Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasingly fierce competition in the pharmaceutical business has forced pharmacies to develop strategies so that more consumers are interested in buying and purchasing OTC medicine products. East Jakarta Pharmacy X's strategy to influence consumer purchasing decision on OTC medicine products using service quality, price and brand image. The purpose of this study focuses on knowing the direct and indirect effect of service quality, price, and brand image with purchase intention on purchasing decisions OTC medicine products at pharmacy X in East Jakarta. The research sample was 200 respondents who were consumers who had purchased OTC medicine products at pharmacy X in East Jakarta at least twice. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis which was processed with the help of Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of the study prove that the service quality, price, and brand image variable directly has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The price variable directly has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The service quality, price, and brand image variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with purchase intention. Keywords: Service Quality, Price, Brand image, Purchase Intention, Purchase Decision  ABSTRAK Persaingan bisnis farmasi yang semakin ketat membuat apotek merancang strategi agar lebih banyak konsumen berminat membeli dan melakukan pembelian produk obat OTC di Apotek X Jakarta Timur. Strategi apotek X Jakarta Timur untuk mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen pada produk obat OTC menggunakan kualitas pelayanan, harga dan citra merek. Tujuan penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, harga, dan citra merek dengan minat beli terhadap keputusan pembelian produk obat OTC di Apotek X Jakarta Timur. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 200 responden yang merupakan konsumen yang pernah membeli produk obat OTC di Apotek X Jakarta Timur minimal dua kali. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) yang diolah dengan bantuan software Smart PLS 3.0. Kesimpulan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan, harga, dan citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Variabel kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan minat beli. Variabel harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan minat beli. Abstract

ABSTRACT During the pandemic, all sectors, including trade in cosmetic products, experienced a decline. Dr. X's beauty clinic in Bekasi has more than 2,000 members, where during this pandemic the number of customers for Dr. X's beauty clinic has not decreased too much. This proves that dr.X beauty clinic has loyal customers. The purpose of this study was to obtain the influence of brand image and product quality on customer satisfaction and their impact on customer loyalty. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach by filling out questionnaires online via the Google form and as many as 403 respondents were sampled in the study. Data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. This study shows that brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction with a t value of 3.996. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a t value of 2.106. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction with a t value of 4.478. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a t value of 2.690. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image with a t value of 14.619. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a t value of 2.108. Keywords: Brand Image, Product Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty, SEM  ABSTRAK Disaat masa pandemi semua sektor termasuk perdagangan produk kosmetik mengalami penurunan. Klinik kecantikan dr.X di Bekasi memiliki lebih dari 2000 member, dimana pada masa pandemi ini jumlah pelanggan klinik kecantikan dr.X tidak mengalami penurunan yang terlalu besar. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa klinik kecantikan dr.X memiliki pelanggan yang loyal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pengaruh citra merek dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan pelanggan serta dampaknya terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengisi kuesioner secara online melalui google form dan sebanyak 403 responden yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian. Data dianalisis menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 3. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai t yaitu 3,996. Abstract

PT X Bekasi Hospital is very aware of the importance of service quality for customer satisfaction. The survey results for the January-October 2021 period, out of 1631 total complaints against pharmaceutical services at PT X Bekasi Hospital, there were 45 complaints. Survey results and prescription coverage data show that there is still a gap between expectations and reality. This study aims to determine and explain the effect of improving the quality of pharmaceutical services on the satisfaction and trust of independent outpatients at PT X Bekasi Hospital. The research method uses a quasi-experimental method (Quasi Experiment Methode) with a control group pre-test and post-test approach. The results showed that the value of service quality was still below the score before the intervention. There is an influence of efforts to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services on the satisfaction and trust of independent outpatients at PT X Bekasi Hospital, with an influence of 62.3%. Service quality can make patient expectations of the quality of services provided in the form of quality employee performance and professional competence. Efforts to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services have an impact on the trust of independent outpatients at PT X Bekasi Hospital, with an influence of 46.8%. This means a quality management system that makes employees or employees increase their professional competence, thus making customers assess the company and its employees to be trustworthy and reliable entities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan brand image terhadap loyalitas pelanggan dengan kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel intervening pada pengguna Barbara Walden Hair Spray. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-verifikatif. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen dan loyalitas pelanggan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel perantara. Sebaliknya, kualitas produk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen maupun loyalitas pelanggan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa brand image Barbara Walden hair spray memiliki peran dominan dalam membentuk kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan sementara kualitas produk tetap perlu dipertahankan agar konsistensi persepsi positif terhadap merek tidak menurun. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pelaku usaha untuk fokus pada strategi penguatan brand image melalui inovasi komunikasi dan pengalaman konsumen dan sekaligus memastikan standar kualitas produk tetap terjaga sebagai upaya mempertahankan dan meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan. Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the malignancies with a high morbidity rate, in which the excessive activation of the Myc proto-oncogene protein (MYC) plays a critical role in tumor proliferation and progression. MYC requires the presence of WD repeat-containing protein 5 (WDR5) to bind to its target genes; thus, the WDR5–MYC interaction represents a strategic target for the development of breast cancer therapy. This study aimed to identify leaf metabolites of Annona muricata with the potential to inhibit the WDR5–MYC interaction using an in silico approach. A total of 193 metabolites from the KNApSAcK database were modeled in 3D and analyzed by molecular docking using Molegro Virtual Docker (MVD) against the structure of WDR5 in complex with a MYC inhibitor fragment (PDB ID: 6UHY). Docking validation was performed by redocking the native ligand, 1-cyclohexyl-1H-benzimidazole-5-carboxylic acid, which yielded an RMSD value < 2 Å. The docking results indicated that epicatechin gallate, muricatetrocin B, and isoorientin exhibited the highest binding affinities, with Moldock Scores of –123.522, –115.862, and –97.3305 kJ/mol, respectively, supported by strong hydrogen-bond interactions. Interaction visualization revealed that epicatechin gallate formed more key interactions with critical residues in the WDR5 active site compared with the native ligand. These findings suggest that epicatechin gallate is a promising candidate for inhibiting the WDR5–MYC interaction and may be further developed as a natural-product-based anticancer agent.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the wound healing profile in hyperglycemic rats treated with 70% ethanolic extract of Moringa oleifera Lam. leaves compared with povidone iodine, to determine the most effective extract concentration, and to assess the quality of the leaf extract. The extract was prepared using 70% ethanol maceration and evaluated for yield, moisture content, pH, total flavonoid content, and quercetin levels. Twenty-five rats were divided into five groups: negative control, positive control (povidone iodine), and extract concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 15%. A 2-cm dorsal incised wound was created on each rat, followed by once-daily topical application for 14 days. Macroscopic observations included wound closure, scab formation, and hair growth. Quality evaluation showed a yield of 23.8% (≥ 9.2%), moisture content of 4.05% (< 10%), pH of 5.70 (4.5–6.0), total flavonoid content of 2.58 mg QE/g, and quercetin content of 0.69%. Wound-healing analysis demonstrated significant differences between groups, with a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The mean percentage of wound-area reduction was 95% for the 5% extract, 94.71% for the 10% extract, 95.87% for the 15% extract, and 90.37% for the positive control group. The 15% extract was the most effective in accelerating scab formation and hair growth. In conclusion, especially at the 15% concentration, the ethanol extract of Moringa oleifera leaves demonstrated good extract quality and successfully accelerated wound healing in hyperglycemic rats.

Abstract

 Due to the shortcomings of existing medications, depression remains a worldwide neuropsychiatric disorder requiring innovative therapeutic strategies. Natural compounds represent promising multi-target antidepressant candidates; however, their chemical complexity necessitates advanced analytical tools. This systematic literature review assessed the application of liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) in the identification, profiling, and standardization of natural antidepressant compounds. A comprehensive search of major databases was conducted following PRISMA guidelines for studies published between 2014 and 2024, with a total of six eligible studies were included in the qualitative synthesis.. The findings indicate that LC–MS, particularly high-resolution platforms such as QTOF and Orbitrap, is the primary method for metabolite profiling and dereplication of bioactive classes including flavonoids, alkaloids, and phenolic acids. Integration of LC–MS data with in vitro and in vivo models has facilitated the correlation of chemical profiles with pharmacological mechanisms, such as neurotransmitter regulation. Despite its pivotal role in evidence-based natural product research, challenges remain in analytical standardization and clinical translation. In conclusion, LC–MS is an indispensable and transformative tool in the development of natural product-based antidepressants, providing robust chemical characterization that supports pharmacological validation and accelerates drug discovery. Future research should emphasize methodological harmonization and systems biology integration to enhance translational impact.

Abstract

Evaluasi komprehensif diperlukan untuk menambahkan bukti klinis yang berdampak pada peningkatan implementasi konseling Apoteker di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh konseling apoteker terhadap luaran terapi pasien Diabete Melitus Tipe 2 (DMT2) yaitu skor pengetahuan, kepatuhan, nilai Glukosa Darah Puasa (GDP), Glukosa Darah Post Prandial (GDPP) dan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan menyertakan 60 partisipan pada periode Desember 2024 – Juni 2025. Intervensi yang diberikan berupa konseling apoteker dengan media leaflet dan video edukasi. Skor pengetahuan, kepatuhan dan kualitas hidup dikumpulkan berturut-turut menggunakan kuesioner DMT2 Knowledge Questionaire (DKQ), MMAS-8, EQ-5D-5L, sedangkan hasil GDP dan GDPP dikumpulkan dari rekam medis pasien. Data dikumpulkan sebelum intervensi dan 1 bulan setelah intervensi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji t-test tidak berpasangan dan regresi linier. Kelompok intervensi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol secara signifikan memiliki rata-rata skor pengetahuan lebih tinggi (+6,163), rerata nilai kepatuhan lebih tinggi (+1,135), rerata nilai GDP dan GDPP lebih rendah ( berturut-turut -53,520 dan -80,018) serta rerata nilai kualitas hidup yang lebih tinggi (+0,089) (p <0,001). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan usia memengaruhi skor pengetahuan dan kepatuhan pasien DMT2 (p <0,05). Konseling apoteker meningkatkan luaran terapi pasien DMT2 dan secara konsisten berdasarkan hasil analisis multivariat ditemukan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap luaran terapi pasien (p <0,001).
