Abstract

This research focuses on developing "Arabic Cast," an audio learning media presented as an Android application, aimed at enhancing listening skills in Arabic for 10th grade students at Muhammadiyyah Al-Kautsar Senior High School's Special Program in Kartasura. The ADDIE research and development model guided the study through Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The study involved all 10th graders of the program. Data collection included validation questionnaires from media experts, student response questionnaires, and pre- and post-test results in oral and written exams. Quantitative analysis and t-tests were used for data interpretation. Key findings include the successful design of "Arabic Cast" as a user-friendly Android application and its effectiveness in improving students' listening skills. Validation by media experts indicated a 90% approval rate, while student response rate was 81%. Significant improvements in listening skills were evidenced by pretest and posttest results, showing a statistical significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The study concludes that "Arabic Cast" is an effective and appealing tool for enhancing Arabic listening skills among high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the philosophical reasons for choosing the International Baccalaureat (IB) programme as an internationalization strategy at Yayasan Lembaga Pendidikan Al Firdaus (YLPAF) and find out the preparation using the IB curriculum. This research is qualitative research with action research methods. Data collection techniques with observations, interviews, and documents. Those studied were YLPAF directors, principals and teachers. Data analysis used interactive analysis. Data validity methods used with triangulation of data sources. The results of this study are the philosophical reasons why YLPAF chose the IB curriculum because the IB program teaches character and IB does not change the initial concept of Al Firdaus as an inclusive and Islamic school. The preparations made by YLPAF in preparing for IB authorization are as follows: improving human resource skills at YLPAF, especially in the fields of IT and English, train all stokeholders towards the IB programme, carry out all activities recommended in the IB programme so that the concept of IB is more quickly recognized and absorbed by YLPAF.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a breakthrough and advancement that focuses on the needs and demands of students. Over time, digital transformation has undergone rapid development. This has a significant impact on the growth of various sectors, including the education sector. Technology or Artificial Intelligence (AI) has experienced significant developments along with technological advances. The presence of AI is increasingly affecting all aspects of human life, especially in the field of education. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi filosofi Tri Dharma Raden Mas Said yang meliputi Rumangsa Melu Handarbeni (merasa ikut memiliki), Wajib Melu Hangrungkebi (wajib ikut membela), dan Mulat Sarira Hangroso Wani (berani introspeksi diri) ke dalam pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (pendidikan, penelitian, pengabdian masyarakat) di UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) memahami konsep filosofi Tri Dharma Raden Mas Said dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam; (2) menganalisis relevansi nilai-nilai tersebut dengan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi; dan (3) merumuskan strategi integrasi yang aplikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap literatur serta dokumen institusional. Analisis data mengikuti model interaktif Miles & Huberman (reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi). Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa filosofi Tri Dharma Raden Mas Said memiliki relevansi kuat dengan nilai-nilai Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dan dapat memperkaya dimensi moral, kultural, dan spiritual dalam pendidikan tinggi Islam. Implementasi yang efektif memerlukan strategi struktural, peningkatan kapasitas sivitas akademika, dukungan kebijakan institusional, serta kolaborasi aktif antara kampus dan komunitas lokal. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan kurikulum, penelitian partisipatif, dan pengabdian masyarakat berbasis kearifan lokal. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Arabic language learning (writing skills/maharah kitabah) in class 8A1 at MTs Negeri 2 Surakarta using the Stake’s Countenance Model. This model consists of three main components: antecedents (planning), transactions (implementation), and outcomes (learning results). The research employed a descriptive qualitative evaluative approach. Data were collected through observations, written tests, and documentation, then analyzed using contingency analysis to compare the ideal and actual conditions, accompanied by judgments regarding their level of conformity. The findings show that in the planning component, the teacher demonstrated good readiness through complete learning tools, although media innovation and the use of technology still need improvement. In terms of implementation, the learning process ran effectively and according to plan; however, time management needs to be improved to ensure more optimal activities. In the outcome component, students' writing abilities showed strong achievement, particularly in imla’ and insya’. The contingency analysis also revealed a strong relationship between planning readiness and successful learning outcomes. Overall, the effectiveness of maharah kitabah learning in class 8A1 can be categorized as good, although several improvements are still needed to enhance the quality of future learning.
