 continue to increase. However, BSI still faces challenges in increasing its deposits to strengthen its liquidity.. The purpose of this research is to find out how the strategy of optimizing the prize savings program and its impact on increasing DPK. The method used is qualitative method. The population used is BSI employees, while the sample used is BSI employees and taken using purposive sampling technique. The data source used is primary data from informants through interviews. The results showed that efforts to optimize the prize savings program at BSI KCP Rembang Sudirman were carried out by segmentation, promotion, and continuous offering, and visiting customers' homes for offers. The results of this optimization have had a positive effect on the increase in DPK since the beginning of 2024 so that the BSI KCP Rembang Sudirman rating is quite good because of consistent daily achievements. In addition to increasing DPK, optimizing this program can increase the number of new customers because it provides benefits to customers. The recommendation of this research is that Bank Syariah Indonesia must increase innovation through programs that can provide more value or benefits to customers.

Abstract

Leadership and work ethics, particularly Islamic or faith-based, are crucial indicators of employees’ well-being and work engagement. It increases helping behaviour through motivation and satisfaction levels achieved from a supportive work environment. The research aim is to examine the influence of Islamic leadership and Islamic work ethics on helping behaviour and work engagement through happiness at work to verify this phenomenon, data has been collected from 320 employees working with Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across central Java, Indonesia. All question items from all variables are said to be valid with a value of more than 0.7 and reliable with a value of more than 0.5. This is quantitative design research where a convenience sampling technique was employed. Statistical analysis was done through SmartPLS, revealing a direct relationship among all study variables, such as Islamic leadership, to helping behaviours and work engagement. Additionally, the study identified a direct relationship between Islamic work ethics and helping behaviours, except for a link with work engagement; similarly, employees’ happiness at the workplace acts as a mediator in this study. The hypothesis is accepted because the significance value is more than 1.97. While previous studies have examined workplace happiness and engagement broadly, limited attention has been paid to the role of faith-based leadership and ethics within SMEs in culturally diverse settings like Central Java, Indonesia. This study offers a novel perspective by discussing the pivotal role of Islamic leadership and Islamic work ethics in shaping workplace dynamics, particularly helping behaviour and engagement through happiness.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of the Islamic Human Development Index (I-HDI), Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR), and Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) on poverty in Kebumen Regency during the period 2014-2024, with economic growth as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was applied in this research. The analytical methods employed are path analysis and the Sobel test, utilising secondary data from official publications of the Central Statistics Agency, specifically those of the Kebumen District and the Central Java Province. The results show that the I-HDI has a significant positive impact on economic growth, while the LFPR has no significant impact; however, the OUR indicates a significant negative impact on economic growth. Furthermore, I-HDI was proven to have a positive and significant effect on poverty. In contrast, LFPR, OUR, and economic growth showed a significant adverse effect on poverty. In terms of indirect effects, economic growth was found to be effective in mediating the impact of I-HDI on poverty, but not in mediating the effects of LFPR and OUR on poverty.

Abstract

The development of halal industry is growing rapidly in various sectors so that it becomes a trend of human lifestyle throughout the world. Maomao (Thai Tea) is one of the UMKM that has not been certified as halal, which sells beverage products made from raw tea of Thailand that is rife among the public and is able to spread outlets quickly and broadly in the three regions of Cirebon. In this, case it is interesting to study consumer awareness of halal labels on food and beverages. The research conducted by the author aims to determine the effect of halal labeling on the quantity of purchase and customer satisfaction at Maomao UMKM in Cirebon City. The author uses research methods with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis as well as approaches from various sources of literature, such as books, journals, reports, and previous reports on research outcomes. Based on the research carried out, according to the author's analysis halal labeling on Maomao (Thai Tea) does not affect the level of purchase and customer satisfaction. Because the majority of consumers have believed that Maomao (Thai Tea) has guaranteed halal for the product. This is known from the ingredients in producing Maomao (Thai Tea) (although for the Maomao brand itself has not been certified as halal) and hygienic manufacturing procedure. Through this paper, it is expected that the government or related parties to facilitate the process of halal certification, so that the businessmen prioritize halal labels on their products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Zakat, Infaq dan Sedekah pada BAZNAS Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) pada BAZNAS Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini merupakan hasil penelitian lapangan (fieldresearch) dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi pada BAZNAS Kabupaten Cirebon sudah cukup efektif dan efisien karena telah menggunakan sistem komputerisasi dan server sebagai media penyimpanan online. Adapun sistem akuntansi yang digunakan oleh BAZNAS Kabupaten Cirebon telah mengacu pada PSAK 109 termasuk.dalam penyajian Laporan Keuangannya sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku dan perlakuan dana non halal sesuai dengan syariat. Nomor urut dan formulir bukti penerimaan serta penyaluran telah berfungsi secara baik. Untuk pengendalian internal dilakukan setiap minggu ketika rapat dan diaudit setiap tahun. Namun BAZNAS Kabupaten Cirebon mengalami kekurangan Sumber Daya Manusia karena jumlah karyawannya yang sangat terbatas, selain itu juga ada karyawan yang latar belakang pendidikannya tidak sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaannya, mungkin hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan kinerja yang kurang maksimal.

Abstract

The migration of Hajj savings to Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) following the merger of three Islamic banks presents new challenges, particularly in terms of understanding administrative procedures and the mechanism for paying the Hajj Pilgrimage Costs (BPIH). This Student Creativity Program aims to provide education and assistance to customers at BSI KCP Rembang Sudirman so that they are better prepared to face the migration process and Hajj payment in 2025. The implementation methods include field observations, collaboration with BSI and KUA, group socialization, and facilitation of administrative document completion. The results of the activity showed an increase in customer understanding of the savings migration process and payment procedures, as well as growing adaptation to digital Islamic banking services. However, there were still obstacles in the form of limited digital literacy, time constraints, and concerns about fund security. The synergy between BSI and KUA played a significant role in accelerating the dissemination of information and providing practical support to prospective Hajj pilgrims. The main conclusion of this activity emphasizes that continuous education and intensive assistance are very important to improve the community's readiness to perform the hajj in a more planned, independent, and sharia-compliant manner.

Abstract

This study examined the relationships between work engagement, work-family conflict, and helping behavior, with happiness at work as a moderating variable. The research specifically focused on the working conditions of female employees. Referring to the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory, the findings show that work engagement has a positive and significant effect on helping behavior, whereas work-family conflict has a negative effect. Although happiness at work does not directly influence helping behavior, it significantly moderates both relationships by strengthening the effect of work engagement and reducing the negative impact of work-family conflict. Data were collected using both online and offline questionnaires distributed to female workers in MSMEs across Central Java, including the regions of Karanganyar, Sragen, Grobogan, Blora, Rembang, Pati, Kudus, Jepara, Demak, Semarang, Batang, and Pekalongan. The population in this study comprises all MSMEs in Central Java. The research employed an accidental sampling method based on the availability and willingness of participants. A total of 255 questionnaires were successfully collected. The variable constructs were developed through a rigorous literature review to ensure the validity of each construct. To test the proposed hypotheses, structural model analysis was conducted. These findings highlight the role of psychological well-being—particularly happiness—in fostering prosocial behavior, especially when employees face competing work and family demands. The practical implications emphasize the importance of creating supportive and emotionally positive work environments to enhance collaboration and productivity, particularly among employees who are vulnerable to role conflict.   Keywords: Happiness at Work; Helping Behavior; Work Engagement; Work-Family Conflict.   Abstrak Studi ini meneliti hubungan antara keterlibatan kerja, konflik kerja-keluarga, dan perilaku menolong, dengan kebahagiaan di tempat kerja sebagai moderator. Penelitian ini spesifik meneliti tentang peran pekerja perempuan dalam kondis kerjanya. Mengacu pada teori Job Demands–Resources (JD-R), hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan kerja secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi perilaku menolong, sementara konflik kerja-keluarga memiliki efek negatif. Kebahagiaan di tempat kerja tidak secara langsung memengaruhi perilaku menolong tetapi secara signifikan memoderasi kedua hubungan tersebut meningkatkan efek keterlibatan dan meredam dampak konflik. pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner online dan offline kepada populasi pekerja perempuan di UMKM wilayah Jawa tengah meliputi kota Karanganyar, Sragen, Grobogan, Blora, Rembang, Pati, Kudus, Jepara, Demak, Semarang, Batang, dan Pekalongan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh UMKM di Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode accidental sampling yang ditentukan berdasarkan kesempatan dan ketersediaan partisipan. Penelitian ini berhasil mengumpulkan sampel sebanyak 255 kuesioner. Konstruk variabel yang diteliti dirancang melalui literatur review yang ketat untuk memastikan validitas masing-masing konstruk. Untuk pembuktian hipotesis penelitian maka dilakukan pengujian model struktural yang diusulkan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi peran kesejahteraan psikologis seperti kebahagiaan dalam mendorong perilaku prososial, terutama dalam konteks di mana karyawan menghadapi tuntutan pekerjaan dan keluarga yang bersaing. Implikasi praktis dari studi ini menekankan pentingnya organisasi dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang suportif dan emosional positif. Upaya tersebut dapat memperkuat kolaborasi dan produktivitas di tempat kerja, khususnya bagi pekerja yang rentan mengalami konflik peran.   Kata Kunci: Kebahagiaan di Tempat Kerja, Keterlibatan Kerja, Konflik Pekerjaan-Keluarga, Perilaku Membantu
