Abstract

Rendahnya capaian literasi siswa Indonesia berdasarkan hasil PISA dan hasil asesmen SD Negeri Kalijambu tahun 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model instrumen tes yang valid guna mengukur capaian pembelajaran bahasa indonesia dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di akhir fase C. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi di dunia pendidikan adalah rendahnya hasil PISA terkait dengan literasi siswa, pengembangan model asesmen yang valid dan dapat diandalkan untuk mengukur capaian pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia menjadi sesuatu yang penting. Tujuan Penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui kebutuhan kepala sekolah,guru dan siswa Sekolah dasar terhadap model assesmen bahasa indonesia , mengembangkan desain model asesmen, mengetahui validitas isi, psikometri dan validasi konstraks dari instrumen asesmen bahasa indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (resecarch and development). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan pada jenis penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu menggunakan model ADDIE yang dilaksanakan pada bulan November – Desember pada Sekolah Dasar Di Gugus Kihajar Dewantara dengan sampel sebanyak 50 siswa.. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semua butir soal memiliki koefisien korelasi yang signifikan, dengan nilai di atas ambang batas yang ditetapkan, sehingga dinyatakan valid. Validitas instrumen ini sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa evaluasi hasil belajar sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Kurikulum Merdeka, serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan kurikulum dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa indonesia di sekolah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan asesmen pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and inform about the influence of social media on the speech acts or behavior of students in an educational unit by looking at it based on direct illocution and indirect illocution. The data in this analysis are students in grades 4, 5 and 6 of SD Dhuhaa Islamic School. The primary data in this research are students' actions and speech related to direct locution and indirect illocution, while the secondary data are books or expert opinions related to the object of this research. This research is included in qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. This research uses a content analysis method. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that there is an influence from the use of social media on the speech acts of students in grades 4, 5 and 6 at SD Dhuhaa Islamic School. This is because of the speech acts or behavior shown by these students, which are included in the influence of social media.

Abstract

Mastery of vocabulary is an important key in learning Arabic, because it plays a significant role in the development of four language skills (Maharoh Al-Lughawiyyah): listening (Maharoh Al-Istima'), reading (Maharoh Al-Qiroah), speaking (Maharoh Al-Kalam), and writing (Maharoh Al-Kitabah). However, the availability of printed books for Arabic subjects at MAN 2 Tegal is inadequate, and learning still uses conventional methods without the support of learning media. This condition causes low student understanding. To overcome these problems, this study aims to develop learning media based on valid, practical, and effective vocabulary e-modules. This study involved 128 students with a sample of 64 students in grades XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study showed that: (1) The vocabulary e-module was considered very valid by subject teachers, material validators, and media validators; (2) The level of practicality of the e-module based on student responses reached (90%), which was categorized as practical to very practical; (3) The effectiveness of the e-module is proven by the results of the Gain Score test with an average increase of 0.758, which is included in the high category. Thus, the Mufrodat e-module has the potential to be a solution to significantly improve students' understanding of Arabic.

Abstract

This study focuses on efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Sociology at SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. It was found that student learning outcomes were still suboptimal, attributed to a lack of variation in teaching methods, minimal active student engagement, and limited learning media. To address these issues, the study implemented a Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on ecomedia. Using a quantitative method and factorial design, the research involved 72 tenth-grade students, with class X.9 serving as the experimental group and class X.8 as the control group. Through the analysis of pre-test and post-test scores, the study evaluated the differences in learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the PjBL model. The results indicated that the ecomedia-based PjBL model had a significant positive impact on student learning outcomes for both male and female students, with no notable differences between the two. These findings highlight the importance of developing teaching methods that combine conventional elements with PjBL, as well as encouraging teachers to be more creative in utilizing learning media to make the teaching and learning process more engaging and effective for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ketercapaian implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran bahasa inggris di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) se-Kecamatan Kersana berdasarkan aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan yaitu Countenance Stake. Subjek penelitian adalah 111 peserta didik dan tiga guru bahasa inggris dari tiga SMPN se-Kecamatan Kersana. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket, studi dokumen, dan observasi dengan pengharkatan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Ketercapaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa inggris pada aspek perencanaan di SMPN se-Kecamatan Kersana secara umum memiliki kriteria sangat baik dilihat dari indikator karakteristik dokumen rencana pembelajaran, isi dokumen rencana pembelajaran, kegiatan pendahuluan dan strategi pembelajaran (2) Aspek pelaksanaan secara umum memiliki kriteria baik dilihat dari indikator pembelajaran yang interaktif, inspiratif, menyenangkan, menantang, berpartisipasi aktif, dan penilaian proses pembelajaran (3) Aspek hasil secara umum memiliki kriteria baik dilihat dari indikator hasil nilai ulangan harian hasil nilai tengah semester, hasil nilai akhir semester, hasil nilai sikap, dan hasil nilai tugas. Secara umum, hasil evaluasi ini menunjukkan bahwa belum semua indikator mencapai 100% sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatkan agar lebih optimal. Rekomendasi yang diberikan antara lain: sekolah sebaiknya mengadakan pelatihan berkaitan dengan peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan Teknologi Informasi, menerapkan strategi mengajar dan metode mengajar, mengembangkan tugas yang bervariasi dalam tingkat kesulitan yang berbeda-beda

Abstract

This study aims to develop and assess the effectiveness of two innovative educational models to enhance student learning motivation and achievement. The first focuses on designing a STEAM-based cooperative learning model to improve students' learning motivation in Public Elementary Schools in Brebes District, Brebes Regency. Through a Research and Development (RD) approach, the study identifies issues such as conventional teacher-centered methods, lack of STEAM integration, unstructured collaboration, and assessment misalignment. Findings indicate a significant improvement in students' motivation, shown by the increase in the experimental class mean score from 52.8000 to 75.0000, supported by statistical analysis (t = 61.562, sig = 2.446 ≥ 0.05), proving the model’s effectiveness. The second part of the study develops a website-based science learning parenting model for broken home students at SMPN 2 Tanjung Brebes. Using the ADD development model, the research addresses the high demand for interactive, accessible, and curriculum-aligned learning media. The website integrates tools like Google Sites, Drive, and Forms, and based on validation and student responses (94% “Very Positive”) as well as improved learning outcomes, the model is deemed effective and feasible for supporting science learning and increasing student involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, instructional design, and the utilization of educational technology on the quality of Indonesian language instruction in junior high schools (SMP) and Islamic junior high schools (MTs) in the Songgom District, Brebes Regency. Employing a quantitative method with a descriptive and analytical approach, data were collected through questionnaires administered to 30 Indonesian language teachers as respondents. The data were subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The findings reveal that: (1) The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has a statistically significant negative effect on the quality of Indonesian language instruction, indicating the presence of challenges such as teacher readiness and adaptation to curriculum changes. (2) Instructional design exhibits a statistically significant positive effect, underscoring the critical role of well-structured planning in enhancing instructional quality. (3) The utilization of educational technology also demonstrates a statistically significant positive effect, suggesting that the integration of technology contributes to greater instructional effectiveness. Collectively, these three variables account for 57.6% of the variance in instructional quality, while the remaining 42.4% is attributable to factors beyond the scope of this study. The implications of this research emphasize the necessity of comprehensive teacher training to enhance understanding and competence in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, the development of innovative instructional designs, and the optimal integration of educational technology. Recommendations for schools and policymakers include the provision of supporting infrastructure, training modules, and more intensive dissemination of the curriculum. Consequently, this study contributes to the advancement of Indonesian language instructional quality in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the STEAM-PROKSI (Student Innovation Creativity and Synergy Project) model in IPAS Phase B learning and evaluate its impact on the development of logical, creative, and innovative thinking skills in elementary school students. The research approach used is a mixed method, which combines descriptive qualitative and quasi-experimental approaches. A qualitative approach was used to explore the learning process, student experience, and teacher and student perception of the application of the STEAM-PROKSI model, with a case study method carried out in two elementary schools in Moga District, Pemalang Regency. Qualitative data collection techniques include observation during the learning process, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of student projects. Qualitative data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification, with the validity of the data guaranteed through source and method triangulation techniques. Meanwhile, the quantitative approach uses a quasi-experimental design with two groups: the experimental group using the STEAM-PROXI model and the control group using the conventional approach. The instrument used was a high-level thinking skill test before and after treatment to measure the improvement of students' logical, creative, and innovative thinking skills. The results of the study show that the application of the STEAM-PROXSI model is able to create a meaningful and contextual learning experience, as well as encourage students to develop high-level thinking skills through project activities that are integrated with real life. Despite challenges in time planning, resource availability, and the implementation of a cross-disciplinary approach, overall the implementation of this model was considered effective. These findings recommend STEAM-PROKSI as an alternative innovative learning model in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, especially in science subjects at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by social media such as TikTok in the dissemination of information owned by Dokter Detektif to reveal health cases using rhetorical techniques to improve students speaking skills. This study aims to describe the rhetorical techniques used in the video uploads of the Dokter Detektif account on TikTok social media and describe the implications of the research results for Indonesian language learning in vocational schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique uses the listening method with the technique of free listening and speaking, note-taking, and documentation. The results show that in the video uploads of the Dokter Detektif account on TikTok social media, 54 rhetorical utterances consisting of ethos, pathos, and logos. Of the three logos appears most dominant, followed by pathos, and then ethos. The dominant of logos that the information conveyed in the video relies more on logic and facts to convince the audience. The results of the study have implications for Indonesian language learning in SMK Phase E on the Negotiation text material which can train speaking skills.
