Recently ICT has important role in learning since modern classroom is changing. It is to ease the learning process for the students studying, in town either in the urban area. One of those learning processes is learning English. The role of ICT is implemented in some innovated learning models, and one of those is blended learning. Blended learning is the combination between the traditional teaching model and the online teaching model. This study is aimed at promoting the blended learning as one of innovated and recommended teaching ways with the advantages and how to implement this learning model for being used to teach English in some probable areas. This study is theoretical based research with accurate sources. In conclusion, this learning model, blended learning, can be considered as one of innovated teaching ways to teach English since it offers new experience for the students, improving the students activeness, improving exam performance, tightening the engagement and interaction, and others.

Essentially, learning Indonesian is the same as learning other foreign languages for the foreigners, and it uses the same methods for teaching and learning process. The tutor of that learning Indonesian for the foreigners (BIPA) must choose the appropriate methods for making teaching and learning process runs well and interesting. This paper is written based on the literature which aims at promoting a game, Visit My Stall, game for learning Indonesian as a foreign language. This paper also tries to show the explanation about this game, how to implement it, roles of the teacher and learners, as well as the assessment and the advantages offered. This game is created based on the principles of Communicative Language Teaching and Cooperative Learning in which learners are given the opportunities for cooperating with their group actively and interacting by exchanging their ideas to solve the problems in the form of tasks given by the teacher by means for achieving the same goals of each group. This game is not only to improve learners’ speaking skill in Indonesian, but also to motivate them when the learning process takes place. Thus, learning Indonesian for the foreigners will be an exciting and enjoyable activity for them.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process shifted from face-to-face to online learning. English4IT is one of the platforms that can support the success of the online learning process. This study aims to investigate and describe the use of the English4IT platform to assist the English learning process for computer science learners. The platform contains materials suitable for computer science learners’ needs, including vocabulary, four main English skills, and practical activities, either synchronous or asynchronous. This descriptive qualitative study gathered the data from the contents of the English4IT platform. The data were then analyzed qualitatively by applying the platform and comparing the findings with previous studies and existing theories. This study’s novelty lies in its originality since a deep investigation of this platform has not been conducted by any previous researchers. The findings indicated that the use of this platform could effectively assist the students in learning English and motivate them to join. Various materials provided adequate teaching materials and references for computer science learners. The activities could enhance the students’ progress in each skill, and the re-do feature made it easier for learners to correct their mistakes. This study implies that the English4IT platform is recommended as an alternative way to teach English to computer science students. Before using this platform, it is recommended to recognize the strengths and weaknesses so that the English teachers can use it effectively.

The existence of figurative language in every people’s communication indicates the uniqueness of language itself. It beautifies oral and written communication. This research aims to find out and describe the use of figurative language in ‘Mysterious Things’ segment of Hirotada Radifan’s YouTube channel. There were 28 videos has been collected from the YouTube channel using Simak and Catat method in 3 months. For analyzing the data, Pilah Unsur Penentu method was implemented. The result of this research was presented using sentence form and it showed that the figurative languages often used by the speaker were simile, sarcasm, metaphor, satire, hyperbole, and irony. Besides, the performative utterances found in this research were exercitives, behabitives, and expositives. In conclusion, the unique utterances in each of his video contains various figurative language to beautify the speech and entertain the viewers so it can increase the viewers and subscribers.

The learning process in this pandemic era triggers the enhancement of technology utilization. The virtual learning classroom is then used for compensating the absence of face to face learning process. It also happens in the learning process for English for specific purposes (ESP). This research is aimed at finding out and describing the students’ perceptions about virtual discussion conducted by the lecturer for some meetings according to the campus’ syllabus. The data is collected from questionnaire-interview (Questaview) containing some questions to enlist students’ views which are distributed to 3 classes, they are two Information System classes and an Accounting Information System class. The sample of this research is just 30% of the entire students which are 22 students. Then, for analyzing the data, the researcher describes the students’ opinion on virtual discussion of learning English for specific purposes and uses Likert scale. The result shows that virtual discussion has positive and negative effects to comprehend the material, less acceptance of English material, less practice, yet the flexibility of learning time and re-reading material can be approved by the students. At the last opinion, the students state their wishes in conducting double ways consecutively, both online and offline for obtaining the useful benefits from those two.

The payroll and wages system is made to make it easier for financial officers who have the responsibility to provide salaries or wages to employees. The data used in the process of providing employee work results includes the division of tasks and responsibilities in work as well as accounting records that must be owned by the company so that what employees receive is in accordance with their work results. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the payroll and wage system at this finance company is running well. This study uses data collection methods including: observation, interviews, and literature study. Data analysis in research is a descriptive analysis of the results of research that has been done, so it can be concluded that the finance company has run a very good system. The documents used in payroll and wages are sufficient so that the process of giving salaries and wages to employees runs well because the systems and documents really support company activities. The completeness of the documents made by the company is in accordance with the theory of the payroll and wage accounting system and the accounting records and financial bookkeeping that are used are appropriate so that when distributing payroll and wages the employees do not experience difficulties. The bookkeeping in the company, such as general journals and employee earning cards, is proof of giving employee work results according to the rules that apply to the company.

Dalam proses pembelajaran dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan diperlukan adanya pendidikan dan pengajaran yang baik melalui metode pendidikan dan pengajaran sehingga dapat tercapai harapan-harapan yang diinginkan lembaga tersebut. Pondok Moderen International Boarding School Kawit An-Nur Slawi merupakan lembaga yang mengharapkan pendidikan dan pengajaran yang baik terhadap santri-santrinya. Keberhasilan lembaga ini terlihat dari pendidikan dan pengajaran 24 jam di pondok .juga melalui metode keteladanan, metode pembiasaan, metode pengawasan dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang mendidik santri-santrinya. Diantara kegiatan-kegiatan santri ada kegiatan harian yaitu dengan sholat berjamaah serta nasihat yang mendidik, serta membaca al-qur’an dengan pengawasan yang ketat, disiplin masuk kelas dengan memperhatikan seragamnya dan bawaan masuk kelas, dan kegiatan mingguan yaitu dengan ceramah untuk santri disertai nasehat-nasehat yang mendidik.

Education is an important factor that contributes to the country's progress at all levels of society. The extent to which religious values can influence and shape a person's character really depends on how many religious values are embedded in him. The deeper religious values are embedded in a person, the more his personality will manifest and form religious attitudes, because people are used to carrying out religious activities. Religious values are the basis for the formation of religious cultural values, because if religious values are not formed then religious culture will not be formed. This research includes field research, with a qualitative approach, meaning research that produces analytical procedures that do not use statistical analysis or other quantitative methods. The data collection techniques are interviews, observations and notes. The data obtained was then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research show that the strategy for religious values for the community of Pacul village is to provide spiritual purification, holding additional activities such as maulidan activities, religious activities, visiting sick people, and other spiritual worship.

Education should produce the next generation through Islamic boarding schools who have the character to take control of the state. It is hoped that it will produce the next generation with strong character to accept the baton of leadership. Education has an important role in shaping society, especially among teenagers who are experiencing changes in themselves. With education at an Islamic boarding school, we can overcome moral problems in teenagers, although not completely, and reduce the problems that are currently troubling a country. There are many worries among educators that internal and external factors are not in control of teenagers' education. One external factor that appears and is very influential is smartphones, which can open sites that are not educational, and an internal factor is the lack of attention of parents towards their children.
