Abstract

PT . Gaya Motor is a manufacturing company that is engaged in the assembly and production of automotive components incorporated in the group of PT Astra International.Perusahaan implement inventory control system Just In Time.Kanban’s supplier with safety stock of 0.5 days plus a safety stock of 0.5 extra days beyond the kanban. The study was conducted on the material supply products Main Floor Side LH SA - 001 , SA - 002 , SA - 003 , SA - 004 , SA - 005 , SA - 006 , SA - 007 , SA - 008 and SA - 009. Problems faced by the company are the high amount of inventory caused by inaccurate inventory systems and fault current in raw material procurement procedures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the companys current inventory control system and propose improvements inventory control system that can minimize inventory costs compared to the cost of inventory at the companys current inventory system.Kanban inventory method supplier company currently has a total cost of inventory of Rp 318.861.462,00. Supplier kanban inventory control methods with safety stock kanban 0.1 days has a total cost of inventory of Rp 158.703.378,00. Inventory control methods Two - Bin Replenishment has a total inventory cost of Rp 98.497.214,00. From the results of these calculations, the minimum inventory cost obtained by using the method of inventory Two - Bin Replenishment, and made proposals related to changes in inventory control system.

Abstract

Data mining is useful in finding interesting patterns of hidden information in a database with specified algorithms. Management of uncertainty in the automotive industry supply chain, with case data at PT QQQ that produce car batteries, classification techniques are used to manage uncertainty in the case of engine breakdown. Based on the utilization of classification techniques, performance comparison analysis was carried out from several methods, namely Decision Tree, Bagging, Boosting and Random Forest. The research data is divided into testing data (75%) and training data (25%). This study uses Software R for analysis needs. The need for testing the goodness of the model uses package (caret) help to see the value of accuracy, sensitivity and specificity. The analysis shows that the Random Forest and Bagging method is superior compared to the Decision Tree and Boosting methods based on accuracy criteria, while the sensitivity criteria, Bagging and Boosting methods are superior to Random Forest and DecisionTree. The lowest sensitivity value is owned by the Decision Tree Method, which indicates that the ability of the method is weak in predicting very few classes.

Abstract

Agility amid uncertain circumstances is key to all-across sustainable industries, and the construction industry depends heavily on projects as potent drivers to their operational activities regardless of projects’ hardwired constraints—shipment, resistance to risks— to affect Key Performance Indicator (KPI). PT ABX as one of Indonesian precast-concrete manufactures is the object of this research aiming to find precautionary strategies for controlling disruptions to concrete supply chain in construction projects. It takes into account such supply-chain disruptions, and therefore, the two-layered model of House of Risk (HOR) to subsume risks identification and risks control is applicable for minimizing possible disruptions. It finds risk events some of which are classified as critical risk events and preventive actions against risks. The findings contribute to working framework for managers responsible for applying effective strategies for preventing such disruptions.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan swasta yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur produksi material fitting accessories untuk pemasangan sambungan material listrik tegangan rumah, menengah, dan tinggi. Masalah yang terjadi pada perusahaan yaitu berhentinya proses produksi saat melakukan perakitan akibat pengadaan komponen dan penjadwalan produksi yang tidak tepat. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perancangan sistem bahan baku dengan Material Requirement Planning (MRP) serta merancang penjadwalan produksi menggunakan algoritma genetika. Berdasarkan input  MRP akan dilakukan tahapan MRP yang meliputi netting, lotting, time offsetting, dan exploding. Hasil perhitungan MRP berupa planned order release yang dijadikan input dalam penjadwalan produksi flowshop dengan menggunakan metode meta heuristik yaitu genetic algorithm yang meliputi tahapan pembentuan kromosom, penentuan parameter, inisialisasi populasi, performansi kinerja kromosom, seleksi kromosom, crossover, mutasi, dan generasi. Hasil rancangan MRP menghasilkan 3 level untuk 29 tabel MRP. Hasil penjadwalan produksi menggunakan  genetic algorithm menghasilkan completion time sebesar 2664 menit dengan urutan J3-J5-J6-J4-J7-J1-J2 atau mengalami penurunan sebesar 536 menit (25.1%) dibandingkan penjadwalan perusahaan.

Abstract

PT. CSM merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor industri otomotif. Stamping parts merupakan salah satu produk unggulan yang dihasilkan oleh PT. CSM. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan adalah belum optimalnya pemanfaatan ruang gudang barang jadi yang tersedia. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan adanya penempatan produk secara tidak teratur, adanya area pada gudang barang jadi yang difungsikan di luar kegiatan penyimpanan, penempatan produk jadi di luar area gudang karena daya tampung gudang barang jadi kurang maksimal, serta penempatan produk jadi yang mengganggu jalur gang dan saling menghalangi satu sama lain. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melakukan analisis dan memberikan usulan perbaikan rancangan tata letak gudang produk jadi pada PT CSM. Pemecahan masalah diawali dengan melakukan evaluasi terhadap kondisi awal gudang barang jadi dengan menggunakan check sheet, perhitungan total biaya perpindahan, total jarak tempuh forklift, dan utilitas penggunaan ruangan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diperoleh total biaya perpindahan pada kondisi awal gudang barang jadi sebesar Rp 264.662,84 per hari dan total jarak tempuh dari pintu masuk gudang menuju area penyimpanan dan dari area penyimpanan ke pintu keluar gudang sebesar 2.336,28 meter. Langkah pemecahan masalah berikutnya adalah melakukan perancangan rak untuk meningkatkan daya tampung gudang. Selanjutnya digunakan algoritma Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering untuk mengetahui hasil pengelompokan tipe stamping parts sesuai dengan kecenderungan keanggotaannya. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan pengelompokkan tipe produk jadi ke dalam 4 cluster sebagai dasar penempatan produk jadi untuk meminimalkan jarak tempuh dalam pengangkutan produk jadi. Usulan rancangan tata letak gudang barang jadi menghasilkan total biaya perpindahan sebesar Rp 252.982,69 per hari atau penurunan sebesar 4,4132% dari kondisi awal gudang, dengan total jarak tempuh dari pintu masuk gudang menuju area penyimpanan dan dari area penyimpanan ke pintu keluar gudang sebesar 983,146 meter. Tata letak gudang barang jadi usulan terbaik menghasilkan utilisasi ruangan sebesar 25,078%. Kata Kunci: Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering, Perancangan Tata Letak Gudang, Sistem Rak

Abstract

Menghadapi persaingan industri yang semakin ketat, perusahaan manufaktur berusaha meningkatkan daya saingnya dengan meningkatkan produktifitas, kualitas dan juga efisiensinya. Dalam proses produksi pembuatan produk, perusahaan juga menghadapi permasalahan terjadinya waste. Waste berdampak secara langsung kepada menurunnya produktivitas dan tingginya biaya produksi. Pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah menerapkan lean manufacturing, yaitu konsep yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan proses manufaktur yang lebih efisien dengan mengeliminasi semua unsur waste dalam proses pembuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil rancangan model lean manufacturing dengan menggunakan beberapa alat bantu yang sesuai untuk mereduksi biaya dan meningkatkan customer perceived value. Rancangan model perlu divalidasi dengan menggunakan kasus pada perusahaan manufaktur tertentu. Diharapkan rancangan model lean manufacturing dapat menjadi solusi bagi perusahaan manufaktur untuk dapat mereduksi biaya dan meningkatkan customer perceived value.
