Abstract

Intisari— Program pertukaran mahasiswa merupakan bagian dari program Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan PendidikanTinggi, yaitu Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Prodi Teknik Industri, Prodi Teknik Elektro, Prodi Teknik Mesin danProdi Teknik Informatika Fakultas Teknologi Industri telah melaksanakan program pertukaran mahasiswa pada semester ganjil2021/2022. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan Pertukaran mahasiswa yang berjalan di Fakultas TeknologiIndustri Universitas Trisakti dan merancang perbaikan untuk pelaksanaan program pertukaran mahasiswa pada semester yang akandatang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data kuesioner dengan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), poin yang penting untuk diperbaiki dalam program pertukaran mahasiswa untuk kuesioner mahasiswa dan dosen adalah pengembangan Student Information System (SIS), pengembangan penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS). Abstract— The Student Exchange Program is part of the government program, namely Independent Learning Independent Campus.Industrial Engineering Department, Electrical Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department and InformaticsEngineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology has implemented student exchange programs in the odd semester 2021/2022. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the implementation of student exchanges that is being run at the Faculty of Industrial Technology of Trisakti University and design improvements for the implementation of student exchange programs in the coming semester. Based on the results of processing questionnaire data with important performance analysis (IPA) methods, important points to improve in student exchange programs are student information system (SIS) development, learning management system (LMS) development and socialization.

Abstract

PT ABC is a manufacturing company that produces several types of chains in large quantities, and one type of chain that is the main focus of this research is the 428H chain. The obstacle faced in producing the 428H Chain is not achieving the production target from June to July, and September to November 2021. The research focuses on minimizing manufacturing lead time using lean manufacturing by eliminating waste in the 428H Chain production process. Waste elimination is done by providing suggestions for improvements based on the identified waste types. The study begins with the calculation of the time sample, then MLT, PCE, the use of the Waste Assessment Model, and mapping current value stream mapping. The initial MLT was 832.95 minutes and PCE was 63.37%. WAM produces the highest percentage of waste in the type of defect, then motion, inventory, waiting, overproduction, motion, and process. The proposed improvements are in the form of designing SOP Operators on Pressing machines, adding Small Incline Belt Conveyor tools, designing SOPs for Activities in the WIP Area, and adding Manual Hand Stacker tools. The provision of improvement proposals resulted in MLT decreasing 12% to 733.2174 minutes and PCE increasing 8.6% to 71.98%, and the production target was achieved with total production per month increasing by 12%, from 21,783 to 24,746 units per month.

Abstract

One of the grocery companies in Indonesia provides a multi-channel e-groceries digital platform for online daily shopping activities. One of the important elements that support the operational activities of an e-commerce service industry is the warehouse, which serves as a storage place for goods sold and plays a role in maintaining the quality of products before being sent to consumers. Based on observations and interviews directly with employees at the Main Warehouse, one of the causes of waste in its operational activities is the lack of optimal warehousing activities. This research aims to find out and identify waste in the Main Warehouse’s warehousing activities so that the waste that occurs can be investigated, the implementation of the Lean Warehouse approach is needed in its warehousing activities. The research began with Current State VSM with a PCE value of 47.94%, followed by Process Activity Mapping (PAM) and TIM U WOOD Assessment Questionnaire. The results of this study were obtained based on predictions after the proposed improvements were implemented, there was a reduction in processing time and the amount of waste that occurred in several operational activities at the Main Warehouse. The PCE value increased as 5.22% to 53.16% in the Future State VSM.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic has resulted in changes in lifestyle and activities. This is also felt by entrepreneurs who are members of Depok Creative Woman and partners in the Community Service Program. The problems faced by partners are how to use information technology and Google Drive, which can be used to create and store documents that can be accessed and edited online together in WFH situations, how to create and distribute questionnaires that can be used online, what are the security factors that need to be considered in the use of information technology online, as well as how to use information technology in offline internet conditions. This activity aims to provide training on organizing documents to support the effectiveness of WFH activities for partners. The activity plan begins with the identification of partner problems. Next, the activity team is coordinated to find solutions to problems and assignments by team members. Implementation of activities utilizes the video conference Zoom application to explain and practice partners how to utilize information technology related to organizing documents to support the effectiveness of WFH activities. Based on the results of 18 respondents, it is known that 100% of respondents stated that training on uploading documents to Google Drive was beneficial for small and medium businesses/business activities.

Abstract

The lack of human resources (HR) hinders batik stamp production in Batik Kembang Mayang studio. At the same time, the high demand for batik must be fulfilled by the studio. This study aims to design an automated batik stamp production using the Robotic Arm “The Dobot Magician” as an alternative to achieving batik demand. The design was initiated by developing and testing a canting stamp tool on the Dobot Magician end effector. The development of canting stamp tool uses Quality Functions Development (QFD) method. The result showed 16 alternative designs of canting stamp tools based on the interpretation of Kembang Mayang Batik studio needs. Then, it is analyzed by Finite Element Analysis methods to get the proposed canting stamp tool design. The selected design of canting stamp tool has 13 attributes of tools specification. It uses polycarbonate material produced by additive manufacturing or 3D printing. Applying in Robotic Arm “Dobot Magician” showed it can produce a stamp batik.

Abstract

PT. Ganding Toolsindo selalu berusaha meningkatkan hasil produksinya untuk memenuhi kepuasan dan kepercayaan para pelanggan, akan tetapi pelanggan sering mengeluhkan bahwa perusahaan tidak dapat memenuhi permintaan produk yang dipesannya, hal ini dikarenakan kendala yang dialami oleh perusahaan. Berdasarkan penelitian pendahuluan yang dilakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung di lantai produksi PT. Ganding Toolsindo didapati bahwa tidak tercapainya rata – rata target produksi/hari dikarenakan adanya aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah atau waste. Berdasarkan pengamatan tersebut, diperlukan suatu pendekatan yang dapat meminimasi waste yang terjadi di lantai proses produksi. Salah satu pendekatan untuk meminimasi waste tersebut adalah Lean Manufacturing, pendekatan ini berfokus untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan (waste) pada proses produksi. Pemborosan didefinisikan sebagai segala sesuatu yang tidak menambah nilai pada produk. Tujuan utama dari Lean Manufacturing yakni untuk menghasilkan produk berkualitas tinggi dengan biaya serendah mungkin dalam waktu singkat dengan mengeliminasi pemborosan yang ada pada proses produksi. Salah satu tools Lean Manufacturing yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Value stream Mapping dimana tools tersebut membantu untuk memetakan kondisi aliran proses untuk mengetahui letak dan jenis waste yang terjadi pada aktivitas produksi.

Abstract

PT TIJ is a women's bag company located in Cilodong - Depok which has grown with family management. Companies need to share knowledge regarding plans to increase bag production capacity to meet customer demand. This Community Service Activity (CSA) is a continuation of outreach and mentoring activities. Based on the evaluation results of previous PkM activities and the results of discussions with the company during mentoring, it can be seen that the production line experiencing production capacity problems is the bag assembly line. The company needs further activities to achieve the company's production targets which continue to increase both in variety and production capacity. Industrial partners are expected to have an understanding of the concept of production capacity and its calculations as well as strategic plans to increase production capacity following increasing demand. PkM activities aim to provide counseling and assistance regarding calculating production capacity and strategies for increasing production capacity on bag assembly lines. The implementation of PkM has been carried out well and has been confirmed to be able to improve company performance through improving production capacity management. Furthermore, PkM is expected to focus on improving the company's human resources.

Abstract

The significant losses caused by breakdowns in the bending machine directly affect Company X. Machines that frequently experience breakdowns can also adversely affect machine efficiency due to the need for component replacements, which contradicts the principle of sustainability aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at achieving a better and more sustainable future for all. The objective of this study is to improve the sustainability index (SI) through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and to calculate the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). These three aspects are closely related to enhancing company productivity in terms of production and sustainability. The study includes calculations of machine effectiveness using OEE and the assessment of company losses using the Six Big Losses framework. The results indicate that the average OEE over one year is 55%, which is below the international ideal standard and the company's target of 70%. Additionally, the sustainability index value obtained is 82.36%. Improvements are proposed based on the pillars of Total Productive Maintenance, focusing on safety, health, and environment, planned maintenance, and autonomous maintenance, all while considering sustainability aspects.  Furthermore, the study suggests enhancements to the 6S foundation within the company, adhering to sustainability aspects in line with SDG 12. By implementing a Total Productive Maintenance strategy that considers Safety, Health, and Environment, Planned Maintenance, and Autonomous Maintenance, and by advancing the 6S concept, the sustainability index value can be increased to 80.91%. Moreover, the effectiveness of the bending machine can be improved to 70.34%.

Abstract

Waste management in RT 08 Cibodas Village still uses traditional methods that are less effective and risk polluting the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to hold community service activities that aim to introduce and apply smart trash bins to RT 08 Cibodas Village residents as an innovative solution in waste management. This activity also educates the community about the importance of saving energy and protecting the environment to increase awareness of environmental sustainability. The implementation of PKM activities includes observation and interviews, needs analysis, delivery of materials, and demonstrations and grants of tools to residents. The pre-test results showed that most residents were not familiar with the concept of technology-based waste sorting. In contrast, the post-test showed an increase in their understanding and interest. In addition, 91.8% of participants considered this helpful activity, and it was conducted to add new insights into technology-based waste management. Hopefully, this innovation can be implemented sustainably to create a cleaner and healthier environment.
